I asked Alex if he could smooth it out a bit so that I could at least get my lawn tractor/mower one strip along the driveway without risk of tumbling down the side. He not only did that, but FAR BEYOND AND ABOVE ,AND FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE 20 YEARS I'VE LIVED HERE I WILL BE ABLE TO KEEP IT LOOKING TRULY NEAT. He not only leveled beside the driveway ONE width (mower deck is 42"), but nearly 3! I did not think that was even possible without dumptruck-loads-full of dirt. He worked only with the dirt that was there. He also tremendously decreased the steep parts that I can't manage. I know those will go back to goldenrod, blackberries, and wild aster (which are lovely!), but that's OK - I have OVER 6 feet of level ground that will be easy to mow. Two days later, he came back and seeded grass/spread straw, despite a TERRIBLY hot morning. His rates were EXTREMELY reasonable. He is prompt, polite, and very pleasant to talk to and work with. Also, he had earlier helped me with bracing some sagging fenceposts. The wire fence there is so tight now, you can practically pluck musical notes from it! Again, his rates were EXCELLENT. HE LEAVES NO MESS - I have horses - he left NOT ONE nail or staple or screw after he worked on the fence. When I figure out how to post pic's, I will do so. I could not possibly recommend him more highly. I will refer ANY one to him.
