But grump is subjective, and it sure sounds to me like the context of most of these grump gripers be a little insensitive to normal, adult behavior. Yes, there is short amount of supply for a service only the really needy really need. When you sign the check before you take it in to the check cashing facility, it reveals a very powerful ignorance on the way things work in personal finance. Every institution requires signature in their presence. Expecting them to trade out A fistful of your grimy twenties for fresh, Chris $100 bills without any financial incentive to do so is unreasonable, and the fact that somebody believes it unreasonable to be told no reveals a childish, uninformed mindset. And even if you did not find them meeting your standards of polite etiquette and/or adequate levels of butt kissing, why don't you try to be the person you expect them to be and see if they don't respond with kind words. It really is a shame that inaccurate and unnecessary petty, vindictive, public comments accompanied by one star ratings can drag a small businesses image down so low in today's instant wreckage opportunity. These folks work hard to provide a service for people that have very few choices in the community, usually due to poor choices they've made in their lives. These reviews seem mean-spirited and spiteful, wielded with no regard for the damage they can do to good people's business. Shame shame. You'd think that the lumps they've taken or being schooled that they were wrong would make them a little more humble. This began as a four-star rating, but I'm going to up it to five just for having to put up with people like that.

Exchange rates vary daily depending on foreign currency highs and lows. Whether it's for Japanese Yen, South Korean Won, Hong Kong Dollar, Euros or Mexican Pesos, I never had any problems working with them over the years. Great solid service as needed and no additional questions asked. CXI does charge high fees for processing, which is included in the actual amount you're getting back and quite convenient if you don't carry a lot of currencies and don't want to go to a bank. Don't expect equal currency value for other currency values since CXI fees are high. Great place to cash in extra currencies in small amounts, especially after a trip abroad. Otherwise, pay more to buy more international currencies. I didn't know that most places don't accept 1 euro and 2 euro coins. Yes, those convenient coins are always leftovers after trips. Some currency exchange spots don't accept those coins either. U.S. banks are extremely picky. They would accept actual paper money, but not coins. Interesting. Glad to have CXI open daily here. I was able to exchange 19 euros at CXI with no issues this week. They may have limited amounts of currencies or too much of one type on hand. Overall, convenience works here. Since it was closer to New Balance and Blue Bottle Coffee, finding a spot to park was quick and easy. I came back from my trip to Rome and had extra euros I wanted to convert back to USD. I walked in and didn't have to wait in line. The exchange rate was decent and left with cash in hand in less than 5 minutes. Woohoo! I will definitely use this place as my go-to for exchanges in the future.

And while it's not always guaranteed the friendly staff here tries their best to get a good mix of denominations when available. Overall, good location super knowledgeable staff, and convenient service when I can sell my leftover money.
