I found this business on Yelp when I was in a panic because I broke the screen on my laptop. it was listed as ScrewBox at the time. The front of the business is listed with their new name too, "iCustom." At first,I Iooked pass this business. I didn't need to have a business name to tell me I am screwed. I had to look back at the business because it had 5 stars and really great reviews. Well, I am adding another 5-star rating to this business only because I can't do 6-stars. I use my laptop when working from home and you can imagine how I felt when I cracked my screen and the only thing I could see after that was the crack. TIP: Don't press hard on your screen when cleaning it, and don't try to clean it while it is up facing you. Lay it down with the screen flat on the table, then wipe GENTLY. I mean it GENTLY! Anyway, I needed to get it fixed because I was in the middle of a project and everything was on my laptop. I read the ScrewBox website and it allowed you to write to them in a CHAT type box, to get an estimate for repairs. It guaranteed a response within 20 minutes, and they did. They responded with a really reasonable rate, and I jumped in my car and went there. Since I am writing this review on that same laptop you can guess how happy I am with their work. Valentine (he pronounces it "Valenteen") handled my problem and told me the proper way to clean the screen. (see TIP above) I hope I spelled his name correctly. They also have refurbished computers, laptops, and cellphones there for sale. If you ever have any laptop issues, go to iCustom first. Forget that "G" Squad" place. Don't forget, ScrewBox is now iCustom, and I don't think they will let down with their service and workmanship. read more

I am a ships Captain and my phone is critical to my work. In 30 years of cell phones, I finally cracked the screen making the phone unusable. They close normally at 7 and I was calling at 6:30. I explained my situation and replied to come as quickly as a could and they would wait. I jumped in my van and drove over right away. Lovely lady that works here. I had my cell screen fixed"", 2 months later my screen started turning colors. I can't operate the screen at all, and it runs hot. I took it in and the person there told me a tiny scratch scene under the microscope was the problem. I think it's BS. I took heavy precaution after paying over $100 for a replacement screen. By purchasing a shatter proof phone case, I never dropped it. There wasnt enough csr or not enough knowledge about the phone to resolve my issue. They should have said NO, we cant fix it. Leaving me to purchase another phone and without communication until I do. This company didn't work for me. read more

I called iCustom to ask when I could come in to have them fix it, but instead they helped me troubleshoot the problem and they fixed it over the phone for no charge. I had a broken screen and camera on my iPhone Xs due to a nasty drop. I replaced the screen with something from amazon thinking that would do the trick but I was wrong, I should've left it to the professionals. They replaced the screen for me in under 30 minutes but the camera module inside was also broken. The owner called the other shop and they had a camera in stock over there so he asked me to come back when it arrived. I did, the owner fixed it again, and I left with everything in tact. Theyre true to their motto, "We can fix anything you can break." I highly recommend this shop to anybody with broken hardware. LCD is slow, glitchy, laggy. Owner says any purchase has a Warranty, not true. The associate seemed to have an under the table deal with me.
