The food was delicious actually got the beef stew which was an item that they don't normally sell. That's on their weekly special. Absolutely delicious. The service is amazing. However, the seasoning is just off as they use the same spices for EVERY protein. I think it's Chinese 12 Spice Rub from Rub With Love, available on Amazon. This is disappointing as different entrees SHOULD have different nuances, but Ding Tea doesn't get there. I couldn't eat the vermicelli special because of their seasoning. Being part of the Ding Tea franchise, you KNOW what standard you will get, especially if you have been to other Ding Tea locations around the west coast in cities like LA, Seattle, and Sacramento (locations I have also been to). You just have to know what to order lol. I always love their brown sugar milk tea with brown sugar boba. If the weather is warm out, give their mango green tea with boba a try. You will love it! When we called, the gentleman who answered sounded annoyed.. he was probably the same person working there. He didn't show any customer service, didn't smile, and seemed like he didn't want to be there. What really bothered us was that he told us this is how boba is supposed to be that you can't chew it and have to spit it out. That's unbelievable. Unsatisfied with manager-Went there 3.1.26 with my daughter for lunch. It was empty. (I will say we've had our fair share growing up eating all sorts of different foods, Vietnamese, Japanese, Chinese, Polynesian, etc... so we thought we'd give this place a try for we've never been here). Food ordered: small beef pho, chicken bhan mi, fresh spring rolls, passion fruit tea, and taro milk tea. Food was so-so. Menu stated bhan mi & its fix ins are pickled, they were not. Roll seemed tough. Pho seemed bland. Fresh spring rolls were ok. The passion fruit tea drink I ordered, to me, one sip and I was done. Tasted like I was drinking perfume. It was way too strong -just a weird taste. My daughter took a small sip to see if I was crazy and she thought the same. I've had this kind of tea before and tasted nothing like that. So I put it aside and asked for a diet cake and told our waiter about it. She got my Diet Coke. She was kind and grammar service from her. When we were done, my daughter asked if the tea I orders could be taken off the order. The gentleman who ended up closing our tab, said he'd ask his manager. He came back and said that his manager, Tony, said no he can't take it off because I've already drank the tea. Well yes I "sipped" it and clearly did not drink it. And if I knew how it'd taste I'd clearly not ordered it to begin with and got something else. Even my daughter asked again, and he said sorry he is not going to take it off your order and you have to pay for it. The guy who closed our tab was kind and apologized. The manager in the other hand I feel he could've taken the one drink off. Our bill $52.81 total before tip. Definitely pricey! Not going back. Updating my old review to a five star. They've since added more food items, and considering inflation, they're actually competitive compared to other places. Their bbq pork is surprisingly tender and flavorful. They give a generous serving of it in their pork and wonton ramen. Wontons are okay, not the best I've ever had, but they are also quite generous with the amount they give, which I do appreciate. The broth tastes like pho broth and (because I ordered ramen) they use squiggly ramen noodles, so it's like a Vietnamese version of ramen. Confused when I got here thinking it was a real Ding Tea. It's a vietnamese restaurant with boba, but I think they used Ding Tea's name, I'm not quite sure how that works. The place was completely empty on a very nice and warm Saturday. Strange I thought. Then I understood; Besides one flower wall thrown together in a random section of the restaurant, there's no vibe to want to hangout there at all. The decor and everything did not match what you expect from a boba shop. It's just a typical vietnamese restaurant really So I ordered one of their top recommended, which was a strawberry matcha with pearls. Looked nothing like the pics at all, and was way too sweet. Pearls were OK, a bit on the firm side. Other drink was a mango green tea and also was subpar. 2 drinks came out to $16 for lackluster tea. Very disappointed. If this ever was a real Ding Tea, it's super sad. I honestly would stick to Starbucks or Dutch Bros for drinks until a Sharetea or Boba Guys etc come to town. read more

What a great addition to TC! It is a bit more expensive than other pho places, $18.00 for pho, but you get what you pay for. I really enjoyed the broth and thought it was balanced and clean tasting. They give you plenty to beef too. The noodles were chewy and plenty where you leave full. I was so happy to find banh mi here. Is it truly authentic? Not exactly but close enough. They're missing the shredded pickled daikon and the flavorful spread. Their service was attentive albeit a bit discombobulated. It's like they don't know which table ordered what but they try. They're new and will work out the kinks in time, I hope. The place is clean and modern. I'll definitely be a regular here. read more

The customer service is great. The young people who work there are kind and attentive. I had the chicken bahn mi and it was just mid. I've gone to several Vietnamese restaurants in California, and it's no "Lee's." I was disappointed that my sandwich didn't have the traditional pate spread and I asked for extra daikon, jalapenos and cilantro but instead got two slices of jalapenos, no daikon, and no cilantro. I also got a tea with boba and lychee jelly. It was ok. I've had better. The boba wasn't fresh so, it was pretty chewy. Went there today for the first time first impressions was really good, loved the broth. Disappointed because we did find a bug in our food we let them know and they tried to say it was "cilantro" cilantro doesn't have legs. I didn't argue just paid my tab and left, didn't hear an apology or offer anything wasn't looking for a free meal but customer service was not there. Not even good pho. The table I sat at was dirty, and they are very unprofessional. they show no gratitude for giving them business. As a Vietnamese person that just recently moved to the area, I've been looking for some good pho in town. It was empty when we came in, which makes me sad because the service and the food was genuinely good. I ordered the beef combo pho, and it came with a big meaty beef bone which I really enjoyed. The broth was beefy and flavorful, it reminded me of my mom's pho back home. They certainly didn't skimp out on the meat, like other places I've tried. Ordered the beef pho on Monday night. The broth tasted great, but there was barely any meat in my soup. Would have been great to see a larger portion of meat. My pho only had about 5 slices of meatballs and a handful of sliced beef. No tripe that I could identify as mentioned on the menu. Everything was delicious, however. First time here. Beef pho was good. Certainly enjoyed the tender beef rib. Something I haven't seen in a while. Sliced lean beef and meatballs were good. Missed the tripe and tendon. Lots of nice chewy noodles. My second favorite to the rib. $23 for a bowl of pho is steep but I suppose to be expected during these times.
