Considering most of the furniture is old/used/re-purposed, the prices they're asking are retail for brand-new stuff. I get that people put their hard work and energy into fixing stuff up, but there has to be a balance. Overall, it really is an ADORABLE shop. It's decently sized and there's plenty to see. In fact, I'm guessing you probably miss seeing half the stuff because there's SO much! You could almost walk through each section twice just to be sure you saw everything! The issue was that Macy's has these prices at $200 over what the manufacturer website has (for the basic ZGR)... and won't price match. Nor will they offere free shipping like the manufacturer offers (with free returns also if needed). The manufacturer also throws in an extended warranty for free. So I will probably go with the manufacturer.

City Furniture continues to insist that I should have to pay $50 to have inspector confirm that…read morethey sold me a defective product. If they do not believe me when I tell them their product is defective they are free to hire an inspector to come look at it. This should not be my responsibility. I do not sell defective products and if I did I would most certainly apologize and replace free of any charge. It's THE RIGHT THING TO DO and it's good business. We will see and I will update. City Furniture could refund the $150 it cost me to have defective product they sold replaced. After purchasing the defective mattress from City Furniture I was required to pay $50 to inspector to confirm defect. I was then required to pay an additional $100 for them to deliver a replacement mattress. In short, because Serta made a defective mattress and City Furniture sold this defective product I was required to pay $150. More than if I had simply received a good product to begin with. These cost should have been absorbed by City Furniture because they sold the poor quality product causing me substantial inconvenience, who then, if they wished could recoup them from Serta who made the poor product to begin with or simply not sell poor quality products.
