With the exception of a few employees, the associates give you wrong or misleading information. They are either improperly trained, lack basic knowledge, unable to answer the simplest questions, have the information confused, or willfully mislead the customer, for the company's gain. This store has a suspiciously high turnover rate. The employees come and go like a revolving door. More often then not, do not trust the smile behind the counter. Whatever information they give you, confirm it will other sources. This can be done primarily, by calling customer service at 611 and "googling" some of your questions and concerns. The management is almost non existent at this store. You have been warned. I recommend the location at Ulmerton and Seminole Blvd. This store appears to be operating more functually.

Chris is truly a pleasure to work with, and has never let us down. It's not often that you find a vendor who not only knows their area well, but can explain various options in layman's terms that a non-technician can understand. It's refreshing to be able to let Chris know what we want to do, and let him come up with the most efficient and cost effective way to actually do it. Whenever we need new equipment or new components, he always comes through with exactly the products we need at an excellent price point. As a project manager, I work with a multitude of vendors on a daily basis. Chris is truly an exception to the norm and will always have our communications business.

Our business has had a persistent phone issue for the past year and a half. The issue has been OK for a few months but recently came back with a vengeance. Not only did the Tampa Bay Telephone folks come out for a look at the issue on short notice, they also came back the following day on very short notice to work with the phone company tech on getting the issue resolved the right way! More importantly, they explained what was causing the issue, so I have a high degree of confidence that it won't return, now that I know what was causing it. This is just one experience, but the Tampa Bay Telephone crew were professional, honest, and willing to work with me to actually find the root of the problem, which is something that I've practically begged the phone company to let me give them money to do. Less than $70 later and the problem is fixed. I should've called Tampa Bay Telephone a year and a half ago!

We got ourselves some new unlocked iPhones and decided to try one of their new promotions. This…read morelocation is in a strip center at Clearwater Mall. It's the same one that Yogurt Mountain and Starbucks is in facing Gulf to Bay Blvd. We were quickly greeted and within about 5 minutes we were being helped. Not to actually give out our ages but we signed up for their 'Unlimited 55+' plan. It has 2 lines for $60/month. The plan has unlimited talk, text and DATA! It does require that you use a credit card or bank account for AutoPay. No contract. No problem! We are grandfathered (no pun intended) into this plan in perpetuity. Everyone that we met was friendly and helpful. Chris set up our accounts and he was clearly a veteran of cellphone activation. From start to finish, we were only in there for about 30 minutes. I couldn't be more pleased. I highly recommend T-Mobile and this location in particular.
