Probably at least three food venues have failed at this location. The volume of customers is not great. Hours are limited. If you have to stand at the entrance and wait for one of the two waitresses to seat you because they are chatting with the regulars, you leave and don't come back!!!! read more

Some recent reviews were critical of the service but Jess M was friendly with a great smile. Had the pastrami with onion rings and all came out hot and delicious. We arrived & were seated. 4 other tables arrived after us, had their orders taken, & some even served food before they got to us. We waited over an hour watching others who arrived even later get food. When it came up, it sat there. We got 1 glass of water, and they were too busy to refill. Our waitress arrived just after us, so they were off to a slow start, but this was totally inadequate service. The kitchen staff seemed to have a lot of fun, but four people in the kitchen laughing and talking, not filling orders isn't good service. Been wanting to come here for a while and with the change in weather, yesterday was the perfect day. We sat outside in the shade, facing the water and enjoyed their 3-5pm happy hour specials. Had a blast. You can hit some buckets of balls just steps from your table. Very casual. Server was great. She checked on us often. read more

I don't really know what happened to Foodies, but the quality has definitely gone down. I ordered one of their cocktails and it was poorly made and poorly balanced, it kind of reminded me of a drink that gets tossed together at a busy night club. The nachos were bad in particular. We ordered ours with blackened chicken and I SWEAR there was maybe 5 sorry pieces of chicken on the whole thing. Not to mention, the majority of the cheese wasn't even melted. I'll include a picture (we messed them up a little looking for the meat). Our entrees took a long time to come out and by that time we had lost our appetites. The honey bbq wings weren't worth the wait. Again, a staple that seems pretty hard to mess up. Only plus was the dry rub cajun wings. Stopped by the food spot at the golf course in Kennewick and had an awesome experience thanks to Dustin. That young man is doing things right. From the moment we walked up he was friendly, respectful, and on top of everything. Service was quick, the food came out great, and he made sure everyone had what they needed without us even having to ask. You can tell he takes pride in his work and actually cares about the people coming through. That kind of attitude makes a big difference and honestly made the whole stop better. Hot Sunday and I didnt want to cook but I was starving. We seldom eat out and places like Foodies are the reason why. The place was practically empty We picked Foodies because my husband wanted fish and chips but they were out of fried fish. WE should have just walked out then. He ended up getting a hamburger with an egg on top which he thought was pretty good. My grandson ate half a pork sandwich and took the rest home... no kids menu . My feast de resistance was a salmon crepe, a special, with berry sauce. The salmon was old dry and extremely salty. I considered taking home to a stray cat but like I said I shaking hungry. The waitress was running her legs off so didnt bring us our cutlery. I think the only reason this place stays open is because they have unsuspecting golfers coming off the coarse hungry and thirsty. The food was amazing!! 12/10 ! Rating 4 / 5 because the food saved you all. The steak bites with whipped Gorgonzola and naan bread. The wings, I didn't know everyone else was doing wings INCORRECTLY. Service was ROUGH tonight though. It's a beautiful spot. We walked in about 4:58 and were seated by 5 or 5:01. Wasn't crazy busy. Took a while to take our order. It ended up being 55 minutes until we got our first drink order!! The food came out a little before that, maybe 40 mins after sitting there. We almost just said forget about the drinks. Maybe it was just an off night but it was so slow today. We might have had 2-3 rounds of drinks. We stopped here on our way to Sandpoint, Idaho from Portland. The setting is lovely! You're situated on a golf course that may also be a park, because kids were kicking a soccer ball. If you sit outside, you can watch the golfers and the beautiful river across the street. Service was good. I didn't catch our server's name, but he made honest suggestions about the menu that served us well. The menu is extensive and has something for everyone. I ordered the black and blue Caesar and my mom ordered the fish and chips. The Caesar was delicious and rich, with blue cheese crumbles, bacon and tortilla strips, along with grilled chicken. Was driving through and stopped for quick lunch. The restaurant sits on an executive 3 hole golf course with a view of the river. Had a bowl of chili made with brisket. Spicy but very good. Hubby had chopped salad. It was huge and had everything in it. read more

Had the wings and guacamole. Surprisingly the food and drinks both appeared at the same time, no more than 10 minutes after we arrived. Never had wings served so quickly. They were not hot. We are so glad we stopped here on our way through town! Dustin went above and beyond with great service and recommendations. Everything we had was great..... the fish and chips, tater tots, soup, pork tacos, Philly cheesesteak and burger. On a recent trip to Kennewick for a band competition we decided to stop by Foodies for lunch based on good Yelp reviews. The location is great, being right on the river and golf course. The special drink, a pumpkin pie type martini, was tasty. We ordered fried pickles for an appetizer, which were quick to arrive and tasty. That's where the good stops. For the next hour and fifteen minutes we watched as five other groups (who came in after us) got their meals, paid, and left. As it became more obvious that our food had been forgotten I asked the server if we could speak to a manger. At this point the service knew we were upset and was basically ghosting us in order to avoid having to tell us our food was not yet ready. I saw the food sitting in the window, 3/4 of the meal to be exact. My mother-in-law's hot dog (of all things) was the only item not in the pass. It arrived hot and fresh while the rest of our food sat, cold and dying. The manager, who was sitting at a table behind us the whole time, came up and gave us two options: take the cold, old meal home and receive a comp, or have hot fresh food brought out. Ridiculous! This little gem located next to a golf course did not disappoint!!! Me and my friend sat out side because not only is it by the golf course but right across the street was Lake Wallula. It was a beautiful sunny day so we enjoyed the sunshine and the scenery. We ordered wings ( they were fire) you have three different heat levels you can choose from. My buddy doesn't eat the heat so had to get a level 1. Next up for me was the Western Burger with fries!!! This burger was huge and delicious. The onion rings were as big as the patty. I worked with the owner of Eat Foodies, Christina, to arrange a team dinner for about 36 guests. She created a players table in the center and parents seated around them. Our team had a lovely dinner! Food & service was amazing! I do recommend the mushroom swiss burger and would suggest the fry sauce to go with the seasoned fries! First I would like to say the food was average, nothing to brag about. Second I would like to talk about the service. The service was horrible. Myself and one other stopped by for lunch (11:07 am). We were seated almost immediately on the patio, it was a great day to eat outside. After being seated it took 15 min plus before we were even approached to see if we wanted anything to drink. Once we received our drinks, Iced Tea (which was supposed to be a sweet tea, the server neglected to mention they don't have sweet tea). We ordered two different burgers with sweet potato fries from the menu at that time. After around 45 minutes plus, we asked our server how long it had been since our order had been put in, she replied 8 minutes (WOW REALLY). After over an hour since we ordered we finally received our food, it was barely warm. The fries were tasty and came with ranch to dip them in. The burgers were very average and the patty's appeared to be pre-made not fresh. As for the server she wasn't very attentive. She didn't stop to see how our food was until almost finished. After she asked how we were doing and asking for more beverages, my friend received a second tea after over an hour and I asked for some more water once she checked on us. The server brought back a bottle with water in it and poured it in my existing glass and sat the bottle down. I'm glad I looked at the bottle prior to drinking my water as there was stuff/debris floating in the bottle (disgusting) I didn't not drink the water. We asked for separate checks she did not listen and brought one. We asked to speak to the manager. It took him a few minutes to come to our table as they had become very busy (when we originally arrived there was just a few tables with people seated). Once arriving my friend began explain the events and how long it took and the water bottle along with the service and food quality. He (the manager) was apologetic and excepted responsibility. He gave us a gift card to hopefully have us return and have a meal on him, he said. Unfortunately later we checked the Foodies gift card we had been given and it had a ZERO ($0.00) balance. We were driving through on our way to visit family and needed to find a place to grab some food on our trip. We ordered the All American, French Dip, and two hamburger Pattie's with cheddar cheese, lettuce, tomato, and onions no condiments, no sides. They did a great job putting the order together and keeping everything separated as my husband has food allergies. Comparing Foodies to other places we we forced ourselves to eat at while on the road I would say Foodies is a place that was worth the stop. The only thing I didn't enjoy was my garlic Parmesan fries, it was plain fries with large shaved chunks of Parmesan that didn't add anything to the fries it would've been so much better had they seasoned the fries a tidge and grated Parmesan tossed with parsley...that would've made for a tasty meal! read more

Where to even begin... I heard great things about this place but it was such a disappointment. The service was horrible. I was mostly ignored. The steak bites were very overcooked, well done and they're supposed to be medium rare. I ordered a burger that doesn't come with pickles and they put pickles on it, which is fine but our server didn't check in on our food once. Steak tacos very overcooked. We took two bites of the food and it wasn't good. The bartender is a young male who spent most of his time very loudly regurgitating Joe Rogan and stating that "feminism is brainwashing b*llsh*t"... texting quite a bit. I've been a server and I'm all good with playing on your phone but you can't neglect customers. It was such an odd experience. I'm typically kind and easy to please, tip well, and am fine with mistakes, but even after being made aware they took off the ranch that they forgot to bring lol. It was almost comical how bad this was. Tangerine Hefeweizen was good after I got it. I want to try again bc the reviews are so good, but I'll definitely need to return when there is different staff or go to the Richland location. read more
