I addressed this as well, said they would do this and left my car there for about a week, and no one had even touched it, plus I asked them to keep in garage overnight and they lied right to my face and said they did, I rode by during the night and it was sitting outside. My family was traveling to Myrtle Beach this past June when we noticed a noise with one of the…read morewheels. We were in Rowland, NC (about 1.5 hours from Myrtle) when this occurred. It was on a Saturday at 1:00 p.m. when most repair shops are closed. My wife looked online and found great reviews for Eugene's. She called him and we took the vehicle to his shop (only a few miles away). When we arrived, I told him where we were headed and he told me to take my family (5 kids and wife) back into town (an area called "South of the Border"), where there were shops that were air-conditioned and bring the vehicle back. I did and brought the vehicle back. He and his assistant, Orlando, found that it was a bad rear wheel bearing and brake pads. Unfortunately, the wheel bearing was seized on since the vehicle is a 2004 and the original part. It took power tools, hand tools, elbow grease, a torch, and finally a push/press device to remove the wheel bearing...after 3 hours of trying. I was impressed! I watched these guys work; never frustrated, just kept looking for a solution. What's more is they were supposed to be CLOSED. If you look at their hours online, they are closed on Saturday and Sunday. These guys worked on our vehicle all afternoon, with Eugene even going to the local parts store to grab the wheel bearing and pads. He did not overcharge (and certainly could have) for the work and not being opened...or he could have simply said that he was not open that day. Eugene is what I call a good ol' boy. He is truly a good man who enjoys helping people, and he told me that he has helped many people from all over the U.S. If you are in the area of Rowland and in need of emergency car service, give Eugene's a call. Called back around 2pm to advise truck was ready. Cost was about $250 LESS than quoted. Excellent service, price and timeliness. Staff was friendly and helpful. This was also the day before July 4th holiday. I will certainly be back.

I would have taken my truck to the local GMC dealership I bought my truck from and where I have been a loyal customer for 20 years but I am tired of having to haggle just to feel like I am supposed to be grateful for the discount they give me when the out the door price is 2 to 3 times more than I can get repairs done elsewhere by an equally qualified mechanic. The Wheel Country technician diagnosed the problem in the rain, removed the nail in the rain, and when I asked what I owe, he said don't worry about it, have a nice day! Since I never have coins or much cash the card reader is most convenient. Cycle through Tire Cleaner, Pre wash, Soap wash, scrub brush, Rinse, Wax, Spot free wash on CRV is $8.50. There are vacuums that take car wash tokens currency accepted is cash/credit. There is a dog wash on-site, haven't used don't have dog. Compared to what was paying before I'm getting more service done for less money. The Laser Wash is next door, I will try it soon.

Worthless company. Purchased some tunes from them for a '22 F250 7.3. The tunes were fine for…read morenormal driving, but as soon as I towed with them (yes, the tow tunes), there were shifting issues. Reached out and they attempted to revise, but when I told them it wasn't any better and running stock was, they started getting pissed and blaming me. I offered to have them drive it, or at the very least discuss over the phone, they further refused. They then blamed me for not driving around for a couple hundred miles to guess rpm shift points. Don't waste your time with them. If you need anything they will refuse. And of course, no refunds. Nothing but thieves.
