However, it's true, he's an outlaw in the automotive world simply because he's not like any other shop or mechanic whose goal it is to overcharge and under service. Kevin can't stand the way automotive shops double or triple the price of parts and charge outrageous amounts for work to be done. While I was quoted anywhere from $1500-$900 by multiple other shops, Kevin helped me my own brand new parts for half the cost, he came to my home and made the repairs in less than three hours for a fair and sensible hourly rate. He sincerely wants to help get your repairs done at a reasonable cost. I go get my tire gauge and test the tire myself at home. It was, in fact, 10 psi down. I take my truck back to them and they informed me they wouldnt have time to get to it today. So shady. Just go down the road to Discount Tire, they happily helped me without being shady. Side note, both times I entered the business both guys seemed annoyed a customer walked in.

I had a friend of mines who is a mechanic verify the information and he said none of it was necessary. So I ended up spending more than I needed to on something that was unnecessary. Adding insult to injury, the oil did not need changing as the previous owner had recently changed the oil. Upselling to women is so disrespectful. Upselling to older women is even more disrespectful. I'm glad I had a friend tell me I didn't need all that stuff. I would have been out of over 1k.

The comprehensive inspection was thorough and found several issues such as a need for new wipers, filters, spark plugs, & rear brake pads. The digital inspection, that was sent via a text message to me, had photos of some of the defective items that needed replacing. I also received a phone call to describe the repair recommendations and the cost (parts + labor) for each one. All the work was done in 1 day, and the Derby location was convenient. They repaired my broken tailgate on my truck. They fixed an AC leak on the Truck. My Service engine soon light came on and I took it to them and they changed my oil and cleared the code for about 75 bucks. They didn't make up anything but just fixed what needed to be fixed.
