    bag containing my shirts

The men's big and tall department usually has good deals on seasonal dress shirts that Dillard's wants to get removed from their stock. I found three, high quality, short-sleeved shirts for $30. Not bad at all! The service from the older gentleman working in the men's area was responsive, respectful, and old school; which I greatly appreciated. If in the area again, I'll return.

The Covid Mask Mandate Shopping Experience 7/11/2020 So Nashville reverted back to phase 2 with a mask mandate while in public. Many retailers have their own safety precautions that make shopping a bit uneasy such as; closed fitting rooms, limited try-ons of shoes and jewelry, must follow the arrow down aisles, no cash payment, strict return policy, and 50% store capacity. I still have not got used to the "New Normal" but this Dillard's made me feel like a valued customer will enforcing social distancing and CDC guidelines. I initially went in for a wallet but heard this voice in my head saying, "girl let's check out the shoes." The shoe department was clean, organized, and staff often asked if I needed assistance as I tried on shoes. Ok so I brought two pair for work, couldn't pass up a Dillard's Shoe Clearance. Shoe check out was quick with sanitizer accessible if needed. The associate informed me of ways to take off additional dollars off of my purchase, the new Covid store hours, sales in other departments, and the 3 day return policy on clearance items. I was walking towards the wallets when a bag caught my eye. The associate unlocked each bag I liked so I could model in the mirror and even suggested I put my belongings in it to ensure I love it because all sales are final on their vintage designer handbags. I ended up with two pair of shoes and a bag but no wallet. There is plenty of garage parking, offers curbside pickup if you are not comfortable coming in store, excellent customer service, a decent selection of favorite designer clothes, shoes and accessories, home goods, and beauty products.

With recent expansion, we can find a lot of things in here. Extensive selection of clothing for men, women, and children. Also, adjacent covered parking is always plus. You can find parking easily right around the elevator to access to mall.

I went to Dillard's in the Mall at Green Hills to find a fancy dress for a formal wedding in San Franciso.

I've marveled at the high-class display of exclusive brands, expensive purses and clothing, squeaky clean interior, and charming little restaurant on the bottom floor. This is surely a celebrity destination in Nashville. But I never actually shopped there ... until yesterday. In search of a birthday present for my wife, I perused the clothing on the uppermost of three floors looking for something that would match her style. Under the impression that everything in the store was uber-expensive, I was surprised at the vast range of prices! You could find a $40 skirt on sale, or a designer $1000 jacket, everything from bargains to the pinnacle of fashion! Searching for the right item but (as a typical male) rather clueless about fashion, the most charming young lady named Lindsey emerged and became my personal guide, my guardian angel of fashion. With class, sophistication, and professionalism, this Nordstrom employee offered suggestions, gave expert advice, found additional options for clothes in the back, and truly went overboard to make sure I was happy, comfortable, and enlightened. Because of her, I was able to bring home a truly remarkable outfit for my wife's birthday (which she'll be opening in a few days). Thank you, Nordstrom. And thank you, Lindsey!

Even though this was a new construction, it made sense for Green Hills and fit so perfectly. And even though the majority of the residents were chains (I'm guessing you need big money to afford this kind of rent), the stores were all appropriately suited for the area and all fit in to the complex. I'm not much of a shopper, but the Hill Center has sucked me in to buy furniture, food, clothes, gifts, and groceries. I'm surprised by how often I find myself here -- especially given that I don't live that close to the complex. I'm telling you: that's the power of pretty. After spending some time in Brentwood and marveling at the Hill complex there, I'm convinced that the Hill folks have the aspirational-yet-accessible aesthetic down to a science. *Some of the worst, most distracted drivers in the 615.

Horrible experience at The Container Store in Nashville TN two months ago…read more I went to pick up some things and was going to talk to someone about elfa closets. Saw only two people on the sales floor in the Elfa area who both ignored me. I finally stopped a lady who walked past me to discuss the plans I had for my closets. She acted like I was bothering her. I frankly gave up on buying elfa. I then went to go pay for what I intended to purchase and found only one register open and 8 people in line. At that point I decided to seek out the manager. I went back into the store and now found that NO ONE a was on the floor. Looked in every nook and cranny and found no one other than other customers wandering. I then found what appeared to be magnetic access cards and a Zebra hand held device laying in the open on a display rack! I waited 15 minutes for the manager to finally appear. I asked why I had found no one on the floor to help customers. I also handed her the security tags that were left behind. Her response? "we are badly understaffed and working to unload our truck". I asked her if customers spending money were not important? She barely responded and could have cared less. (she did not even act alarmed or concerned about the security tags and the zebra device) I called their headquarters in Dallas and have never had any response from them. Two weeks ago I was in one of their stores in the Denver Area and experienced the same thing.... only two people on the entire floor in Elfa both involved with customers... Sad to see a company I have shopped at for 35 years go down hill so badly. This company consistently ranked top on "Best Places to Work" years ago and now could now care less about their customers. I just looked at Fortune Magazines top places for 2024 list .... 100 companies and Container Store is not even on the list. Sad. I left my cart behind and ordered on Amazon....

This is a bummer, because I was visiting from out of town and hoping to try on a few things that I had seen online. Oh well. The store is set up so that you can see everything very well. It's kind of hard to explain, but there is a minimalist vibe going on here. The clothes are not shoved together like some stores -- instead, everything is spaced apart and you can really see every item on the rack. The lighting is very bright and stark. The walls and floors are white. There's a white theme going on here. The women's clothing is on the first floor, and there's an elevator that takes you up to the second floor, where you will find the men's clothing and kids clothes. I really wish their dressing rooms were open, but otherwise, this is a good little Zara located in the Mall at Green Hills.
