This has been one of the most difficult and disappointing companies to deal with. I met with 4 different landscapers and chose to go with Diego after meeting a couple times, a huge mistake. His words and promises are garbage, he doesn't show up when he says he will or he shows up late and his communication skills are sorely lacking and we don't hear from him for days to a week at a time. I have on text that he said our front yard project would be done in 6-8 days (main reason I even hired him) and here we are going into the third month. I have a video from our Ring the day we signed our contract with him stating he would have the project finished within the first week because he had another huge project lined up after ours. Things were constantly changed, he measured our front yard incorrectly three times after bragging about being in this business for 30 years, not our fault. He went against our contract and mixed up the payment schedule asking for more money in the middle of the project. It should have been a red flag when he asked for way more than 10% up front. He gave us choices between 4 different turf samples and then reneged I'm sure when he realized that the higher quality turf he gave us as an option would not make him any profit (which I also have proof he said this in text). It has been a complete nightmare and I wouldn't recommend him to anyone, unfortunately. Customers beware as we just spent $18k of our hard earned savings for what ended up being a project from hell that dragged on way longer than it should have and pretty shoddy work with the turf. I had a mess of a front yard, beautiful plants but overgrown (jungle status). I inherited a landscape from the previous homeowner that I had no idea how to maintain and could not do it myself. The business was very attentive to my requirements and demands. Mainly worked with Tony. Explained what I required and how I wanted it to look for my side yard. His crew performed better than expected. Removed my PVC sprinkler system and installed a drip watering system. The latter worked better for my potted succulents. Everything was done better than expected and also had them trim my Ivy and remove a small tree and a rotted tree trunk as well. In the beginning, Diego was very responsive and trustworthy. I decided to make an appointment with him and his team to clean up the lawn at one of the rentals. The team did a good job but the reason why I'm giving him a two stars is because of the lack of communication after the work was done. I forgot to ask for a receipt after the job was done, so I texted him to send a receipt via email. He responded,"okay sure no problem" and I haven't received anything the following day. I followed up 3-4 more times and he keeps saying he'll send it in 10-20 minutes but never keeps his word. It's been a week now and unfortunately this kind of forced my hand to write this review, cause at this point I'll probably never get my receipt. UPDATE: After writing the review, Diego sent me the receipt the same night. I'll bring this up to 3 stars just because I did get the receipt.
