I ask if he could hold it for me behind the counter instead, he stays with his nasty attitude and shouts at me to leave it in the front, says no one will touch it. I decide to leave instead since it's his rules and no point in arguing them. Instead of simply letting me go he starts to shout at me and berate me as I walk out the door saying NO! LEAVE IT THERE! NO ONE WILL TOUCH IT! etc. If he doesn't want people with scooters, fine, it's his store. But when someone chooses to leave instead of leaving it unattended, (out in the open, 5 inches from an entrance with ZERO security, where anyone walking by can just grab it and run) you do not have a right to shout at, berate and insult them. From what i managed to see of the stuff I was looking at in the front before this, he overprices things, doesn't bother cleaning anything, the display boxes are full of dust with things thrown around. No organizing, no cleaning, nothing. All this plus his disrespectful attitude, shouting and barking instead of just speaking to me like a normal human being makes this an easy recommendation to AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

More so like one of those closeout stores. To make matters worse, the prices were astronomically high. Who I can only assume was the owner was charging the same thing that Walmart would charge for a "over the toilet" shelf organizer.... MAYBE $2 less ... So the front of the store was a bust for me. However, once I walked to the back, I realize that there was an entire outdoor area where all the actual second hand items were. This gave me a false sense of hope because this should NOT be categorized as a thrift store. The prices are gouged on everything and it was sorely disappointing. Seems as if the owner assumes that any person under 35 that walks in is a reseller and wants to up charge you accordingly.

I have to say, after coming here for many years and being a solid buyer for your store, the…read morefavoritism is one that really stands out as a major insult considering I spend around $18k-20k a year at your store alone. I was waiting patiently to look at some jewelry, a random regular walks in, came over, and the workers helped her first. She came in after me, yet I was told I had to wait until a cashier was available... so I did and was looked over. The buyer asked me what I was looking at as she looked at several pieces, I told her bc it wasn't much, she asked to see it, and bought it. Totally not ok. I also am now seeing some of your workers snapping photos of the garments/tags/doing research on selling platforms and on sale day having people come in and buy the garments for them. I get it, but still kind of not ok. Also the amount of replica luxury brands you're selling for real luxury designer retail prices is not a good look. In fact, I actually just bought what looked to be real pair of DOUBLE RL jeans for $40, had them authenticated, and sure enough they are Chinese fake from Santee alley. I just wasted $40 on a pair of $2 jeans and you have no returns. Legally, you do have to refund buyers if the garments they are purchasing are replicas as it is a federal offense to sell replicas. I'm not asking for a refund, instead what I am asking is for you to really be careful bc $40 is a lot of money for 1 pair of used jeans. It's my fault for not doing research prior. I was in a hurry and thought they would work for a western model I had today. Now I can't use them and had to spend more money on another pair of jeans. Please, I love your store and I will continue to come in, but take care of your community and really have your pricers do their research on items that you have marked incredibly high for what they are going for on eBay/poshmark. Used frame jeans should not be $79 in your store. Used express dresses that are from 3 years ago with stains and piling should not be $40. Your pricers will make or break your success. Their pricing strategy is going to have your items take up valuable space that other garments that may sell for a reasonable asking price could be occupying. I'm giving you advice bc I too am in the fashion industry. I'm a solo $1.8m annual income owner. I know what works and what doesn't. I've been in the fashion resale/movie rental space since 1999 and have been very successful doing it. I love your concept and your location for the community. Just take this as an outsider looking in on what can help you and your company be better than the rest.

There is some good stuff occasionally which is why i added the extra star but besides that, this thrift sucks now. The people are okay, no problems with them but no kindness from them either so its whatever, but even then they get first picks when the donations come in. How are you gonna overprice your stuff and pick out the affordable good stuff? If yall want a good nice thrift just go to the one on Artesia called "Quality Thrift" because nobody deserves a trash thrift like this.

Charging $20 for a beat up worn T-shirt that isn't even vintage doesn't make sense to me when similar items can be found elsewhere for much less. For example- the swap meet $1 clothing piles And mind you it's 100 degrees in there... I was ready to go I didn't see anything I wanted I asked him can I come back and pick when they have rotate they clothes and he said no... I'm already mad it's the same stuff in here from last time so I'm like whatever check me out and he told me crazy prices and told him I wasn't paying it and he got mad and refunded me I've visited this spot multiple times and even paid deposits in advance hoping to find quality inventory, so this review comes from actual experience. As someone who has spent years in retail, I understand how the business works, which is why this experience was disappointing. My advice: do better with customer service, pricing, and how employees and customers are treated. Respect goes a long way. But don't worry I'll just get the bales like he does from Japan

Parking The biggest downside is parking. There's no parking lot, and street parking is usually full. It's a busy area with houses and businesses, so you often have to wait for someone to leave. Prices & Selection I came looking for a college shirt and was pleasantly surprised. Most of the T-shirts I saw were $2.99, which is a great price, especially for something last-minute. The shirts were in good condition and didn't look overly worn. I bought two for $2.99 each and one I really liked for $6.99, which felt high but I really liked it. Extras They had cute hand sanitizers at the front: $1.99 for one, cheaper if you buy more, and 99¢ each if you buy five definitely the best deal. Customer Service Customer service was good. There was no line when I arrived, but it suddenly got busy. Even then, another employee quickly opened the second register. The cashier was friendly, explained the sanitizer deals, answered my pricing questions, and gave me a receipt and a flyer for an upcoming sale. Overall Great prices, decent selection, and good customer service. Parking is a hassle, but I'd still come back because the deals are worth it.
