Terry got a quote for the work together, and had the work completed the next day. After driving the truck for a few days, I was disappointed to see the engine light come back on. I was worried it might be the same problem with the transmission as before. Dropped by Terry's shop and they read the engine code for free. I was happy to see it was an unrelated problem. Terry also took the time to explain a few things about the transmission to me. Overall the service was excellent and Terry and his staff are very knowledgeable. Hopefully I won't have problems again with my transmission, but if I do I'll take it to Terry's.

The guy who was going to repair the key ignition, called me if I would like to get a used part instead of a new one and I totally agreed because the cost was much less than the new one. The mechanics were excellent at that time. However, something happened a few years ago as the people changed. Prices went up quickly and it made me feel the recent change of employees was the issue. The last time I went there, I had an oil leak - after the oil change. I told them about it, had to take it back and they said it was not an oil leak and all they had to do was tighten up the lid. However, when I took my car to another auto shop to clean the headlights, they found an oil leak. They fixed it and did it the right way. This particular incident made it clear to me that Yost had no intention of fixing my vehicle correctly. That made me very angry as I spent thousands of dollars in the past. I have stopped going there. I would never recommend their services to anyone.

He said they…read morewould run a diagnostic and check all the systems as well as repair the problem I brought it in for. I informed the person at the counter that I had no intention of repairing anything else on such an old vehicle and that I was aware there were numerous problems. Never was I told I would be charged for the diagnostic whether I used the shops services or not. I've only ever been charged when I did not use their services at any business. I'm happy to pay for someone's time and efforts when I do not choose to use their business for needed services. I have never been charged when I have it would have been nice to have been told I was going to be charged $100 either way.
