BEST SHOP IN TOWN! Very unique Such cool and cute things. We bought postcards and a Halloween brooch. MUST STOP IN!

I am always on the hunt for zoltar! He is a must see anywhere and everywhere I go. So when I find him I am extra happy . Found out he was at the emporium so I stood in line. Line went fast. When I got inside I bee lined for him. One dollar later got my fortune we were interested in seeing some hat options. Nick was very patient kind while we discussed hats. My husband ended up with purchasing a new Fedora and I ended up purchasing a new feather piece for my 1920s Halloween outfit. Prices extremely reasonable. Facility clean, well lit, and the decor beautiful. Super happy we stopped in.

Easily one of my favorite stores in Salem if not my number one favorite. They have so many cool things to peruse. Everything from barber surgeon style art, to a dark academia aesthetic, to beautiful 1920s inspired anything! Postcards, prints, tapestries, hats galore. My brain won't even let me come up with all the words I want to describe it but please check this spot out! I bought some stunning gold lookin' cicada earrings and I get so many compliments on

This shop was a feast for the eyes! Gorgeous displayed items, plenty of oddities I would have loved to indulge in! John was the one who actually got something here! They have quite the selection of hats for both men and women~ John was commenting about he couldn't pull off the Irish Tweed Hat look and grabbed one to prove his point and guess what! He looked great! I told him to turn around and look in the mirror and he was surprised! These hats are never inexpensive- but this wool and cashmere lined, waterproof hat was $60. That's what I expected- the craftsmanship of the hat was wonderful and it was raining and did indeed keep his head dry the rest of the day. My proud Irishman was so happy he wore it the rest of our stay and on the plane ride home! Makes me smile~

Great haberdashery! Amazing in fact . The decor brings you back in time. Wonderful selection of hats and mens grooming supplies and so much more. We make it a point to go whenever we are in the area!

Some of the super fun, highly unusual items for sale in this wonderful store.

They also have a fortune telling machine "Zoltar" although he was out of order last time I went, I still had fun browsing around.

Walking in, you are bombarded by everything black, dark and magical. The first thing that catches your eyes is the huge illuminated witch in the center of the shop. Everything and anything dark and spooky you can think of you will most definitely find here. There's a lot of dark pieces here. I'm into positive spells, magic and the history of it all but some of the stuff they had here is are things I'm not into it. But it's cool that I got to check out it. I adore that this store is on an old bank. The venue is stunning. The building is very ornate. I can only imagine the kind of history that this building holds. I find these old historical buildings so fascinating. It's cool that I got to check things out while I made my way through part of the shop. This joint is the definition of spooky, witchy and Halloween. I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for the Blackcraft Coffee. If you're looking to add darkness into your life or home, this is your go to spot for it!

You walk inside and your eyes immediately go up to the enormously gorgeous witch statue that is hanging from the ceiling. I had seen photos and videos, but it is more beautiful in person. It is a tribute to one of the owners and her battle with cancer. The inside is decorated spooky with tons of orange and black everywhere - I wanted to stay here forever. They even had a life size statue of Edgar Allen Poe. They offer a ton of merchandise from apparel to mugs to even stickers and magnets. Everything is pricy as you would expect, but you can only get their items in store so I think it is worth it if you're looking for something unique. BlackCraft Cult also does a haunted house on the weekends during the Halloween season with live scare actors - you can tour it during the week too, but they do not have the actors then. Staff were friendly and helpful! I hope to come back some day to visit again! Check them out!

I had fun browsing here and almost felt bad buying anything and taking it out of the shop since it all looked so good where it was! Someone please film a music video here or something. The jewelry designs at the counter were fun, but I wish they had more fine materials. I was considering some rings but ended up passing due to how bulky they were and them not being Sterling, but they had some good budget friendly options. This was one of the few shops downtown that had cosmetics and perfumes as well. It seemed they had some fun indie brands for beauty products, but I didn't get to check them out super closely. Great spot for home decor and personal care items, especially if you want to have a Gothic theme.

I don't think I've ever found the perfect shade of red and perfect smell for the gossip looks. I want until now. If I had more time (and budget), I would've looked at the jewelry and hair accessories. I will say that the prices were very high. I know that when it comes to Gothic culture and aesthetics, it's bound to cost a lot. I have my own thoughts about that as a whole and capitalism but now it's not really the time for that. I do acknowledge that a lot of the items in the store are from smaller businesses or meticulously made which is why I don't really have an issue with the prices. Just something to take a note of before you come here. Just to give an estimate, I bought five items (none bigger than the palm of my hand) and the total was close to $200. Overall, the people were amazing and I loved the atmosphere. I would love to return here and resupply myself with a lot more items.
