What a dream! I honestly didnt know this store existed but so glad I found it while visiting Salem! A Goths dream thats for sure. Upon entering, you are greeted by a massive huge open floor plan of everything black, spooky and horror! There was so much too see and I wanted everything! A few photo op opportunies throughout the store. All the employees were super friendly and efficient. I ended up buying a blackcraft hoodie and decorated my own Salem Tote bag. With the purchase of a $35 tote bag, I get one patch free to put on the bag. If I want more, I of course can purchase however many patches I want. Thomas was HUGE HELP and very pleasant. He helped me with the placement if the patches and explained everything in great detail! Once everything is placed in its desired position, he will go ahead and get everything pressed. I loved it! Just the experience made it worth while for me. My very own custom made tote bag. Overall, great time in this store and I highly recommend visiting when you are in Salem. To say that I was blown away when we walked into BlackCraft Cult would be an understatement. I remember opening the door and hearing my husband say "whoa." You walk inside and your eyes immediately go up to the enormously gorgeous witch statue that is hanging from the ceiling. I had seen photos and videos, but it is more beautiful in person. It is a tribute to one of the owners and her battle with cancer. The inside is decorated spooky with tons of orange and black everywhere - I wanted to stay here forever. They even had a life size statue of Edgar Allen Poe. They offer a ton of merchandise from apparel to mugs to even stickers and magnets. Everything is pricy as you would expect, but you can only get their items in store so I think it is worth it if you're looking for something unique. BlackCraft Cult also does a haunted house on the weekends during the Halloween season with live scare actors - you can tour it during the week too, but they do not have the actors then. First, there are two listings on Yelp that are related and have nearly identical names and the identical address. This review is for the goth Blackcraft retail place. Upon entering from the charming street, the eye is drawn upward through a massive space that is BlackCraft Salem. There is a great wow factor here! Most surfaces in the room are black, however the ceiling features a large glass area with a suspended life size witch sculpture. There is a pathway straight through the center of the room with children's clothing to the right and more adult sizes in the middle and rear. To the left are seasonal items and the checkout counter. On the left side from the entry, there is a great photo opportunity including a throne surrounded by candles. There is also a life sized Edgar Allen Poe statue on the right side of the room which also makes a fun photo opportunity. There is a good selection of items and sizes. There is an area upstairs that was available for small private events. It looks pretty cool. The coffee counter is in the far right rear corner and requires reservations during the spooky holiday season. (See review for my take about that item) This is a location not to miss overall. This was a really cool shop in Salem. The way the merchandise is laid out and the decor is simply magnificent! I was obsessed with the huge giant witch hanging from the calling, that was super cool. I purchased a $60 zip up hoodie that I couldn't say no to. The coffee shop in the back is also super cute. Also has cool decor and the coffee machine is in a shape of a cauldron. The coffee I found to be extremely sweet, so I purchased an extra shot of espresso and it balanced it out. We are super into Halloween but they made us interested in the merry season with spooky, stuffed Christmas trees and Frankenstein nutcrackers (or should I say the "monster", Frankenstein was the scientist). BCC was at the top of our list of places to visit during our first trip to Salem. The photos online don't do the place justice. The dark, cavernous interior exudes goth vibes and there's plenty of space between displays to see the products. My daughter snapped up a twofer shirt/hoodie she'd been eyeing online, and my wife found several home decor pieces she loved. The staff were very busy filling online orders, but not too busy to answer questions and make us feel appreciated as we checked out. I visited BlackCraft Salem to see the large witch statue, not realizing there was also a coffee shop and unique merchandise inside all within a beautifully revamped bank building, which I thought was really cool! The store vibe reminded me of 'Dolls Kill.' While my husband and I were browsing, one of the employees let us know about a no-show reservation at the coffee shop and asked if we were interested. I'm so glad they did! Our drinks were amazing I ordered the Hexed Apple Brew, and he got the Magic Mocha Latte. Both were 10/10! I only wish I lived closer so I could try more. read more

This store used to be a bank so they have 'vaults' of items as well. I especially love the witch on the broomstick hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the place! I saw this store when I first arrived in Salem and was a little nervous by the store name (so I didn't initially check it out), however, before I was leaving Salem for the day, I saw that there was a BlackCraft Coffee sign and tried to find the door. When I couldn't find it, I walked past and saw a grand entrance and decided to pop in. I was immediately breathless with how beautiful the inside is! On the ceiling is a hugeee witch on a broom. The store used to be a bank, so the interior is painted black to match the theme, but still very grand. They also have the bank vaults where they have items on display. Towards the back of the store, they have the coffee shop which you place your name for a reservation so that you and your group are the only people in the coffee shop (which is nice). They also do haunted houses next door (which wasn't open when I went, but I was fine with that since that's not my thing anyway). The coffee shop had such cute decor and their coffee machine is in the shape of a cauldron! The names of the coffee were so cute and the coffee was delicious! This store is amazing. Incredible decor, awesome merchandise and the employees are super sweet & helpful. They have merch for everyone including pets and kids. Loved the amount of mothman stuff they had too - it's sometimes hard to find. My partner got a coffee and it was excellent. They put our purchases in a reusable tote which was very much appreciated. Ordered a shirt on December 6th for my friend's birthday. After a week with no shipping notification, I reached out to see if it would ship soon, bc if not I wanted a refund so I could get a gift that would be here on time. They responded immediately saying it shipped, but by "shipped" they really meant they made a label and would actually send it out 5 days later. So i wasted money on a gift that won't be here in time. Will never shop with them again. I understand holidays are a busy time, but they knowingly lied. Having a package in pre shipment with a label created for 5 days is not the same as being shipped. The showstopper, however, was the gigantic witch sculpture that hangs right above the store. Lots of campy items to buy. A little too dark sided for my christian faith but the store experience was still super cool and magical. I'd imagine a store like this in a fantasy film. Worth checking out! I used to love black craft but lately their quality of products have gotten worse. I purchased the Ouija board wallet January 2025 and every day the zipper gets jammed on the coin pouch and lining within the wallet. The interior is awesome; it's an old bank complete with vaults, marble floors, and teller counters, but everything is painted black and converted in spooky decor.
