No appointment, I just happened to be in the area. Dino and Cat were very welcoming when I walked in, they told me to help myself to a beverage up front. They also have one of those mini NES systems hooked up, so that was a nice time killer while the family in front of me finished up. Very pleased with the haircut and I felt a little pampered by the attention to detail, aftershave, and general welcoming atmosphere. And it was only $15, definitely can't beat that! I live in Hamden but I will probably make the trip for this place because it was so good. Definitely skip the chain haircutter and give this place a shot if you're in the area.
