Stay away from Rosa in the women's department if you can. She was horrible to me today. Never again to Dillard's. Plenty of other stores that have been courteous and helpful before. read more

I was in the store twice this week. I had to search for help in women's clothes upstairs and to find an open checkout. At one point my arms were full of clothes and no one offered a dressing room. The next day no one offered help in shoes even though the store was nearly empty and the salespeople were just standing around. This is why people might as well shop online. I did find a dress and shoes but I was very disappointed in the lack of customer service. read more

Taylor in shoes helped my girlfriend out with an outfit for a banquet. He went above and beyond to make sure she was taken care of. He found her exactly what she was looking for when it came to shoes and dresses. Guys this guy is professional and takes care of people without trying to sell the highest priced items. read more

the women's store, which is the original complete store before they split them up, is absolutely a cluster f**k. The upstairs is soooo disorganized in my opinion. It's almost makes me dizzy. My mom used to work for Dillards and I had that store memorized. I absolutely hate to go there unless it is for shoes, lingerie, or cosmetics. read more

Charles in the men's suits is exceptional. He will do whatever it takes to get you properly outfitted, and will cover every department to do so if necessary. Dillard's in Amarillo is my go-to for top-shelf clothing, bedding, kitchenware, and Christmas decor. It's worth the price you pay. read more

Dillards's is THE department store in the Amarillo area. Sure they don't specialize in anything really, but they have something for all shapes and sizes. I had a "nice slacks" emergency and i was terrified of the prospect of only having an afternoon in Amarillo to find them. Dillard's had a great selection of petites and short lengths so I bought 2 "just in case". The staff was pretty nice, not quite as aloof as Macy's, not quite as in your face as nordstroms. I'd go back for any kind of clothing/shoe requirements as they seem well stocked in things that are basic and mostly un-tacky. read more

Terrible customer service. I've been there a few times for the past months because for some reason my mom wants to buy a couple of things there. One of those times I was looking for a nice sun dress, and took a couple through a few departments and my sister did too, when we were ready to try them on the sales associate that was close to that fitting room didn't say hi or anything and just looked mad at us. My sister finished before me and told me that she asked the lady where to leave the dresses that she didn't want and the lady told her that she needed to put them downstairs. I work in a department store and we never ask the customers to put the items back in their place! Even though we have way more stuff to do. None of the associates have greet us except for the ladies in the beauty department that more than greeting attack to get us to sign up for the card. In a different occasion, my mom bought a couple of purses and the lady in that department was just sitting behind the register, not doing anything and when we stepped in she looked annoyed, she didn't talk to us or say thank you at the end, my mom and I did and then she did. I think everything they sell is cheaper anywhere else, so if they overprice their items they should at least have great customer service!! I don't know if every department has that kind of apathetic people but I've shopped all over misses, including accessories and shoes and haven't found a single friendly associate. read more
