Keith, our server, was AMAZING. While Vicari's is mostly good, this year for our annual Christmas party was GREAT. Keith our Server, was completely ON IT. Fabulous service, paid attention to our needs on our large party. Chef was also on it for all of our food. You guys get 5 Stars!

The building is amazing. The wait staff was great. We had a slight problem with our poke bowl order. Note to self don't order a poke bowl in an Italian restaurant. The calamari was wonderful. The spaghetti and lasagna lunch portions were huge.

The best thing about this place was the service. Our waiter was very good. He was incredibly helpful. We were very excited about trying this place, and the yelp reviews had us more excited. But I have to say- the majority of our party was disappointed. The food was very inconsistent. Some dishes were delicious. Some were not great. Start with the great: -creamed spinach tortellini with blackened chicken was excellent. Great ratio of pasta to sauce and the chicken was perfectly blackened. -pork tenderloin: this was seasoned well and the pear sauce was very good. -blackened chicken Alfredo Not so great: -prime rib. The presentation was boring and lack luster. The taste wasn't much better. Good thing it was served with potatoes because those were good. -ribeye steak: the LOOK of the steak was GREAT! Perfect grill pattern on the steak, but the taste was just.. adequate. For a $45 dry aged ribeye, it wasn't anything special. Again- potatoes were great! The tomato with crusted Parmesan was good, but ... not difficult to make that taste good. -shrimp jalapeño poppers: possibly the most disappointing dish. When I saw this on the menu, I thought "man! Absolutely!!!" It's right up our alley! BUT I wish I would've just gotten a salad like the rest of the table. This dish is a plate of a roughly 8 shrimp; each wrapped in bacon with a slice of jalapeño wrapped with it. But the jalapeño was absolutely pointless. It was so tiny and you couldn't taste it at all. All I tasted was the grill burnt areas of the bacon. Couldn't taste shrimp. Couldn't taste jalapeño. Overall- this place is fine. But in my opinion, if I'm going to pay that price, I expect more. More ambiance. More taste. More consistency. More food presentation. And.. more jalapeño.

Rustic rival decor! Made a reservation a couple weeks back to ensure a table , easy, breezy, friendly! 5 Star on the food,. Tantalize your tastebuds dry aged ribeye $34 got 2, lobster ravioli $26 and grilled mahi-mahi $24. All garnished with a veggie and Parma tomato and yummy creamy roasted potatoes ! Very good ! Had a special request for a lemon sauce on the fish and they made me a custom creamy lemon sauce to die for! Every body at table was dipping into it. delizioso! buon appetito! 5 star -Service Nick was outstanding server, amazing, attentive, table clear immediately, Bravo on customer service and giving us an amazing dinning experience!!! Hostess 1 star! Pictured The only con was the hostess was rude and not wearing her PE, made me almost walk out and not feeling safe. Everyone other employees in place was following the rules. Arrived 10 min early to restaurant @ 6:15 pm only 5 tables full, 5 empty tables along wall available. During Covid ask Not to sit in middle of room to limit exposure. Guess where she put us? Asked to sit at wall and she discredited our reservation, like we didn't matter. Those table didn't get sat till 30 or 45 minutes later. Bright side seating in center of room was getting Nick! Bravo Nick you made our night! Thank you

The Italian food is adequate, but nothing spectacular. The steaks, on the other hand, are out of this world good. Pricey but worth it.

This is a great little restaurant off the beaten path.  I have heard of it for years but last night…read morewas my first experience.  The catfish and hushpuppies were great.  Hushpuppies were a little spicy with green flecks of Jalapeno.  Salad bar was small but everything was very good.  Others in our party had steaks and all declared them excellent.  Service was first class, fast and friendly.  We will return.   Bring cash, no credit cards, probably because your cell phone will hardly work, probably no electronic credit card machines either. You'll find plenty of local color here, one of the most interesting is that this is also the site of the community's post office.  You don't get much chances to dine in your local post office.  Might be a great idea nationally if you could replicate their fried catfish. Cell phone reception is pretty poor at this location so you better check your GPS and YELP before you get there as well.  You won't find much about Chewalla, TN, on Google but it has a lot of local history.  When the railroad through nearby Corinth came through around 1857, one of the stops along the way was at Chewalla near the border of Mississippi and Tennessee.  The Chewalla Road was an established trailway which extended back into the time when all of the area was Indian Territory.  It was the path for invading and retreating armies during the Civil War and a battle was fought nearby during this time period.   Sitting right beside the railroad is Jim's Steak and Fish, about a 20 minute leisurely drive from Corinth, MS.  The most direct route coming from nearby Corinth is directly out Wenasoga Road which follows the path of the former Chewalla Road. Address shows Ramer, Tennessee, but actual location is Chewalla, an unincorporated community South of Ramer and North of Corinth, well worth the trip if you can find it.

Food is great with size-able portions for sure. Great steaks and fish is what I've had there…read more Hush puppies are great and they are given as appetizers. The salad bar is splendid. The tea like country tea cold and smooth. I must say this place is one I can remark that you get your moneys worth in food. Service is good and they do a great job at moving customers in as quickly as possible by clearing used tables. The building is relatively small therefore there may be a slight wait but I assure you it will be worth it. Do yourself a huge favor and plan a meal here. You will not be disappointed. Country people with a country attitude friendly. On scale of 10 it's a 10 for sure.
