They were originally supposed to check out where I was and where I wanted to go. They didn't. The operator picked up the conex and took it near the property. He decided, after one try, he couldn't go where I wanted the conex. Instead he dropped the conex in the neighbors driveway and told me I would have to arrange someone else to move it where I wanted it. It took an additional $500 to move the conex less than 100 yards to where I wanted it originally. The receptionist for the company was not friendly or even polite. We were informed the driver would call the next morning, but he didn't. The company refused to help me move the conex, but were sure to deposit my check. I wouldn't recommend this company!

Quickly assessed all of our possessions and came back with a very reasonable estimate. After we received our final bid on Thursday, we called Ben back, the next morning. He had the day off and will be back on Sunday. Sounded odd. But what do we know about the moving business? We had the woman set our packing date for 11 days later on 8/22, while we waited for Ben to get back to us with more details. Long story short, no return call Sunday or Monday. My wife finally called Ben the next night and he told her that he and I had spoke and set everything up for the 22nd. But he and I never spoke. He's yet to call either of us. I'm not sure why he'd blatantly lie like that but if he isn't honest on a simple call to confirm he'd won the contract, seems to me nothing he said could be trusted. Low price is important. But these are our lifetime memories. Being able to trust the folks moving them is far more important. Here's another thought. They drive the load through Canada. Not the using the barge. We're selling the items out of it as it doesn't work in the new modern house. The place is clean, has many available dolly's/carts to move in items and/or move out items. Units are nice. They also take a credit card and auto bill monthly. NOTE: Having rented storage units all over the country there are 2 things I don't like about storage units in general. 1). The lighting inside the units always sucks. Never lighting in the unit. With LED these days being so inexpensive add some lighting that's motion activated. 2.) Accessibility some locations limit your access time. You say can't get in after like 8:00 PM - Why? It's locked, it's pin accessed - they have security cameras, so why?

I legitimately live on the other side of the country in the mountains so my service isn't always the best. When Robert answered the phone I heard that it was public storage and it cut out after that. I was immediately cut off by Robert and told that I 'probably didn't have a storage there' and 'had I been listening I would have heard this was the Debarr location.' I told Robert there was no need to be rude and I was confused as I called a 696 number which is, Eagle River. He barked and rambled about answering phones for other location when they were receiving high calls. We did exchange words, I requested his managers information. He barked that he was the manager of the location. (Oh boy.. what lucky owners) and when I called back to complain, I would ask for him and hung up. I've never had issues with the Eagle River location but I wouldn't give any form of trust or card information to 'Robert' at this location
