I have to say, after coming here for many years and being a solid buyer for your store, the favoritism is one that really stands out as a major insult considering I spend around $18k-20k a year at your store alone. I was waiting patiently to look at some jewelry, a random regular walks in, came over, and the workers helped her first. She came in after me, yet I was told I had to wait until a cashier was available... so I did and was looked over. The buyer asked me what I was looking at as she looked at several pieces, I told her bc it wasn't much, she asked to see it, and bought it. Totally not ok. I also am now seeing some of your workers snapping photos of the garments/tags/doing research on selling platforms and on sale day having people come in and buy the garments for them. I get it, but still kind of not ok. Also the amount of replica luxury brands you're selling for real luxury designer retail prices is not a good look. In fact, I actually just bought what looked to be real pair of DOUBLE RL jeans for $40, had them authenticated, and sure enough they are Chinese fake from Santee alley. I just wasted $40 on a pair of $2 jeans and you have no returns. Legally, you do have to refund buyers if the garments they are purchasing are replicas as it is a federal offense to sell replicas. I'm not asking for a refund, instead what I am asking is for you to really be careful bc $40 is a lot of money for 1 pair of used jeans. It's my fault for not doing research prior. I was in a hurry and thought they would work for a western model I had today. Now I can't use them and had to spend more money on another pair of jeans. Please, I love your store and I will continue to come in, but take care of your community and really have your pricers do their research on items that you have marked incredibly high for what they are going for on eBay/poshmark. Used frame jeans should not be $79 in your store. Used express dresses that are from 3 years ago with stains and piling should not be $40. Your pricers will make or break your success. Their pricing strategy is going to have your items take up valuable space that other garments that may sell for a reasonable asking price could be occupying. I'm giving you advice bc I too am in the fashion industry. I'm a solo $1.8m annual income owner. I know what works and what doesn't. I've been in the fashion resale/movie rental space since 1999 and have been very successful doing it. I love your concept and your location for the community. Just take this as an outsider looking in on what can help you and your company be better than the rest. read more

(Writing this while in the store) This place has gotten greedy, it used to actually be a good thrift but i came back after a few months to everything being priced way more than it should, like what hoodie is $20 in a thrift? There is some good stuff occasionally which is why i added the extra star but besides that, this thrift sucks now. The people are okay, no problems with them but no kindness from them either so its whatever, but even then they get first picks when the donations come in. How are you gonna overprice your stuff and pick out the affordable good stuff? The store is pretty clean, considering it's a second hand store. The staff varies with how friendly they can be and helpful. Some push their way around and do not say excuse me others make small talk. The clothing selection is decent. Prices have gone up since they opened. Decent things but a lot of prices are unfair, you got this stuff for free. Also you are in BELL CA. This isn't a big place to charge the locals those types of prices. I found a ps5 there for 100 bucks!!! the people working there were great!! i asked if it was the correct price and they said yes supposedly because su they tried to turn it on but it wouldn't work so I took it home and dusted it off and really cleand it because it was super dirty and after that I turned it on and it worked!!! best experience ever. read more

This was a hard review to write, because I love thrifting. I've visited dozens of thrift stores in Los Angeles, and often I don't write yelp reviews unless something really sticks out. That being noted, I was super excited to try this thrift as it is fairly close to me. There is ample parking for free on the street or the parking lot in the back. The entrance also is from the back, which is a little confusing at first. When you enter, you immediately see a bunch of children's clothing all well organized on racks. On the left-hand side there is a very large selection of shoes, and tons of purses on the ends of the racks of clothes. As you enter, you realize how large the store actually is, it way bigger than I realized from other yelp reviews. It is a two-story building, but all of the clothing, shoes, purses, home goods are on the first floor. I primarily shop for clothes, so that is the basis of this review. For the most part, a lot of the clothing was priced similar to goodwill or SA, mostly ranging $6+. Some clothing items were significantly overpriced in my opinion ($25-30+ for a pair of USED DONATED jeans). Even that, I could live with and would shop again regardless of. The purses ranged from $5-20 from what I saw. Now, for the reason I will not be returning and why I did not purchase anything... They double staple ALL of the clothes AND PURSES, as well as putting security pins through the clothing and some bags. I'm all for loss prevention, I get it, but staples!!!???? Really??? I was heartbroken seeing all of the damaged clothing. Tag guns are so cheap to buy! Why would you intentionally damage your merchandise??? This is why did not purchase anything. Management, if you're reading this, please invest in just buying a tag gun and save the clothing!! read more

I have a passionate love/hate relationship with this thrift. I find a lot a lot of good shit here. Definitely a hidden gems.The prices are either reasonable or aggressively traumatic. I've seen way too many items for $25-50?? But on Wednesday's most tags are half off so that's gr8! Another thing is the employees. I have one particular employee/manager? That I loathe with a passion that runs so deep. He's rude and condescending. I used to come here all the time , never had a problem , one day I went over like $15 more than I wanted to spend and I asked the manger to put it back he got angry and said "I don't have time for this , your not suppose to do this in the front ." I replied "I never do this , it's my first time ." Bell thrift, more like bell THIEF. I always come here and give them so much money, which is why I'm so upset and decided to write this review. I cane me here yesterday and bought $45 worth of things. When I got to my car I decided to record a haul for my tik tok. I purchased a jewelry item along with the clothes and when I noticed the jewelry item wasn't in my bag I looked for it all over the bags, my car, even the clothes thinking it got stuck there but nothing. I looked for a good 5 mins even triple checked. They had already closed the gate so I couldn't go back inside. I saw an employee leaving and asked him if there was any chance I could get the item he said no come back tomorrow. So I went today around 12:30pm and told me they had to check the cameras. It took them like 30 min to check and I was browsing around the store. The employee then comes to me and tells me that the cashier did put the jewelry item in my bag and that I walked out with the item so there was nothing they could do. HOW COULD I WALK AWAY WITH IT IF I DON'T HAVE IT!!!??? I wouldn't have wasted my time and gas to drive to the store for them to tell me that over $3 dollars. Like really they couldn't give me another item of the same value??? I'm just so upset because every time I come I spend $80+ dollars and the old man is always so polite that it irks me that they don't care about customers. I was looking for my phone thinking I lost it so I didn't verify with the cashier that the jewelry item was in the bag. I think she noticed that I was distracted and maybe took the item for herself or something idk. Not as great of a deal as it used to be. In addition, the constant nagging at 5:45 that they are closing in 5 minutes, don't bring hangars and you need to get out of the aisles by the so called manager "Juanito" is very annoying. They also now have a security guard that seems to think everyone is stealing and is always behind people is also very offensive. I love this thrift store! It has so many great things! I have bought vintage suitcases, vintage trunks, vintage dresses, records, vintage picnic baskets, so many silver plated things! I also bought glass candle holders for my wedding! I've also gotten so many vintage clutches and a ton of name brand clothes including Steve Madden, Vera wang! I bought a Dooney and Bourke vintage all leather handbag for $20! I also got a ton of lace table cloths for $1- $5 each! They are way more economical than going to Downtown LA's fabric district! As far as clothes, they have good finds! Lots of dresses from David's Bridal for not David's Bridal prices. It's just great! I'm a teacher so I need a lot of supplies and this store always has great things that can be reused including, but not limited to, yarn, pencils, paint brushes, art supplies, organizing boxes, shelves and many more things that are great for my lessons! They have a small plus size section. Everything is divided by size/gender/ age. It's mostly clothes with a small selection of shoes/ housewear/ bags.
