A clean, well-organized location for this chain. There are several locations for this chain throughout the central Florida area, but this one is very chill and has friendly staff. I've been here many times and it's easy to shop and walk through - even with our jogger stroller. They keep all their items in order and I've never had trouble finding what I'm looking for here. Employees are quick to say hello and offer help, but don't hover or stalk you through the store. You can always see them working on keeping their areas clean. Dillard's sounds like it's a POS store, but it's not. It's on par with Macy's as far as what you can find. They have lots of higher end brands as well as value stuff as well. When they have stuff on clearance, you can find some awesome deals. I've found great deals on shoes, Tommy Bahama shirts and shorts, hats, and lots of other stuff. Their Men's department is one of the better ones around in comparison to other department stores. I will agree with some of the other reviews that this is one of the nicer ones in the area. read more

this place has terrible service, rude employees they are so disrespectful to older kids. They think that they are the best when they are not. They kicked us out since we were doing nothing and it's made me very angry that I cannot have peace and shop in Dillards myself I was with a group of girls and I think it was very rude of them to say such a thing and even though you're coming from a young person that's very rude of them to kick someone out and they just need new employees. I bought things for a weeding and was not able to go due to family issues. I went in for a return and the first woman, i spoke with, I cannot remember her name for the life of me, was not nice at all with letting me return something I hadn't worn and won't need again. Consistently telling me no even after I had explained my situation to her. I walked out unsatisfied and upset but decided to go back in. I asked another woman, Paige to speak with a manager. She was very nice and spoke with me while I waited. The manager Amanda Jo "AJ" came over and was very nice and treated me with so much respect and gave me a full refund on the return. She was even very sympathetic about my family issues which was very sweet of her. After all is said and done I am satisfied with my experience here but would love if all the staff treated me as well as Paige and Amanda. read more

I went to do some returns. The process was easy but finding customer service is hard. There is no customer service downstairs so you had to go up and all the way to the back. After returns I went to browse and their prices are crazy!! Really cute stuff but not very affordable! read more

I went to Dillard's tonight looking for a formal dress for a party. A very nice person greeted me as I walked in the door and directed me to where I could find the formal dresses upstairs. I received phenomenal service from Stella in the dress department. She went above and beyond to help me find the perfect dress. Even though they were close to closing, she genuinely wanted me to find what I needed. It felt like I had a personal shopping assistant. She gave input on fit and when and found jackets to go with the dress. What a great experience!! I will shop in this store again because of the service Stella provided. We found some great deals at Dillard's in Oviedo Mall. The customer service was excellent as we received quality service picking out merchandise- very helpful staff!!!! So what's the issue, the 2nd floor. Ceiling tiles missing, trash cans collecting water, rain dripping, and looks like mildew in a few spots too. Dillard's-please make this store look like Dillard's and not a dilapidated sears store. read more

This is probably the best Dillard's I've been to in all of central Florida, and I'd choose to go to this one over the 'outlet' one over on Fashion square mall. The workers are so attentive in helping you find what you need. I also really like the way that things are organized at this Dillard's making it easy for me to go exactly where I need to go and finding it easily. I was looking for a new dress, and was able to find an abundant variety to choose from at 65% off! Including Calvin Klein, and Gianni Binni. The only minor thing keeping me from giving them the full 5 stars is the maintenance of the fitting rooms. The carpets could do with a good cleaning, other then that I will definitely come back the next time I need a new dress or shoes. read more

Dillard's Women's Intimate Apparel Department 2/1/18 11/100 This review is specifically about the Intimate Apparel Department on the second floor of this particular Dillard's. So ladies please take note: Karen! Today I went shopping to update my intimate apparel compliments of my wonderful mother whom always takes care that I am not wearing old and uncomfortable intimate apparel. It can be a bit stressful if you are unlucky to have an inexperienced sales associate do a fitting. However, I would like to spotlight KAREN today. She was friendly and attentive about the many brands and sales available at this time. I needed a new fitting and when she said that it may take several tries to get the perfect fit for me because she was a perfectionist....I knew I was in great care. She really did take the time with me to find the right new size and style to fit me perfectly. We made our purchases promptly and she never ignored the other clients waiting for us to finish, just kindly reassured them she would be with them shortly. Karen I would like to thank you for taking such good care of us and making our shopping experience today pleasurable. Rude staff in lingerie. I spent upwards of $600 on bras, lingerie and sleepwear. I came back before a month had passed to return one bra that did not fit me. The tags were on, I had NOT worn it, and I had the original receipt. The woman in lingerie (unfortunately I don't know her name) rudely stated that I cannot return worn items (!???) I told her I had not worn it as it was I'll fitting. (Who wears a bra with tags anyway??) she insisted that she could not return it. I asked what kind of scheme she thought I was trying to pull by returning a single bra after spending so much on a large number of items...she finally did the return for me. Seriously....WTF. I had gone to this Dillard's for 15 years as it is one of the few places that carries my bra size, so I did almost ALL of my purchases there for lingerie. Now I go to Bloomingdale's 30 minutes away just to avoid these people. read more

We went here with the thought that we were just going to browse at men's suits. I honestly had no intention of buying anything. I just wanted to compare the price points of Dillard's suits to other stores. I have only shopped at Dillard's once, that was a pair of dress shoes. My suits needed a serious make over. I must say that I've always been hesitant to browse Dillard's because I was always under the impression their clothing was too expensive for a budget like mine. And you must also keep in mind that this Dillard's is a smaller store due to Oviedo Mall being smaller. They may not have the selection the larger stores have. My wife, daughter and I walked in to the men's suit department and we were immediately greeted by Roberto. We have seen him multiple times and said hello walking through the store to/from the parking lot. But we've never had a conversation with him. He asked me what I was looking for and I said I was looking at suits. He asked me what my budget was and I was honest in saying it's on the lower end. He showed me a few options but I wasn't too fond of the quality. I upped my budget and that immediately opened my options up quite a bit. I looked at various suits with price tags that kind of scared me. Roberto reassured me and said, "let me scan it first to let you know what the price is." Sure enough, it was on sale. I had a navy suit picked out but it needed sizing done. I asked him about the details on having tailor work done. He said they do it there and it's included with purchase. I was amazed at that because that's rare. You buy a suit from most department stores and you're on your own time and dime to get it altered. As most guys know, off the rack suits are made to fit a wide variety of guys. Most common alterations are sleeve and pant length. He had me try the suit on with their shoes so he could get an idea on length. He marked the pants and jacket and said it would be ready in a week or so, he would call when it's ready. Then I spotted another suit, a charcoal suit. I looked at the price and was hesitant as this suit cost more than the navy suit. However, Roberto said to let him scan it. He scanned and sure enough it was on sale. He did the same with me trying the suit on and marking it for alterations. Now came the part of getting shirts and ties. He measured my neck and sleeve length and came back with various options that were on sale/clearance. He knew I was on a budget and made a conscious effort to keep me within budget. Roberto has a great sense of style, something I don't have, and came back with 5 shirts. I decided to buy 3 of the 5 and he showed me some ties. I also bought 2 ties. In all, we were mutually beneficial. He helped my wardrobe immensely and I believe I helped him towards his sales goal. Roberto will be my go to guy for clothing. Nothing against any of the other associates working there but I doubt they could top the experience we had with Roberto. It's also important to note that during this entire time, we were not the only customers. He was juggling not only multiple customers but also phone calls. It took us 2-2.5 hours but my wardrobe has had a significant makeover just with 2 suits, 3 shirts and 2 ties. read more

This location is the worst location that I have ever been to. The customer service is horrible, the associate Yasmine Jamal and her manager Danielle Anderson are dispicable bigots. They sold me a damaged dress (as specified on the receipt) and refused to take it back two days later & went on to further indicate that I caused the damage. Horrible. read more

Just horrible. Tonight around 6:50 p.m., I arrived at Dillards at the Oviedo, Florida mall. Prior to arriving, had worked 8 hours and it ended at 6 p.m. Already stressed due to loosing a family member. Suddenly, some guy name Robert approach me and demand for me to let him help me. I refused and proceed to head upstairs due to the items I'm returning are ladies garments. He follows me upstairs and everywhere I go to avoid him, he is there in my space. Then, he finds Cindi to help me on my return items. He stands about 5 feet away from me watching Cyndi return my items. Literally, I had to ask Cindi to call the Manager on Duty to make this person stop staring me down. I had receipts for my merchandise i returned. The guy would not leave therefore I began to tell him to get the hell away from me. The MOD had the same demeanor very unbothered. He did tell Robert to leave the area. Can you believe the audacity of this Robert. I felt like a criminal. read more

I've been coming to this Dillard's location for over ten years. Spoke today with managers. I was asking them for help with a return / replace situation. Basically had been unlucky and gotten a new pair of sunglasses ruined right after I bought them. I have no illusions that I was basically asking for a favor. They didn't help at all.
