However, it's true, he's an outlaw in the automotive world simply because he's not like any other shop or mechanic whose goal it is to overcharge and under service. Kevin can't stand the way automotive shops double or triple the price of parts and charge outrageous amounts for work to be done. While I was quoted anywhere from $1500-$900 by multiple other shops, Kevin helped me my own brand new parts for half the cost, he came to my home and made the repairs in less than three hours for a fair and sensible hourly rate. He sincerely wants to help get your repairs done at a reasonable cost. I knew that Redline was just a couple miles away so we went there and explained our problem. Being so late in the day and week they couldn't work on it right then but offered to go get it so it wouldn't be sitting out by itself all night/weekend. We soon received a call from them that the key sensor had gone bad and it would take a day to replace as they had to order one. The next day we went there and they asked to see our other key to the vehicle. With that key it started right up! Seems the key fob itself had gone bad.
