Verizon could not repair and does not offer refurbs anymore... they said I'm entitled to an "upgrade" and wanted to sell me a new phone for upfront tax of $180 and payments that would amount to $600 over a two year period. (what kind of upgrade "benefit" is that?) I said, no thanks. Went straight to Digital Fix - and man, did they take care of me! They explained why that particular model phone is difficult to repair without cracking the glass... they'd give it a try but it's risky and then would be almost the cost of a new phone to repair. I decided to get a new/used phone. They miracuously managed to charge my broken phone, get my content out - install it into a temporary cell that I can use until I purchase a used phone online for like $250 - $300... quite a savings! I visited Digital Fix today to repair my iPhone which had a black screen, and stopped working. The gentleman who worked there was SO knowledgeable and helpful! He fixed my phone within an hour, and even took the time to explain some details about the prior screen, which I had "fixed" ( replaced ) by a similar company which was also located in Fairfield. (The other store sold me a sub-par new screen, and had charged me a great deal more...and it took half a day to repair) . We had a great experience here. Went in for a screen repair for iPhone 8 Plus and it only took 45 minutes! The only complaint I have is that it was $180, which seemed very expensive. However, he was very knowledgeable and assured that they were using the best materials and anywhere else where it was cheaper would use bad materials from China. Also, the tempered glass screen protector was only $10 so that was very good. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place. read more

Not only did Nick diagnose the problem, but he did a simple (but thorough) cleaning, which proved sufficient. Saved me what would have been $60 to replace the jack.
