Visited Dillards today to shop for a special occasion dress for my teenager for her graduation. Roxanne was very friendly and helpful. She personally assisted us with shopping for appropriate dresses for a 8th Grader. Unfortunately we did not find a perfect fit, however, the selection at Dillards for evening gowns and Special Occasions is tremendous. I appreciate the fact they dedicated a portion of the store to Juniors sizes. Many of the other department stores have gotten rid of Juniors/ Misses and have merged styles with Women's clothing. Dillards has an abundance of designers, I just wish the price tags were reasonable. read more

This review is based on my recent online purchase of three pair of Roundtree & Yorke Classic Fit. I have bought many of these pants over the years and have been very satisfied. Consequently, when I received this latest order, I simply removed the stickers and hung them in the closet. When I put a pair on a few days later, I discovered that I had ordered Classic "Straight Leg" pants rather than the ones I had always ordered, and they were entirely too skimpy and uncomfortable. I went through the return process, but today got the pants back with the notation that the stickers had been removed and the pants were thus not returnable, even though they were obviously new. Naturally, I won't be shopping at Dillard's again but hope that Dillard's customers will be alert to their ridiculously restrictive return policy. read more

I had a great shopping experience. The women's shoe department rocks. The black woman who served me was on her A game. She knew the SKUs for the shoes I showed her at a glance. She was quick bringing back my shoes. And she offered advice. Neither of us liked the first pair I picked. She was patient and when I found the pair, she confirmed my choice. A Facebook friend posted that Dillard's in Greensboro was having an 80% off sale in the men's department on select clearance items. Once the mall announced it was reopening I decided to see if the Triangle Town Center location was also having that sale. Fortunately they were! I found a great selection of neckties that were conveniently displayed by colors. I quickly found four ties that I felt would work well with my dress shirts. There was also a good selection of dress shirts included in the 80% off sale. I already had plenty of dress shirts, but I did find one shirt that I liked and purchased. Sales clerks were available but didn't hover over me while I looked for the items I wanted to purchase. Once I was ready to purchase, a sales clerk walked with me to the sales station and completed the transaction in a polite and professional manner. read more

Since the Cary Dillards store has closed, it was more crowded than ever at this store. No problems in the areas that I was shopping but I heard that there was a fist fight in ladies purses. Shout out to Robin and Joseph in the men's dept. These two go the extra to make their customers happy. If you like Dillards then this is where you will be shopping. The next closest store is in Burlington. Selection of merchandise is good. It's a big store. Lots of name brands. They also have a large online presence. Dillard's - New Years Day Sale !!! - Men's Clothing Near Me - Raleigh, North Carolina

Purchased a Hickey Freeman suit from the Raleigh, NC Dillards store. When the suit arrived, the left sleeve was not sewn in properly making the sleeve look twisted. Once I put the suit on, my wife noticed the flaw. When I took it back to the store, I was told by the salesman that nothing could be done but if I took it to a tailoring shop in the same mall, they perhaps could remove the sleeve and correct the flaw but, I would be responsible for paying the tailor. Essentially, I purchased a new suit which is no good. There was not a sincere effort by Dillards staff to make the sale right. They cleverly assigned fault while not taking responsibility for the flawed item. I've purchased many items from that store but never again. Would not recommend that store if you're looking for men clothing! read more

Dillard's in Triangle Town Center is my new favorite place to shop for clothes. The store is clean, organized, offers clothing from a wide selection of designers, and provides service like the department stores of yesteryear. Several staff members even offered us help as we shopped the Black Friday sales, unlike most department stores these days. read more

Great store. Good styles and average prices that match Macys. Customer service. Not so much. Came to do a return and the lady at the registered had the hardest time processing it. With a nasty attitude too. Her words "this is going to take forever" if you can't process a return? Then what are you doing in the front desk? It took her under 5 min. I am completing this review for the lingerie department, aka the bra specialists! For about 3 years now, I have been going a couple of times a year to be refitted, after watching an Oprah show years ago about how most women wear the wrong size bra. Well, let's just say, the girls are much happier now that we go bra shopping at Dillard's. Every single associate I have ever encountered in this department has been uber helpful and knowledgeable. Today, I had yet another great experience, that I had to yelp it! After be in fitted the first time a few years ago, I learned it's a good rule of thumb to be fitted at least once a year. Our girls apparently change here and there. Now that I have found the type of bras I like for fit and cuteness, I now can go in, have them help me adjust them for support of the girls, then I'm on my way. This is THE BEST place in the area to shop for your gals to keep them supportive all year long. I highly recommend the bra specialists at Dillard's! read more

There are 3 things I dread shopping for: 1. Jeans 2. Swimsuits 3. BRAS. Dear Lord, nothing brings more fear to the pit of my stomach than bra shopping. My review, too, is for Sandra. She's delightful, she's lovely and fun. I told her, "I don't know what I'm doing; I need help." She just smiled, took a quick measurement, and was off. Talk about service. She picked out several things and I ended up with one practical bra and one pretty, fun bra. Seriously, she did in 10 minutes what probably would have taken me hours. Now, I know my size and can go back time and again with confidence. The other associate, Oksana, was also friendly and kind. The prices were right and the rest of the store is in nice shape, though I wasn't shopping for anything else. Dillard's has made a return customer of me, and they should thank Sandra with a little bonus this Christmas. read more

My review is for Sandra in the bra department! She should get 10 stars for her wonderful and outstanding customer service. The hubby and I were in Raleigh for two days and stayed right across the street from the Dillards. I really just wnet in there to kill some time. I found myslef wandering through the bra department and Sandra asked me if I needed any help. Since I was just looking, I said no thank you. And then she finally says "honey, let me help you. You got the wrong bra on and you need my help". Then my hubby pipes up and says, "please help her she gets so frustrated with bra shopping it is not even funny". This lady works miracles! I can't tell you how much better I look in the right bra. And just like they say every year on Oprah, I was wearing the wrong size! The girls are up and out and they look great!!!!! This is one for the ladies out there--well, the well-endowed ladies. This Dillard's store has the largest collection of hard-to-fit bra sizes that I have seen in the Triangle area. If your going to give us a button to get service for another size then don't back talk about it and get to it. This department store, and others, need to organize their inventory by clothing type and not by manufacturer. If I want to find a sweater, for example, they are scattered all over the floor. Put them all together in the same spot. Put all the pants in the same area, all the shirts in another area, etc. That's the way things are organized online and the way they should be organized in the stores. Start organizing things for the customer instead of the manufacturer. read more

Great experience bra shopping @ Dillard's today. I never like spending money on bras, especially because they never seem to fit me right, so today I asked for help, and wow, what a difference!
