Ethan was well dressed, clean cut and well mannered for a 20 year old. We spent a couple of hours looking at items. Ethan picked up tables and placed them next to a sofa exactly the same as ours. Ethan also called on the lady designer to help my wife find rugs and tables to best match our sofa. We finally found an end table that was perfect for our needs. Ethan had one in stock and unboxed it and wrapped it in bubble wrap and placed it in our suv. This was the most pleasant shopping experience I have had looking at furniture. Most times I am under enthusiastic looking at items over and over. The staff at this Havertys in Tarpon Springs was not close to where we live but it was worth the drive. Ethan helped make our visit pleasant and even the young ladies that processed my credit card were upbeat and very friendly. Even with the highway 19 roadwork making visiting all businesses along that highway difficult I would still send my friends there for their furniture needs and to ask for Ethan Mann to be their salesman.

I called back and they said they could not find anyone and that it would be up to me to find one in my area. The point is that the quality of the table is horrible. Specifically, it is used only on special occasions and has failed already. I tried leaving a review on the Haverty website, but a message keeps comng up saying"...an ad blocker..is preventing the message...." In other words it seems the site may not accept negative reviews which is why I am posting here. For the extreme price I paid, it is now an eyesore!!!

Ten years ago, I would have rated the overall experience as good to excellent. Ten years later, I rate my overall experience fair to good. The reasons vary but the first disappointment was I didn't realize the bed set up higher than my previous bed. I think my salesman (Shaun) should have noticed my size and given me a heads up the bed would set up higher than what I was used to. The bedroom set is nice other than this. The next disappointment was the delay in delivery. The next disappointment was that 2 drawer handles were damaged and although Kanes customer service replaced them for me, they made it a much bigger production than needed to be.

I called this location specifically & she implied I must have spoken to someone at corporate, because only 1 person was working sunday. I called the Clearwater location 100% & have the outgoing call & duration to prove so. We ended the phone conversation today with no resolve, solution, or a rescheduled date. We were flooded by the hurricane last year & just want to get home. Needless to say, we've been lied to multiple times now & surely will not be purchasing from Kanes again.

The issue was that Macy's has these prices at $200 over what the manufacturer website has (for the basic ZGR)... and won't price match. Nor will they offere free shipping like the manufacturer offers (with free returns also if needed). The manufacturer also throws in an extended warranty for free. So I will probably go with the manufacturer.

I say this for a few reasons; #1 Her charisma, charm and personality make it so very easy to deal with her as well as a zero pressure mindset. #2 Her ability to decipher (what I was trying to explain) what I was looking for seemed to be as easy as reading a book. Victoria's ability to turn my words into a visual interpretation of a product (either standard or custom) really helped me decide which direction to go. #3 Her knowledge of what a company like Hudson's has to offer is like none that I have ever dealt with in the past. Whether it's off the floor or a custom piece she will make it happen. #4 This young lady was dressed and acted like a true professional whom takes great pride in what she does. If you acquire any furniture from Hudson's, strongly recommend you DO NOT buy the warranty…read more Hudson's contracts out the warranty to a third party - "Furniture Care Protection" and they have about the worst warranty service one can get. A piece of our purchase failed in under 5 years (a problem in itself) and Hudson's takes no responsibility. Furniture Care Protection has ordered parts and shipped to the wrong address, only to discover the part was not the cause of the failure. 2-16 weeks - yes, two to SIXTEEN weeks to get the next part. Furniture Care Protection is a scam. Hudson's uses that scam company to eliminate their warranty responsibility. Be careful - DON'T buy the warranty, and think twice about Hudson's as they take zero responsibility for their products once it is at your home.
