I received the best customer service from the shoe department at this location! Everyone should shop with Alysha she's the best!!

This review is ONLY for the shoe department. The staff and the management suck. I purchased a pair of shoes on clearance without a box from Dillards at Frisco and needed to return them. I headed to Firewheel since its closer to me and they refused to return it cause it was without a box, even though the yellow sticker was there. I went back to Dillards at Frisco and told them what happened to me and they said this is not true, Dillards do sell shoes without boxes and accept to return them too as long as they're unworn, with yellow sticker, and within 3 days (clearance policy). Same thing happened when I bought a pair from Northpark unboxed, Firewheel refused to return it. I went to north park and returned it with no questions asked. The shoe staff at Firewheel lie. They say they do not sell shoes without a box but they do. I bought once a pair of shoes also on clearance unboxed from there. I just can't understand why they lie for that. read more

We just went into Dillard's to purchase some school uniforms for our daughter. What we found was a nice selection of uniforms but not many of the size in which we needed. When we were purchasing them at checkout we inquired about the possibility of getting more of the size we needed. The clerk stated we could have them sent to our house or at the store. We opted to have them sent to the store since it is close to my wife's work. While the clerk was placing the order it kept bring up shipping cost. We thought that by coming to the store that would not. E correct . After the clerk tried many times she asked for a manager . It was at that time he explained their policy or poor business plan. He stated that they are trying to encourage people to shop on line which requires shipping and a Dillard card. He also stated that they do charge for shipping to also have something to come to the store but stated that they get shipments in on Tuesday and if we wanted to come back we could check to see if that size came in. My wife asked if they could request the size we need in their shipment and he stated no it is a standard order and they get what they get This makes me thing customer experience is not considered and the business plan is forcing us to go to amazon which we did at the same price and free shipping Use to love Dillard's read more

went in today 2 buy some pants with my boyfriend. at first everything was ok, the lady in the men's jeans area was very nice. we went 2 the nearest fitting room, which is unmarked btw, to try on some jeans. soon some lady from the adjacent juniors section was getting pissy because apparently, even though it is unmarked and the nearest dressing room, it was for juniors only. tbh I can understand if we were two creepy guys just browsing the juniors fitting room and it was busy, but it we aren't and it wasn't. we are two 20 yr old children, and it was noon on a Monday. the way this lady was talking about me and my partner made us feel very unwelcomed so we left shortly after without buying anything. honestly I hate firewheel, and I don't really like dillards. we just needed some jeans. but I wont go back there because they hire assholes. read more

I went to Dillard's on Black Friday to find a coat. I first went to Macy's but did not find my size as I am "Big and Tall". David in the Big and Tall department was GREAT. He greeted me when I walked in the door and was more then willing to help. He did not try to up-sell or anything like that. I told him my budget and he found me a nice Michael Kors formal winter coat. He also helped me with some nice dress shirts. The check out process was crazy because of Black Friday but I felt David provided great service. read more

Just experienced my first shopping for Christmas for the card holders at Dillards they promise to wrap our presents they give you a three day return on 65% off clothing then when I go to pick up my presents the next day they told me that my presents wouldn't be wraped for two days I ask to speak to a manager because no one seem to know what time my presents would be done... she came out as well as a security guard ,they called on me and said everyone was told that it would take two days last night well I was not told that and their customer service is horrible I will never shop there again and I spend over $8000 a year there Macy's here I come.... A good place to go if you need formal wear for your children. I needed a dress for my daughter to be in a wedding and I came here first. Glad I did because I found it right away! What I didn't know about their children's section, is that they have a HUGE selection of hair bows for girls!! They have every color in solids and also patterned styles. Just had the worst experience. My wife purchased 300 dollars in gift cards for my birthday here because she knows I shop there so much. Upon checkout they couldn't ring me up becasue I didn't have a PIN number??? I had my electronic bar code and everything. I called customer service who asked me to print my gift card. I didn't bring a printer in store. I was sent to customer service for help and that's where everything fell apart. A manager was called to help and all she kept saying was for me to call customer service. I asked for the manager because I had already done that. She insisted I call customer service again. The customer service rep tried helping again but we ran into a wall again. I asked for the manager yet again. I waited patiently and finally she showed her name was Ashlin Pennell. She walked up rolling her eyes in disgust when she saw us to which I just let go. Finally I figure it out so we were heading back to check out. At the checkout there were 2 pairs of pants I believed were on sale. We walked to the rack together and she let me know it wasn't all roundtree and York pants that were on sale, just the one rack. No problem, it wasn't a big deal. As we walk back to checkout we noticed my 6 year old daughter was hiding under a table. She commented "you can't even leave them alone for 2 minutes". At that point I felt I was trying way too hard to shop somewhere I wasn't welcome. Over the years I've bought furniture, clothing, purses for my wife, jewelry, countless shoes and apparel for our family of 7, bedroom suits, etc..... I will not walk through another Dillard's again. If this was from a regular employee I could get over it. The fact that someone from above decided that's a manager told me enough to know to stay out. I work in customer service. I don't give bad reviews even when they are warranted. This is my first bad review I've ever written. It's so deserved. Long story short. This holiday season, with (1) returns & exchanges, & (2) having to go from one Dillard's to another, because they're inventory didn't mean demands, it was hell because of the sales associates. Bad experience overall. Basically, I decided to give Dillard's at Firewheel another try. Especially when I knew they had what I needed right then & there, because I didn't wanna do another online exchange. Tina helped me twice, & she was very pleasant both times, on different days. Especially today, with the crazy sales going on, which I wasn't aware of, but cared less for. I notice that she wasn't only attentive to me, but to her colleagues & other paying customer as well. Bottom line she really caters to people. Now, as far as the other Dillard's: (1) a sales associate insinuated that I stole shoes, because I didn't have it in a bag. Duh, I got it as a gift, & parts of the Christmas wrap was still on it. I wanted an exchange. (2) They either forgot about me, so I had to get their attention once again, only for them to waste my time, because they didn't have what I was looking for. & (3) they gave me an attitude, probably because they were stressed out or something, but still. After today, I give kudos to Tina for fitting me in for an exchange (both occasions), especially today, through the the midst of chaos, literally. read more

Customer service is 0% .will never ever step my feet in there again .The mac section was so loud with a particular employee talking at the top of his voice.I was only pressed on time that's why I came into the store to shop for father's day . usually i am either at the galleria or Northpark mall where customer service is much much better .1 star is actually higher than what this store deserves .Don't bother to waste your money in this store .I am a nurse by profession and sometimes I wonder how these employees feel if we treated them how they treat we customers sometimes. read more

A pleasant afternoon shopping trip went completely left after being racially profiled by store employees and store security! I visited this located on a Friday afternoon for a bit of browsing and shopping with my husband and my mother. We were immediately greeted by an unmasked store employee in the men's underwear section who seemed helpful at the time, but turns out he was suspicious of our store activity. We moved to the Men's Polo section where we were again greeted by another store employee named Cathy who was just a ray of sunshine. She was super nice and we told her we would be back to check out with her after completing our browsing. We moved to the ladies shoe department and picked up a pair of shoes before heading back to Cathy to checkout. While checking out I noticed that the gentleman who initially greeted us had actually called for store security who proceeded to watch us from a distance as we completed our transaction. After completing the purchase, he then went over to the employee from the men's underwear section and let him know we had paid and the security guard left the area. It may seem insignificant to some, but imagine being followed through a store and watched to ensure you purchase the items in hand and then given an all clear to leave the store! My husband and I are small-business owners here in Garland, I am the founder of the Garland Mom's Club and we give back to our community in various ways. We have never been treated this way in any establishment and it was incredibly sad and disappointing to know that Dillard's, one of our favorite stores, would profile and treat us as if we did not belong. The entire experience was infuriating and embarrassing but mostly disheartening to know that the current political climate and changes being demanded across the US have not set in with Dillard's or these store employees. I have often been accused of seeing the world through rose colored glasses because I choose to believe that anyone and everyone is capable of being great and living freely, but today's shopping experience really opened my eyes to the reality of how this world truly operates. You'd think a place like Dillard's would be more tolerant especially at a time like this; however, Dillard's and their employees let me know that people of color are not welcome or free to browse their store without being watched and harassed by employees and security. No stars should be given !!!!!!! Having security called on you because you're shopping is disgusting and so disrespectful. How about you train your stupid employees as well as management on how to do figure 8 around the store as well as their department!!! And getting back to the customer who is having the issue is another thing that is not happening. This store sucks and I will NEVER come back unless it's for an apology by everyone in that store. And mind you this happened this past Saturday evening and store manager still hasn't contacted me. I will be calling until I get a full apology and their associate is being extremely disciplined. My review is largely based on the shoe department which deserves at most 2 stars. I shop at all the local Dillard's and this store has some of the least professional shoe sales staff. They're kind of pushy, really unreasonably strict shoe return policy (be warned, I was given a VERY difficult time on some shoe returns that I promise were only worn/tried on around the store and house but never worn outdoors), and unhealthy competition amongst sales staff. However, the rest of the store is newer and cleaner as compared to other Dillard's, for example, it has automatic sliding entry doors and fresh/new fitting rooms (the Northpark one has really beat up, smelly ones). The parking is situation is better and other department's such as jewelry, menswear, and women's dept are all pretty nice. So, in summary, go there for shopping needs other than women's shoes and you'll have a fine experience! read more

I have never left a store in tears until today. In the bra section of this store, I was absolutely humiliated. I asked for a fitting and everything went well until she decided to eyeball my cup size. Which is fine, if you can do it. She couldn't. She leaves and comes back with these hideous bras for fitting purposes. She insisted that SHE put them on me. I wasn't really comfortable with this but it all happened so fast and I'm not great at speaking up for myself. The next thing I know I'm in a room topless with a stranger. She put these horrible bras on me and decided that I was the biggest size that she brought in. I got dressed and went outside to meet my mother on the verge of tears. We were trying to decide if we should buy the other thing we had picked out prior when the sales girl approached with what can only be described as a bra for people who have just had surgery or the elderly. She loudly informs me that this is the only option for my size. I begin to full on cry as I have been losing weight, and am actually quite small now, but my cup size remains very high. This has been a lifelong struggle for me. At his point, she informs us that she has a much smaller cup size than me. I cried the entire thirty minute trip home. I can't speak for other departments in this store but the AA Woman in the men's department at this store is the main reason I have left this store on more than one occasion without purchasing. Fist off when I say no I don't need any help please don't follow me around interjecting your opinion or help when I said no thank you to start with. I grabbed a shirt tonight 10-8-17 and went to the changing room and again she asked do I need help and I say no and she stops me walking into the men's room asking if I've been measured and I say yes I know my size and she insists I get measured. Very annoyed now I have to walk back to the desk to get measured. Like I said I know my size. Then she said try it on and show it to me. Why? Again I politely declined your help. Now I'm looking for a tie and there she is asking about the shirt and interrupting my phone call. So I was going to buy it and was looking to add a tie and she tells me to give it to her if I'm not getting it because they are about to close. Even more aggravated now I just gave it to her and left. This is the same woman that wouldn't allow me to try on more than one shirt on a previous visit. How much business is Dillard's loosing because this person? I know she's commission but seriously. read more
