AUTO CENTER on Rinconada Blvd. After a horrible experience at the Walmart on Walton Blvd in which they did not properly balance my tires (left the weights off) after I purchased new tires and the whole package (balance, rotate, road hazard etc.), and dealing with the rude manager (Javier) I brought my vehicle to the Auto Center on Rinconada. I'm starting to get really tired of their pharmacy. I switched over from Walgreens because the line is always smaller at the drive-thru but they are constantly behind and take way too long to fill a prescription. I just sat on hold for 16 minutes just to find out when my prescription would be ready. Customer service is seriously lacking. I'd give them zero stars if I could. I am a physician. SHAME ON WALMART. This company tried to charge a patient's mother more than $2000 for her son's generic anti-seizure medication, a medicine he has taken for years, a medicine that costs less than $30 with a GoodRx card. That's right. It was an emergency and mom needed the medicine for her son's safety and they tried to charge her more than $2000 for a $30 medicine. I have tried and tried going through normal channels to make pharmacies accountable for their behavior without success. So I guess I will just have to post here. I recommend avoiding all major pharmacy chains. They are all greedy and their pharmacy techs make life-threatening mistakes every day. Go to a local family-owned pharmacy where they take responsibility for their actions and actually care about your health and the health of your children. It could save your life. read more

Typical Walmart in the way that they have very few courteous employees. Quite a few will see you there but still block the aisle when trying to shop. Selections are typical Walmart. Mostly priced ok. The app doesn't always line up with what the store says. Auto care is a joke. Rude people, unprofessional workers. Could not even rotate tires properly. When confronted got the runaround. Sad part was I went in to ask for an appointment for another tire rotation, told them they didn't rotate in the pattern I asked. "Checked the camera" is all they will say. Wouldn't let me see the video because they knew they were wrong. Asked to see the manager? Some young guy comes up says "we checked the camera" Even stating that I took pictures myself(showed the first guy, he didn't care). Rude, lying. Ten minute fix. To lazy, don't care? You tell me. We use the grocery pick up most of all. I recommend avoiding their "substitution" option as they will send you a different item, as long as it's the same brand you ordered. (example: ordered canned Dole mandarins oranges and received Dole sugar free mandarins in individual plastic serving pack. bad tasting). They do fairly well with picking vegetables and fruit. Do not order fragile produce though, it will likely be bruised. Cleaner than the Walton Dr. location, including the bathrooms. Has a branch of some small bank, a salon, money services and a clean, modern designed McDonald's. Most registers are self checkout. read more

Grocery pick up is nice in theory, but this place will screw you over every time. The last four times I've ordered went like this: 1. Delayed, got notification my order was ready about an hour after the store closed. 2. Delayed, never got a notification. Called in, no one knew anything. Had to cancel the order. 3. Order cancelled, no reason given. 4. The best one: Ordered, got a message it was delayed, then that it was ready. When I got to the store, they loaded my groceries into my car, then spent 45 minutes dicking around with the payment system...then told me they had to take my groceries back because the payment system wasn't working. A five star Walmart, if there ever was one! Not just the best Walmart in Las Cruces, but the best one in the entire region, including El Paso. Really! And then I visited THIS location on a Saturday afternoon and couldn't believe it: The place was full, yet it remained clean and comfortable, the checkout lines were fast and efficient, it was out of this world! So I recently read that Walmart had reopened after they were ordered by their state officials, that allow tax breaks for them to open shop, to shut down after an outbreak within their location. I get the whole social distancing we are currently going through as a country. But when your cashier disciplines me it's my turn to check out. And you proceed to cough into your hand NOT into your elbow. It defeats the whole purpose of using a mask and your disciplining of me goes out the window. If I could rate this Walmart a ZERO I would. I have always used Walmart pick-up and since I have recently moved I am closer to the one here on Riconada. This is the worst place to get your groceries, my last two pick ups I waited for my groceries for over 45 minutes. They also stated they did not have 3 of my items, I had to go inside to get something I missed and decided to look for the items they said they 'couldn't find' found 2/3 items, fully stocked. I then told the lady once she gave me my groceries and she had nothing to say. When I do pick-ups at any other Walmart here in cruces, they are always doing substitutions for me even when I do not request them, they are extremely kind and make sure you're okay with your substitutions. This Walmart does not even look for substitutions much less look for your groceries because they are lazy. This is the most unprofessional Walmart I have ever experience and will never do business with again. They need to get their workers in line or get some help because looking at the rest of the reviews there is many people that aren't happy with this place. On another note I ordered strawberries one time, and they were MOLDED like noticeably molded and they still picked them out and gave them to me. And they called me one time saying I had 30 minutes to pick up my order or they were putting it back. My order was in-between an hour gap and I still had that whole hour to pick it up. i come here a lot and MOST of the workers are awesome at helping us out. But yesterday when the workers knew i needed help, they just stood there watching me. I must agree with Albert K. But I am a WalMart hater. The staff you can find is usually rude, I guess no one tells them, it's the customers who pay their salary. I go to Walmart when there is no other choice, we like a few items that must be purchased there since no one else carries the same products. So on Saturday afternoon, I took my 84 yr old mom and we both had fun! I realize this is a new store, so it should look clean. Not only did it look clean, but we passed several gals working with a mop and cleaning cart. There was so much staff working, I mean really working hard. When ever we had a question, just look about and there was a friendly employee to help. I wanted to test them some, do they like having a customer interrupt their task? I chose employees each from a different part of the store. Every one of them stopped what they were doing, looked me in the eye as I spoke to them and then gave me directions to the item I wanted and in one instance she took us across the store and found the item instead of sending us on a wild goose chase. Check out was blissful. Our checker was very pleasant. She smiled and worked very fast, when she asked how our visit was, I explained that we avoid Walmart as best as we can, but we surly will not after this visit. That may become my favorite Saturday activity. I was only going to give 4 stars, but then decided my only complaint is with the insensitive person who decided to drop Nathan's pickles. It must have been made by someone who does not even like pickles. They were just looking at numbers. Regarding the location in Las Cruces, NM. On Rinconada. Who ever is running this location possibly has ADHD and OCD. Which are not burdens for us customers to carry. Every 2 weeks this store is being rearranged. It's impossible to keep track of where anything is when the items we're after are constantly moving. While they are rearranging they make sure to have at least 4 employees in each isle with large carts holding items. So we can't get past them or look for the items that have been moved. Now most of the checkouts are "scan and go's". Where Walmart expects the customer to pay the same amount of money per item or more, so that we can scan our own items and also bag them, while an employee stands around watching us work. read more

I have to say this is the best Walmart I've been to. There are employees everywhere, cleaning and stocking shelves and making themselves available for the customers. I have not seen one single disgruntled employee here and have had very pleasant trips here even when it is busy! Always clean and comfortable. I went here the day after Black Friday. They had a HUGE row of videogames and movies on sale. I picked about 5 games I wanted and went to check out. The lady that range me out and the games came up full price. I asked her about the promotion and she said they were only selling the movies for that price currently and it ending at midnight on Black Friday. So I didn't buy the games and bought whatever else and left. The next day they had a smaller section of stuff on sale. Half of it was loaded with videogames I didn't want.
