    We were looking for an end table and rug to go with our new modular leather sofa that we bought…read morefrom the havertys in Carroll wood. We were helped by a young man named Ethan Mann. Ethan was well dressed, clean cut and well mannered for a 20 year old. We spent a couple of hours looking at items. Ethan picked up tables and placed them next to a sofa exactly the same as ours. Ethan also called on the lady designer to help my wife find rugs and tables to best match our sofa. We finally found an end table that was perfect for our needs. Ethan had one in stock and unboxed it and wrapped it in bubble wrap and placed it in our suv. This was the most pleasant shopping experience I have had looking at furniture. Most times I am under enthusiastic looking at items over and over. The staff at this Havertys in Tarpon Springs was not close to where we live but it was worth the drive. Ethan helped make our visit pleasant and even the young ladies that processed my credit card were upbeat and very friendly. Even with the highway 19 roadwork making visiting all businesses along that highway difficult I would still send my friends there for their furniture needs and to ask for Ethan Mann to be their salesman.

I called back and they said they could not find anyone and that it would be up to me to find one in my area. The point is that the quality of the table is horrible. Specifically, it is used only on special occasions and has failed already. I tried leaving a review on the Haverty website, but a message keeps comng up saying"...an ad blocker..is preventing the message...." In other words it seems the site may not accept negative reviews which is why I am posting here. For the extreme price I paid, it is now an eyesore!!!

Oh my goodness I have NEVER EVER seen someone so rude representing a company like Kanes. When we walked over the counter she was on the phone with a customer. You can hear how rude she was being with the customer on the phone and I knew right off the bat we were going have issues with this lady. We stood there and waited for her to get off the phone and another employee had walked over behind the counter and I proceed to ask her a question since Barbara was on the phone (still being rude to the customer). I started to ask the other lady if this is where we pick up the tickets and Barbara in the middle of her phone call she interrupts me to tell me she's the person that I need to be talking to all while she was still on the phone with a customer she was rude to. I could hear the customer through the phone getting frustrated with her and they just hung up on her. Barbara then hung up the phone and asked me for my reservation code and I handed her the printed paper and she wouldn't take it and told me I needed to read that code to her. If my 10 year old nephew wasn't there Barbara would have heard colorful words from my mouth but he was there so I couldn't. She pulls up our record gave us the ticket and my sister said thank you to her twice! I didn't say thank you because she was so damn rude. I wanted to say something else. We walked away after my sister said thank you to her. We had already taken a few steps away from the counter and with a nasty snarky condescending tone she pipes up "YOU'RE WELCOME!" I came running back so fast and told her "she said thank you to you twice! no ma'am you will not be treating us like this it's apparent you don't have any customer service skills and its probably time for you to hang it up." She started running her mouth and I lost it and finally said "how do they have you working up there dealing with customers with a nasty ass attitude like that?" So needless to say I probably won't EVER get any furniture from Kanes because wow just wow!

    The term "furniture store" does absolutely nothing to describe this business…read more First and foremost I have to say that Victoria K. is a remarkable sales representative. I say this for a few reasons; #1 Her charisma, charm and personality make it so very easy to deal with her as well as a zero pressure mindset. #2 Her ability to decipher (what I was trying to explain) what I was looking for seemed to be as easy as reading a book. Victoria's ability to turn my words into a visual interpretation of a product (either standard or custom) really helped me decide which direction to go. #3 Her knowledge of what a company like Hudson's has to offer is like none that I have ever dealt with in the past. Whether it's off the floor or a custom piece she will make it happen. #4 This young lady was dressed and acted like a true professional whom takes great pride in what she does. I would hope that she is seen as model employee for this company and if not she needs to be identified as such. Because of this young professional and her dedication to the customer (as well as the company) I will recommend to everyone that they go see Ms.Victoria at Hudson's without hesitation.

    If I could give negative five stars, I would…read more Update July 6 purchased May 2nd It has now been well over two months since I ordered my couches, and I still have no confirmed delivery date or reliable information about where they are. Today I spoke with Lisa, the Regional Manager. She explained that she would be contacting the manufacturer when they open today to determine the status of my order because, at this point, she doesn't know where my couches are. That means they could still be sitting in a warehouse, may not have even been loaded for shipment, or could be anywhere in the supply chain. The fact that management cannot provide a clear status after more than two months is unacceptable. The most frustrating part of this experience has been the complete lack of communication. I have repeatedly had to call for updates instead of receiving proactive communication. I have been given multiple estimated arrival dates over the past two months, none of which were honored, and I was never notified of delays unless I reached out first. After going through two hurricanes, my family has been using lawn furniture inside our home for nearly two years while replacing what we lost. I genuinely believed this purchase would finally allow us to have a comfortable place to sit together, especially while my son was home from college. Instead, we are still waiting with no answers. I have documentation of the original delivery date I was promised when I purchased the furniture, along with text messages showing the repeated revised delivery dates and ongoing delays. Customers should not have to chase a company for months simply to find out where their paid for furniture is. My experience has left me feeling that once the sale is made, customer service becomes an afterthought. If you're considering ordering furniture that requires shipping, I strongly encourage you to do your research before purchasing. I would also appreciate being contacted directly by someone in corporate who has the authority to address this situation and provide a clear resolution. I will continue updating this review until my furniture is finally delivered so other customers can see exactly how this experience unfolds.
