OK, so Dillards is just hands-down my favorite department store. I love the store. They're beautiful clothing and when you catch a sale, they have great deals love love love Dillards. I always tell everybody Dillards!! I'll wear a lot of Ralph Lauren jewelry from the jewelry counter and people always compliment me on my jewelry but I do wear other brands as well but they always compliment me and also on Antonio Milano whenever I wear those clothes people always oh wow that's so sharp. I generally don't shop at Dillard's at CoolSprings Galleria, However, out of chance, luck and a deal on robes, I decided to gift wrap the item I purchased. Heading to the Customer Service counter, there's only one individual back there, it was Don. His Customer Service skills were off the charts. He was extremely kind and just awesome. I will never go anywhere else for shoes! I went to the Dillard's in Cool Springs today in a hurry to find the perfect shoes for my engagement shoot. Right when I walked in, I was promptly greeted. The Salesperson I worked with, Irene, was knowledgeable, kind and very attentive. She informed me on the right things to look for in fit and comfort, and was such a joy to work with! I would like to compliment Jesse Keller in the "Free People" clothing department for her assistance last month. I purchased an item from another area of the store and Jesse was at the register in the Free People section and assisted me with my purchase. I mentioned that I really liked another blouse that was on sale but not in my size. She checked the system and found it available at another store. She arranged for it to be sent to my home and honored the sale price. She truly went above and beyond to help me! read more

This is the best Dillard's in Tennessee. They have a great selection and have helpful staff. The store is HUGE! Their clearance deals are hard to beat. If you sign up for a Dillard's credit card, cardholders get access to the sales before the general public. The do not carry maternity clothes but have just about any other type of apparel one would need. Their handbag and shoe selection is great! They also carry A LOT of Eileen Fisher products. read more

I absolutely love to shop at Dillards, especially when they are having a sale. I went today and it was 40% off the clearance prices. Wow! I found some bargains! Dillards end of the year sale sucks! Everything is over priced and not worth it. I don't know what happened but a couple of years ago Dillards use to have really good sales on really good stuff. As I walked in the door as I walk through the whole men's Department. One older gentleman spoke to me everybody else looked at me like I was a alien. So I went and found a shirt that I want to buy Murano... deals collection of Murano shirts go from size small up to XL. That's it! I waited for the gentleman that spoke to me to come back around and we talked for a couple of seconds. He asked if he could order the shirt for me in a 2X. I had a very positive experience here. I came here looking for a new bra because I've pretty much outgrown all of mine. I've had very large breasts since I was in 8th grade so shopping for bras is always a headache for me because I am still very young and everything I see is grandma type bras. The lady who helped me was very nice and helpful, she found me a bra I loved immediately. And it fit perfectly. While wandering around with the hubby, we encountered a miracle by the name of Chris Kelley, Men's Brand Manager in mens clothing. We were trying to find a "dressy-casual look" (grown-up man clothing), which is something he is neither accustomed to or comfortable with. In less than 30 minutes Mr. Kelley guessed my husbands pant size and put together a casual, classy outfit perfect, for the occasion for which we were shopping. I'm not usually a department store girl, but I was starting a new job and needed a few work appropriate pieces. I didn't find anything for that purpose, but I did find a few cute pieces for my honeymoon (less than two weeks away). This Dillard's is clean and pretty well organized. An employee in the women's clothing section was helpful and brought me additional sizes to try on. I don't think I'm ever going to be a real lover of department stores (too big, too much stuff, overwhelming to this non-shopper), but this Dillard's isn't bad. read more

I walked into Dillard's in the Cool Springs mall to buy my nephew some shoes. When I walked into the kids shoe (toddler and baby shoes) department, the two girls working in the department completely ignored mine and my fiance's existence and continued their conversation over our heads about how they weren't happy with their pay. Only been here once. I was in desperate need of a suit (starting a new job) and Macy's was a HUGE disappointment - that is another story. Anyway, I shopped online, identified a beautiful Calvin Klein suit and called to make sure my size was in stock. OMG! I called 7, yes, SEVEN times before I got a salesperson. The operator kept transferring me to extensions where people would answer and hang-up, I would be disconnected or the phone would ring and ring. I was just about to give up, when I requested a manager. Finally, a live person! She was short, unfriendly but identified that they did have my suit and would hold it for me until the end of the day. I reluctantly went (driving 30 minutes to get to this store) into the store and was met by the nicest salesperson, absolutely fabulous (shout out to Kathy in the Women's Department) - Kathy was very attentive, checking on me in the dressing room, exchanging items for different sizes, making wonderful suggestions and offering to order items they did not have in stock. Her service reminded me of a high-end store on Michigan Avenue in Chicago! Good times, good times...I digress... To my surprise, they still were holding my suit (a day later). This Dillard's had a wonderful suit selection for curvy women - and they dont look like suits my grandmother would wear to a funeral or church revival. I will return for more suits and to visit my friend, Kathy! She is the bomb - definitely ask for her! I would give them 5 stars but calling in was a fiasco! read more

Chanel Counter-I approached the counter and everyone was busy. When Fatina approached me at the counter I asked to try a gloss, she went to get an applicator and saw a customer she knew and started up a conversation as I am waiting for the tester. She returned but continued her conversation with the other client. I decided on my color, a gold made my purchase and left. A few hours later I went to use my new gloss but realized it was a pink shade, not what chosen. I am now upset that I have to return the gloss which this store is 45 minutes away from me. I purchased my wedding shoes here this weekend! Although the store was busy, the sales person was very attentive and helped us very efficiently. I love Jo Malone candles. Had I not already been fan of the brand however, I would not have purchased one from this store. The associate was rude and haughty. He snubbed me when I asked if the store also carried Diptyque candles and asked "What's that?" When I explained it was candle and fragrance brand he again snubbed me and asked who carried it. To which I replied "Nordstrom, Neimen Marcus and Harrods." He was nicer then but still rude to my friends. I hope he doesn't act that way daily. It was extremely unattractive and definitely doesn't represent the brand well at all. I wish I had asked his name. read more

I don't normally review stores, but I had to based on our experience with Dillard's at Cool Springs! So my husband and I got married a year ago and did a wedding registry with Dillard's. We registered for a set of really expensive sheets ($120). Not thinking anyone would buy them for us! Well we did get them and I was so excited to have a really nice set of sheets...we didn't pull them out until about 6 months ago and since only used them probably 5-6 times. Well in the process of washing our sheets they did not wear well. After the first couple of washes they started balling up really bad and I was upset because these were very expensive sheets! We joked that maybe we should take them back a year later to see if they could just give us a new set and try it again..... Well to make a long story short they took them back 1 YEAR later! They said that we need to be happy with our purchases and they were able to pull up or wedding registry to see they were in fact purchased from the registry. They don't carry that specific brand any longer so the gentleman said you have $120 and feel free to get what you want with that! So not only did we get a nice new set of sheets we were able to get other items we needed! After we had found what we wanted we still had $5 left! There was this candle I wanted but didn't want to spend almost $20 on a small candle just to use up a $5 credit...so the lady that took over our sell from the gentleman said I'll give it to you for the $5 since you had to go through this trouble of having bad sheets! WOW!!! I didn't think such great customer service existed any longer! They have just made 2 loyal customers from us! Props to Cool Springs Dillard's! read more

I just went by Dillards customer service. The very negative women working there informed me that if I wanted to gift wrap it would take an hour and looked at me waiting for me to say no never mind. I said OK I'll go ahead and pay the six dollars to have it gift wrapped. Then they informed me that because I did not buy the gift at Dillard's, because they don't sell it there. Bought two pairs of shoes at Dillards today. In most stores I turn invisible the sales associate at Dillards was just the right degree of helpful he was there when I needed him and backed off while I was in my just looking mode. The shoes one of which were on sale at half off are ultra comfortable. Most of these reviews are really about sales people and store policies. I purchased a Sharing Spree to Dillard's as a little treat to myself during the holidays. Although they did not have enourmous Black Friday sales like the rest of the mall, I was able to find some good deals. I purchased two work shirts and a pair of really fun Spanx tights for the winter. What made up for the higher price tag was the really helpful sales staff, who went around the department store finding exactly what I was looking for in my price range. They made me feel comfortable and definitely maximized my time. If you are looking for higher-end clothing with excellent service, this is where you want to be. read more

So this was my first time to the cool springs mall, and let me start off by saying it was my favorite experience. It's better than green hills, which is really expensive. And has more stores than opry. It's a little further than I prefer what what're you gonna do? I loved the mall but the Dillard's department store ruined my experience. Allow me to just put it out there; I have anxiety. I love makeup, so I rushed to that section immediately with my boyfriend. The lady at the Anastasia Beverly Hills counter offered help but I just wanted to look so I declined. She kept kind of circling me. But i knew she was just doing her job. We walked to a different brand and they offered to check me out, but I wasn't done so I declined. They kept offering help and I had to keep declining. They were like vultures. We noticed that there was an older lady not at a specific counter and we figured she was like a district manager or something and she asked if someone was helping me. I said I'm okay and she ran to the Anastasia employee and got on to her. I felt horrible and the girl came and tried to sell something to me. My chest and throat started getting tight and felt like I was gonna have an anxiety attack. even my boyfriend agreed they were all over us. We put the products down and left. read more
