Mi Toro is hugely popular with locals as you will see by the cars in the parking lot on an average night. Food can sometimes vary but usually is very good and very reasonably priced which is why people keep coming back. Don't hesitate if something doesn't suit you to tell your waiter, they'll make it right promptly in my experience. On Tuesday and Thursday nights, they feature what I think are the best Margaritas in town at half price. Their small Margarita now at $3.99 is still a bargain and a perfect accompaniment to the food. Avoid larger sizes, multiples or pitchers unless you are sharing as a group or a designated driver. The top shelf fajitas feature skirt steak and the generous quantity make a good entree to share with two people. Quite unexpected on a Mexican menu and somewhat unusual, the hamburgers are very good and the fries are delicious. The restaurant has been remodeled and is upscale in its surroundings.
