Great Store with lots of selection. If you are shopping for clothes in the men's department, ask for Joseph. He does a good job.

We waited about another 10 mins before a new girl came by and I asked her if she could help us. She said that she couldn't because she didn't have a key to the bike locks. But she was very kind and courteous and when she saw another associate, she let her know that we needed help. This third person contacted another person and let him know that we needed the key. That person never came with the key, but I believe it was the third lady that came around about 5 mins later with the bike lock key and helped us out. This person was the most helpful - I wish I had gotten her name. So I checked out a couple of bikes and decided on one that had flat tires, had a ton of dust on it, and was not in the best of condition. The bike felt right to me and I was set on that particular bike. There were one or two like it, but they too were flat and dusty. At this point I asked if we could get a discount on this bike. The third person who waited on us had to get managerial approval for a discount and she got who appeared to be the section manager to come over. This person was rude, snotty and acted like she didn't want to give us ANY discount. When I described all of the issues with the bike, the main one being that the tires were flat and the thing was filthy, she still acted like she wasn't going to budge. She said that there was no bike tech today and that they could fill up the tires and that's all they could do. When the associate reiterated that the tires would not hold air at all, the manager person said that they could only give me the discount that is allowed which would have nothing to do with the actual condition of the bike. Again, I reiterated that the bike was filthy, the tubes wouldn't hold air, the handlebars were crooked, the bike had some scrapes on it... still... she could only give the discount that is allowed. Well, ended up the discount was ok, but still, it just seems that there is no individual decision making at Walmart stores, at least this Walmart, or at least this manager (?). It's sort of ridiculous when the manager can't make a managerial decision. I've worked in customer service all my life, and that's not good customer service. Besides that it shouldn't have taken 20 mins to get an associate to help us. This was the first time I'd stepped into a Walmart in at least 13 years. I ONLY went there to get a cheap bike. I won't be back. I don't need another cheap bike, lol. The problem is that they don't care about the products they sell. Nor do they care that you are satisfied with the product. UPDATE: So I cleaned the bike of the thick layer of dust and dirt. I changed out the tubes to the new ones I got. I re-aligned the handlebars, and adjusted them to my liking. I greased the dried out chain. And took it out to ride. The seat was loose, so I had to tighten up the seat bolts. Also turned out that the wheels were not true. Especially the front wheel was wobbly as H. So Now I have to true the wheels. I've lowered my rating to just one star, down from 2. Because the customer service at Walmart SUCKS! They don't care about the bikes they sell or if they are usable when they go out the door. I wanted a bike put together and ready to go. I would have gladly have paid them to do this, but, as stated earlier, their "bike tech" wasn't in. Apparently, they have a part time "bike tech". wth? Place is a joke. It's bad enough that they sell cheap bikes that are put together by high school kids... but the fact that they don't stand by the product or the work, is just sad... pathetic... and unprofessional. 3. So I spent an hour truing the front wheel, which was the wobbiest. Just left the back one as is - it was a bit wobbly, but nothing like the front one, which was unrideable. C'mon Walmart, you are a joke. A really BAD and SAD, JOKE!
