I visited the Cool Springs White House Black Market store today. I purchased a pair of jeans that shrunk after washing in cold water they were hung to dry. ORTENE was working. She was the RUDEST and a Miss know it all sales person I have ever encountered anywhere in my lifetime. She said I needed a larger, asked me to go in the dressing room to try on the jeans I was returning. I decided it was best to leave the store with my refund in hand. I will never visit the Cool Springs store if she's Working. I've shopped at Green Hills for years without ever a incident. Whatever happened to the customer is always right. I was just running in for a quick "look see" but ended up with a pair of jeans, capris and a cute little skirt! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ok I started this review in July and never finished it, so I'll make this brief so I can finally post this thing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bottom line is we need this store. There is a serious void of petite clothing in the Franklin and Brentwood areas (and probably Nashville too) and White House Black Market is one of the few places that have it. I hate to schlep myself into a mall, I just really do. So, for me, that pretty much rules out any of the department stores. Back when I used to enjoy shopping at the mall, the department stores seemed to only have really dowdy, frumpy old-lady clothes...as if the only short people are old ladies! humph! I shop at WHBM a LOT. Mostly online but this store is the closet to my house. I usually find the employes to be very helpful and I know a lot of them on sight. Though today I went in and I didn't find them all that welcoming but I don't recall ever seeing either of them before. This place is expensive. There is no doubt about it. But the clothes are good quality and classy. The employes like helping you find things to match. I love their jeans the most. read more

So DiSAPPOINTED! I'd normally give one of my favorite stores in the entire world five stars, but I'm taking three stars off for the SUPER-BIOTCH that there saleslady was to me today. I went in there with my Mom and we were both dressed in sweats after a slamming, horrid week at work. Ms. Thing goes "Hello, ladies, looking for a new . Fall. Looook?" in her most snide voice. Well, I was, honee, but I won't be buying it here. I've been busy at work all week earning more $$ than you, frankly, and I didn't feel like dressing up to go to the mall after all that pressure, I can barely keep my eyes open. I usually shop online, and I was congratulating myself for trying on clothes in person. Well it's back to online shopping for me, you PSYCHO! I LOVE WHBM! LOVE!! BUT-This Cool Springs is WORST WHBM store EVER! I've always had bad luck w/ customer service there...Today in desperate need for a dress, I decided to go in there thinking maybe they'll be nicer.. there was no other customer in the store..4 sales females standing around the counter-NOT ONE-came to ask me how I was or if I needed any help. This review is entirely based on a customer service experience. I'm not a huge fan of WHBM clothes but knew I needed a particular dress. I called in and Emily picked up the phone and located the item and said she'd hold it for me. I soon after went in to try on the dress and she was super friendly, efficient and remembered my call. She was helpful but not pushy when I tried it on and made great conversation with me -- not forced and insincere, like other women I've experienced at these sorts of stores. I ended up buying the dress but really enjoyed Emily's quality service and friendly conversation...so much that I was inspired to write a review! read more

I LOVE LOVE LOVE WHBM!! Ive been a loyalty costumor for a long time, their collection is so beautiful, classy, elegant and simple, whenever you come to the store the employees are really nice, helpful and will suggest you many different style options! The last time i went was to buy a pair of jeans, and their new jeans collection are just soooo comfortable, i ended up buying 4 pairs ( it was buy one get 50% off the second one! ) and few of sales items. The other thing i love about WHBM is, they always been treating their costumer, with thank you note, birthday coupons, rewards gift cards, and more coupons! :p One thing i hate about my last shopping was, the sales associate that helping was such a horrible person, she was too pushy, rushing me, following me around, made jokes that was NOT even funny! She was super nice when i tried on some expensive dresses, and telling me how i look so cute on those dresses, (i didn't buy any dress at the time) and when i was ready to pay, she had no smile whatsoever, and only said 'thank you' and then turned around and left while i was still standing there trying to grab my bag. UGHHHH ! She tried too hard and annoyed me so much to get the sales, but then turned to be a b**ch when i didn't buy what she suggested. I never had such a bad experience shop there before. Btw, her name is TINA, she's a tall, skinny, and blonde, so whenever you go there, dont let her help you, ask someone else to help you.
