We came last year as well and it was much bigger this year. It occurs every father's day weekend, Saturday, 9am to 5pm and Sunday, 9am to 4:30pm. Parking is free and admission is $6 dollars for adults, $5 for seniors (65 and over) and kids 12 and under and exhibitors are free. There are a lot of booths with antique items that can be repurposed, lots of food trucks and booths, old engine and tractor demonstrations and tractor pulls. There is the Pottsville museum on the grounds and a small old car museum. There were even a few carnival rides. There are tractor shuttles to and from the parking lot. This is a true downtime country event. Lots of good bargains and lots of food good for any taste.

We chose to come to Plaisance, one, to taste some good wine but also to grab some beef on our way to my grandpas house. He lives less than 15 min away and we have to pass the ranch to get to his house. I'm terrible with names but the person who was working was great. She was so welcoming and gracious. She even gave us a bit of a mini tour, which I thought was really sweet. The grounds are gorgeous. I kept saying "bucolic" over and over while I was there. You can sip on a flight while staring out at green pastures and grazing cows (and maybe even a sleepy puppy). We were able to get some steaks. They were ok. The wine is fantastic and I love they put into each bottle. I'd love to come back one day and try more wine varieties and get to meet the owner. My grandpa said that they went to high school together!
