Everything you need to play lacrosse, soccer, and an entire wall full of paddleball -- which apparently started in Rochester, who knew? If you told me Valenti Sports was the preeminent paddleball shop in the world, I would not question that. Since this place has an obvious focus on sports that are popular locally, I was a little surprised that I didn't find anything for disc golf. I'll just leave that one hanging out there in the Great Suggestion Box That Is Yelp. Definitely a great place for outfitting an athlete, but lacking typical gifty stuff -- such as lawn games, toys, jerseys and team gear. Several (non-pushy) salespeople asked if we needed help; this seems to be a place to go when you're on a mission -- "I'm looking for soccer cleats" or "my daughter wants to try out for the lacrosse team, what will she need?" We didn't grab anything during our visit, but I'll be back -- I am in want of a pair of indoor soccer cleats. And a soccer ball. And some athletic ability, but I'm afraid they might be fresh out of that.

Kendra encouraged me to go back in the store as I said I want this store to get credit for an in-store sale. When I spoke with Patrice and explained to her what Kendra would do for me, she immediately said that she would honor that.
