I took my time selecting my items, but 15 minutes later that converstation was still going on. I stood off to the side for a moment or two, waiting for the clerk to see that I was ready to pay for my items. He did not acknowledge me. So I said outloud, "I am ready to check out". He took my small handful of items, and between arguments with those other two customers about which part of the Columbia was open, he very slowly began to ring up my purchase. It honestly took him two minutes to scan my five items. Then he just .... sat. Stood there and argued with those other customers (who were not trying to make a purchase - maybe they had done that before I arrived, but they were not holding any merchandise) about where the Columbia was closed. I finally got frustrated and left. Bottom line -- don't go here unless you wish to be ignored. I cannot imagine this place staying in business. I ended up spending my money at Dicks -- at least they had time for me. I would not suggest this store for any reason. I really miss Grumpy's (which this new store replaced).

Our family booked a rafting trip through Suncadia Lodge in Cle Elum Washington and they referred us…read moreto troutwater fly. They provided us with two river raft guides and two rafts for 10 of us. They picked us up at our rental house in Suncadia and took us down to the Cle Elum River. we split up into two groups and each got a ride. None of us had to paddle it was more of a float and there were some very small Rapids to go through that were more of a fun ride than scary. They also provided us with water guns so we could have a fun family duel. Along the way we saw a deer and some elk and a few baby ducks and our guide, Blake, was very knowledgeable about the area friendly and fun. They provided us with wine, beer and lots of fun and laughter for a great day on the river. The whole tour lasted about 3 hours from start to finish. They do different tours one is on the Cle Elum River and one is on the Yakima River I have done both and we liked the Cle Elum River better it's a lot faster and more fun.

While he was at the computer he pointed the firearm to his right. He pointed the firearm at me and the customers that who he was helping. I commented that he had just flagged me with a firearm. He shrugged his shoulders and kept on walking. He didn't apologize or say anything. It was the most disrespected i have ever felt in the store. Anyone that is handling firearms, with a trigger lock or not, should know the universal firearm rules. 1. Treat all firearms as loaded and always point in a safe direction. 2. Never point a firearm at anything you don't want to destroy or pay for. 3. Keep your finger indexed until you have sights on target and you have made the decision to fire. 4. Know your backstop and what lies beyond it. Your employee violated universal rules 1,2, 4. I don't know the condition of the firearm. I know that I was looking at the muzzle and that he was pointing toward the other customers and toward the corner of the store. This event occurred at approximately 1315 hours. You can review the camera footage and see what I am talking about. I also spoke to the fishing manager about the incident. I was very upset at the lack of respect. A simple sorry would have sufficed. I have Hunter Education Students that are better at muzzle control then this associate. I recommend he be fired for violating the firearm rules. If he has done it once, I am sure he has done it multiple times. I am not going to let this rest. This is not the way people need to be treated.

I recently ordered a 3wt Redington CT combo with the Big Y standard reel. The combo was delivered in a couple of days. I noticed a problem with the fly line the 1st time I cast it. I emailed them and got a quick response even though it was Labor Day. They emailed me a shipping label to send the reel back. I had the reel back in my hands respooled with new line in less than a week. Great customer service! I've also got to say I'm really impressed with their Big Y Standard reel for the money. The machining is great and it's a really smooth reel that seems to shoot way above its price point.
