I took my car to replace a water pipe to Stallion Auto in Beaumont ,ca, the owner his name Omar he said will cost me $450 then after two days the car wasn't done he said he's gonna charge $1300 because he have to change the thermostat the housing some pipes ( I told him the had water leak )and the fan and charges me $1300. The car still didn't work right the car went worse instead of leaking become overheating and get worse. He couldn't fix it. He had the car in his shop for almost a month and then,He asked me to take it to mini dealership to check it And he will pay the $250 for the dealership the dealership they said the car need to change everything on it because the mechanical haven't changed nothing ( he double charged me for the housing and thermostat) I asked for my money back he promised to give me back and then he refused and he been going back-and-forth for two months. I'm trying to get my money back. I spent over $2000 on the car and the mechanic owe me $1300 for a job he didn't do or accomplished and the car got worst, he will charge me for the housing with thermostat. UPDATE Beyond responding to one post of a review placed on multiple platforms, requesting the review to be removed, Inner-City Auto Repair & Tires (now renamed as Prime Time Auto) has done nothing to right the wrong done to my vehicle under their care and do right by this particular customer. Against my better judgement, yet in the spirit of hoping for the best, I acquiesced to their request to have my vehicle brought back so they could assess the situation in detail. All that they have done is confirm the damage resulting from the shotty work done by placing a junk used motor with conflicting warranty information they have no intention of honoring and correcting. The "parts dealer" of THEIR choosing, according to their words, offers a 6-mos. warranty, via phone they told their own labor warranty is 9-mos., yet their own invoice says 12-mos. No matter the number, this motor failed well within the max. parameters. Their warranty and office reps offered no assistance with tow to and from their business, no car rental assistance to aid in the hardship this situation has created, no partial refund, and in the end essentially "passed the buck" recommending it be taken to the dealership for correction. Due to the irreparable damage caused by the install of the junk motor, the dealership offered video of the diagnostic and a BRAND NEW overall repair for $1000 LESS than Prime Time Auto did less than 12-mos. ago. As mentioned before I have asked and given them the opportunity to be honorable and at the very least offer a partial refund on the failed and overpriced parts & labor provided and at every chance they have skirted responsibility and failed to show respectable actions over empty words even going as far as avoiding and dodging follow-up phone calls in the most unprofessional fashion (all follow-up phone calls came from effort on my part, not the other way around.) Josh and his guys at Prime Time did an amazing job. I was checking out a used car nearby and was in a last minute rush to find a mechanic who could do a Pre-purchase inspection. Josh answered all of my questions and went into detail about what the inspection would entail, and was very patient when I had to keep changing the meetup time. Is it possible to give a -STAR review? I called ahead to simply get the stem on my tire fixed at the END OF THE DAY (4-5pm), and they said "sure come on down." I get down there, NPC behind the counter remembers me, remembers telling me they could fix my tire, and looks me dead in the eye and says "we don't fix tires after 3pm." Then I said "Can I leave it?" These guys should really be named Inner-city Angels, true story! On the way to my daughter's graduation traveling to the next state, engine light came on. I pulled up to Inner-city not knowing what to expect, within 5 minutes they had someone working on my car. Unfortunately I needed a major engine repair and had to get the car towed, Omar did not charge me for looking at the engine, helped me locate an auto rental store and also got on the phone and got through to the actual rental shop which took over a half hour! I was sitting there with my family a full car waiting on a tow and a replacement car. He really took care of me and didn't charge,just helped in a hectic situation. A big thank you to Inner City Garage! These guys are great if I lived in Beaumont they would be my new shop lol! We all deal with auto shops and service people all too often most of these guys are charging you a fee just to talk to you look at your car shake your hand LOL it's good to see people who still do business in the traditional way with respect and care for the customer. I am going to state the pros and cons of this place. Josh is a sweet and charming fellow. Hes handsome too. He's more than polite and I enjoy dealing with him. He gave us a great price to change our thermostat due to a scan done revealing we may have to replace it. So he offered to give that service to us if we paid cash and went down there right away. SO we did Great! I guess he told my husband that there was something going on with the power steering? We never had any issues indicating that at all.. Well when we got our car back our hood shocks were broken and we didn't appreciate that. Were not blaming Josh at all. I think his mechanic is downright crooked! Within 2 days our power steering, rocker arm and belt all came off as if it was sabotaged! We were also charged for a lift support? That came to $1650.00 We also paid for the brake light due to the cruise control going out..The thermostat and brake light came to total of 488.47 Hrmmm this is getting downright fishy! After the thermostat, one thing after another was falling apart! So 2 really dumb bad mistakes happened. We went to smog the car after paying 1650 for the whole power steering nightmare and it failed smog.. Josh showed me the scan came out clean and he even went to bat for us with the smog guy. We really appreciated that.. we had to take it back to Josh for a deeper investigation of why it wasn't passing. The mechanic down there only relied on the scan tool and didn't actually look at the car at all. They found 3 things all related to evap codes. OK....They also informed us that the alternator was about to go out.. WHAT???!! Ok so for all three oxygen emission issues for smog failure plus a new alternator issue he wanted an additional 2600.00 So all those codes that the scan tool was making? It turned out to be a gas cap not screwed on tightly. The alternator? My husband turned the headlight knob and left the lights on.... As soon as I turned that gas cap and heard it "click" I drove down to Murrieta and back and Boom no more failed smog or check engine light! I have passed smog, may car hasn't died the alternator is FINE.. I notice they advertise a lot in the local senior citizen communities and magazines and I not feeling very good about it. Seniors can get overwhelmed and its easy to manipulate them. I found a great mechanic that told me it was a gas cap issue down at Jasso in banning on ramsey across from where Dad n sons used to be. While I adore Josh and hes so handsome sounding on the phone, that mechanic needs to go back to school or be fired. Sorry! read more

DO NOT COME HERE! I'd give this place 0 stars if I could. They did NOT properly do the tune up that they were supposed to. When they finished "fixing" my car ( for nearly a price gouging $500 by the way), I drove it off the lot and noticed it had a small rattle. But because it was minor and not major as it was when I brought it in, I assumed it was because my car is old, (it's a 1997 however it runs wonderfully). Then soon after (2 months later) my car stopped in the middle of the road, (when I pushed on the gas pedal it would not move). I called Inner city and spoke with JACOB asking him to rectify the matter because I asked them to do a FULL DIAGNOSTIC and fix whatever needed to be fixed (the only thing I told them not to fix was minor and wasn't important, I only declined that because it would have cost me nearly $650). He refused! And said "I can bring the car in if I want to do another diagnostic test, and identify the new issues". There are NO NEW ISSUES, THE ISSUE IS THAT THEY DIDN'T FIX IT RIGHT THE FIRST TIME! In other words he's saying that I'm gonna have to pay for the repairs. His attitude was HORRIBLE and dismissive. Then I called AAA and told him the repair shop I went to which is INNER CITY AUTO REPAIR, and he said "oooh, I've heard a lot of bad reports about them". The AAA guy told me to pull my car up to the back of his truck, but I couldn't because my car started but when you push on the gas it doesn't move. He asked me to lift up my hood (he works on cars himself). He said "looks like it's just a TUNE UP issue." Then he looked at my wires and said " They should have tightened these when they gave you the tuneup." He pushed down on the wires and said, "now press on you gas" AND MY CAR RAN PERFECTLY WITH NO RATTLE! The AAA guy even spoke to Jacob again for me to tell him what the issue was, and Jacob gave him a bad attitude refusing to take my car back to fix what he should've already done, for free. So the AAA recommended a GREAT auto shop to me that even he uses. They do honest work with great prices. And I agree because they fixed the issues inner city auto should have with absolutely NO RATTLE.. DO NOT COME HERE!If you are looking for honest, skilled, and reliable mechanics and owner.... DO NOT COME HERE! Go to Jasso auto repair right up the street, they have better prices and mechanics with HONEST INTEGRAL service. read more

We pulled into inner city auto repair on our way out to Parker from riverside due to my car shaking and the engine light turning on. I can not say how amazing the workers are there! I walked up and Josh and Ryan immediately asked how they could help me and my husband. Told them we were headed out for Father's Day weekend with our kiddo and told them what was going on with our car. They got to working on it RIGHT AWAY. (The vehicles they had there were going to be there the whole weekend). Turns out I had a misfire and needed new spark plugs.
