I hadn't done it before, so I asked if I could hang out, watch and learn so I at least know what's going on inside there. Well my wheels didn't have nearly enough grease from the factory so it's good I had them come by, they replaced bearings and adjusted brakes, I'm confident in their work and know I'm safe on the road. Legit the kindest people you could ask for, thorough and know their stuff. I ask questions, they can answer them and explain what they're looking at and looking for. There's a reason their reviews are great, this is who you want to take care of your vehicles.

Stopped in to get the pump and nozzles for wiper fluid fixed on my tractor. It was a weekday…read moremorning and they were able to pull me in and start working immediately. It took a little over an hour. Pros: quickly serviced me and quickly got me out of there in about an hour. Price on nozzles was pretty good. Cons: price on the pump was meh. A week or two later, the line to the wiper nozzle got disconnected because it wasn't long enough and there was too much tension when using the wipers. I had to reroute the line and secure it differently in order for the line to remain connected with regular usage. Really simple fix, but I just paid someone $300 to have my wiper fluid system in good working order. This shouldn't have been an issue... and my line is still pretty short. I just had to work around it. If I wasn't using the company card on a company truck, I'd have saved myself $240 and done it myself.

UPDATE Beyond responding to one post of a review placed on…read moremultiple platforms, requesting the review to be removed, Inner-City Auto Repair & Tires (now renamed as Prime Time Auto) has done nothing to right the wrong done to my vehicle under their care and do right by this particular customer. Against my better judgement, yet in the spirit of hoping for the best, I acquiesced to their request to have my vehicle brought back so they could assess the situation in detail. All that they have done is confirm the damage resulting from the shotty work done by placing a junk used motor with conflicting warranty information they have no intention of honoring and correcting. The "parts dealer" of THEIR choosing, according to their words, offers a 6-mos. warranty, via phone they told their own labor warranty is 9-mos., yet their own invoice says 12-mos. No matter the number, this motor failed well within the max. parameters. Their warranty and office reps offered no assistance with tow to and from their business, no car rental assistance to aid in the hardship this situation has created, no partial refund, and in the end essentially "passed the buck" recommending it be taken to the dealership for correction. Due to the irreparable damage caused by the install of the junk motor, the dealership offered video of the diagnostic and a BRAND NEW overall repair for $1000 LESS than Prime Time Auto did less than 12-mos. ago. As mentioned before I have asked and given them the opportunity to be honorable and at the very least offer a partial refund on the failed and overpriced parts & labor provided and at every chance they have skirted responsibility and failed to show respectable actions over empty words even going as far as avoiding and dodging follow-up phone calls in the most unprofessional fashion (all follow-up phone calls came from effort on my part, not the other way around.) BUYER BEWARE, there is no honor amongst thieves, and you may find yourself in Small Claims court over any major repair.

So I made an appointment and took my 2002 F-250 Power stroke (7.3) in for an oil leak and to upgrade the trans cooler plus a service... The place is clean, and the people (all family) are very nice, professional, and enthusiastic... I definitely felt that my truck was in good hands as I left the place... bottom line, they did the work, new upgraded trans cooler, fixed the oil leak that turned out to be a simple fuel leak, ( honesty ) changed the oil, the coolant, the drive belt and the brake pads... also repaired a freon leak in the ac... This was all done a few months ago ( took me that long to do this review ) and of coarse my truck just runs better, stops better, and the ac cools better... and no leaks... So, yes I do recommend this place for your Power Stroke Diesel...I haven't towed my approximately 9k# boat to see how the trans cooler does up a long steep grade in the hot summer yet, to see if the new bigger trans cooler helps. After doing a lot of refresh research about diesel engines, I learned/was reminded the CP4 fuel pump is crap! As I had my fuel filters replaced and some engine bright work done, David contacted me and said he had found metal shavings & glitter in one of my fuel filters. I authorized them to swap out the old with the new, S & S Diesel, DCR Fuel Pump. Boom! Installed without incident by Cody & that pump is bad to the bone! You really notice the difference between stock & aftermarket!! Do not wait! Get that thing swapped out, like I did, prior to failure! I got a good, fair, honest price on the work performed and that has always been my experience. Cody & David are out of this world with their craft! All they work on are Ford, diesels!! After finding a safe place to park and calling my insurance company USAA who contacted Agero, Clinton was dispatched. He called to check in with me, and informed me that the place USAA or Agero had selected to send my car was a tire shop that was closed for the day. He informed me that there was a small repair shop actually within the parking lot, or if I wanted to get service that was covered by my car warranty, I should ask USAA and Agero to change my towing location to the Valley Hi Kia dealership, and that they lock the gates at night (it was 6pm), so I should schedule the tow for the morning. I highly recommend Clinton. He is a kind, honest, and hard worker. He will give you an honest assessment, and strives to do what is right. Plus, he is quick and efficient at towing cars.

If you're really looking for somebody, that's going to dig deep into diagnosing your vehicle correctly and making sure the right things get taken care of. I was originally bringing my truck in for what I thought was going to be a $3000 bill after talking to the dealer and Darren and Jimmy took the time to properly diagnose and get everything done correctly and it is only going to be a $600 bill. I've had two other mechanics told me they wouldn't take a look at my truck because they didn't want to tear down the engine to find the actual problem. He treats you like family and I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.
