So first things first, I travel a lot. I mean the kind of travel where I am in a different hotel every night. Most days I forget what room number I am in. For this reason, even though DiMaggio's was about a half mile from my hotel I decided to get it delivered. Usually when I order pizza delivered I expect it to be lukewarm or even somewhat cold, but that was not the case. My pie was piping hot. So hot it scorched the roof of my mouth (my fault). But I do fault DiMaggio's for having such delicious pizza that I couldn't stop eating or even slow down. The toppings were all fresh and bountiful. Not just a sprinkle here and there, the toppings were enough to give you a taste of everything in every bite. And I'm not a single, two or three topping kind of guy. I had Italian sausage, green peppers, mushrooms, onions and black olives. I cannot remember when I had a better pizza as of late and I had pizza in New York three weeks ago. The pic I posted only shows what is left after I inhaled the rest. I believe this will be a delicious cold pizza breakfast in the morning. I "tried" to order pizza to be delivered. I was placed on hold, no problem with that, but when the person came back on the phone he was so abrupt and hurried. When I asked him a cpl questions he was irritated. So, I asked if he would just look up my address and I'll order what I had ordered previously. He stated, "we don't have a computer so I can't look up your order", which I know to be an untruth. I asked him to give the phone to someone else since he was so irritated and he said "No one else is here, I have no time for this, I am the owner and I will not make you any food" then hung up. Classic New York Style pizza, definitely better than chain pizza's. A decent amount of flavorful cheese, perfectly fine crust, ok sausage and peperoni, I enjoyed it. The cheesy bread with dipping sauce was ok. But here's what I don't get, if pizza is basically bread with marinara sauce and melted cheese, why as a side do pizzerias give you toasted bread with melted cheese and marinara on the side? Here have some bread, and for you appetizer and dessert, may we suggest some bread, and perhaps some bread on the side. And sir, I think the Chteau Lafite Rothschild Pauillac 1996 would go splendidly with that, and in it we put bread crumbs made by hand by French monks who let it age in the ancient, cedar lined caves, in which they silently reside and study. But since law requires that bread be fortified with essential vitamins, perhaps one could live by cheesy bread and pizza alone. Some might jump at this opportunity, but then what would become of the fruit growing farms? read more

Didn't start off on the best foot. I ordered online and when I went to pick it up they forgot my breadsticks. But once I tried the bacon cheeseburger pizza I quickly forgot about the mix up. The online description doesn't lie, the secrets in the sauce. It's unlike any other sauce! its amazing! Comes with lettuce tomatoes and pickles on the side for that true bacon cheeseburger taste. We bought pizzas from here at least once a week (anywhere from one pizza to four each order). Today, they delivered the pizza to the wrong house. The residents of this house apparently signed a credit card slip that isn't theirs and took the pizza. Not only did DiMaggio's then say "too bad, we're out that material so you're out of the money" but they also refused to remake the pizza for us unless we wanted to buy another pizza. The average pizza, even for small business, costs around $.40. This company was so incredibly rude while trying to handle this situation. Both the manager and the owner were completely disrespectful, on top of horrible at customer service. Even when we went TO the store to discuss it and prove that the signatures didn't match. So essentially, we just bought someone a pizza and have to now go through the processes of reporting credit card fraud through the banks. This company is absolutely awful and in no way deserves their customers since they have no customer service. I'm appalled at how this situation was(not) handled. read more

Can someone please explain to me why and how this place exists? It's been around forever despite an abysmal location and the lowest quality ingredients. I've had frozen pizzas more appetizing than this place. The only positive I can give is they are dirt cheap. Quite possibly the cheapest pizza place I've ever been (which says a lot about the quality of the food you're going to get). If you're too drunk to function and only have a couple dollars, order delivery and you'll have horrible pizza for days. I have a hard time imagining any ingredients here don't come in a giant can or sealed package. The dough tastes like it's made using a sack of week old bakery rolls, the sauce is essentially a large serving of tomato paste, topped with a quarter handful of cheese, and baked for several seconds in the worlds okayest room temperature oven. read more

Was stopping in the area for a short while and had a craving for some good pizza. This place did not dissapoint. The sauce and toppings were all excellent on a perfectly done hand tossed crust. We also ordered some pasta and found the Fettucini Alfredo to be on par with any good italian joint. This is obviously more of a 'Take-out' place as they only have seating for about 12-15 people. However, the staff was friendly and curteous. If you've never had Spaghetti Pizza, then get your butt over to DiMaggios Pizza because it is AWESOME!! The first time I saw it on the menu, I was like, WHAT?? I just had to try it because it just sounded too funky. You wouldn't think it would make for a good pizza topping, but it really does. I've been in love with it ever since! I've also tried their pasta which is pretty good too. Haven't tried the salads yet, so I guess that's the next thing on my list. They have quite a few specialty pizzas if you can't make up your mind on toppings. The only thing I wish they had was a Specialty pizza coupon. Now that would be the ultimate good thing!! read more

So we found this place on Yelp, as it was close to where we were at the time. Yelp said they have wait service, so we took that to mean we could dine in. That was sort of true. They have three small tables inside. When we ordered at the counter, we asked of we could eat it here. The guy said yes. We asked what kind of soda they had, and he said they only sold two liter bottles of soda, no ice, and plastic cups. So, we ordered a pizza with extra cheese, cheese bread, and a two liter of Pepsi. The guy walked the pizza over to oue table in a delivery box and said, "here you go, guys." We asked if plates or napkins were available. They were not. So, we decided to take it home where we could get plates and napkins. When we got it home, the pizza was average at best, and it definitely did not have extra cheese. The cheese bread had the appropriate amount of garlic butter, but it was really light on cheese. Had we order this for delivery, we would have rated this transaction with three stars. As it was, we wasted too much time discussing whether this was a one-star or two-star review. We landed on a generous two star rating. read more

I've eaten delivery several times as my husband really likes this place. I however think it's average. The pasta I've tried tastes like frozen pasta that was jus warmed up. There pizzas are to die for and filling. I just get a normal pepperoni pizza and when I do they taste excellent. The sauce is savory, the cheese melts with rightly cook pizza crust, and the pepperoni tops it all. Awful customer service! Ordered a salad and a drink for lunch. Both were wrong. I called the store back and the person who answered the phone wanted to argue about how they had the order correct, rather than correct the errors. Here's a tip for you - a vegetarian for 5 years is not going to eat a meat salad. Did not appreciate the mansplaining over the phone. They have the best pizza I've had anywhere and not too expensive either. The pasta and wings are also very good. I wish I could get them to remember to bring the sauces I paid for when they deliver, they forget almost every time now. AWFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND FLAT OUT RUDE!!!!! ( I ordered Lasagna with breadsticks, Spaghetti with cheesy bread and a soda for delivery. EVERYTHING was cold and breadsticks I could barely bite through. The warmest thing was the soda I ordered. I called them and told them this and the MANAGER told me he did NOT believe me and basically called me a LIAR!! I could not believe it. He then hung up on me and I could NOT seriously believe it!! I have NEVER in my life had such poor service along with COLD FOOD. Earlier in the phone conversation he even proved my point right when he agreed by the time I got my food that It probably WAS cold by now and that was 5 minutes after I received it which was late!! But then changed his story and said he did not believe me that it was cold and would not do anything about it. What was the worst thing about it was that I was called a LIAR when I was 100 % telling the TRUTH!! I am so disgusted with this place!! I WILL NEVER order from here again!! So, the first time we ordered from them it was pretty good but a little scarce on the portions. Then we had delivery and there were issues. Supposedly a credit was to be issued on the next order...yeah, right. The guy decided to charge us full price then act like we weren't smart enough to figure out that we were being overcharged. But hey, stuff happens so we did try a few more times. Not a good idea. Even smaller portions. The last time we ordered extra ingredients and paid for them only to find that it was even less of a portion than we had originally gotten. So, if you like getting short changed and wasting your money, go for it but I would rather eat convenience store food or Taco Bell personally. Guess that's the passive-aggressive "Minnesota nice" for you, huh? No thanks and since they're obviously not in the least concerned with maintaining us as customers, they can stick that fake passive-aggressive crap where the sun doesn't shine.
