First time trying this place.... Never again the fried chicken was nasty not what I had in mind and not what you expect the chicken to look like the noodles were stale with no flavor. The sauce for the egg rolls nasty and the cherry on top THE SALAD WHO PUTS KETCHUP ON SALAD! Not worth it. I ordered chow mein and chicken and it was unseasoned and I found a hair in the food.

I lived in Dinuba for 64 1/2 years. I've eaten at Dinuba restaurant more times today was the worst that I've ever received out of there. I worked there as a kid. I'll never spend another dollar there. The food was terrible. read more

A Chinese restaurant without eggrolls I was like SMH... The price was excellent way cheaper and better then Panda Express. The only problem is the menu it's like. Stereo instructions, example I Oder Chow-main shrimp with sweet-and-sour pork fried rice and I Chow-main came with only 2 shrimp lol . I think if they had picture Menu people would know what exactly they are ordering. Other than that everything was great. read more

What happened to this place? I have been eating here for more than 50 years and the food has been consistently GOOD. We live a few miles away and my wife has business in Dinuba once in a while and thus she will bring a to-go-order home (about a 35 minute drive). The egg rolls USED TO BE extremely good, fresh and tasty. These new egg rolls are bland and dense. Honestly, they ruined to rest of the take-home food. The pork fried rice used to have some bigger bits of pork and fried egg. It was white with chunky bits of goodness. The brownish rice looked and tasted like it was doused in soy sauce. Compared to the old pork fried rice, this rice has little texture and taste difference. The special fried chicken is no longer special. It was greasy and tasted of duck fat. The pork strips on the pork chow mien tasted nasty. The old pork on this dish was something I could eat a bowlful. This new pork was dry and salty. The dishes now cost a bunch more. I would gladly pay the extra for the old food tastes... but these new prices are too much for this awful food. I have no plans to return. I will dream while having fond memories of how it used to be. Good bye, Special Fried Chicken, you WERE the best!!! read more

I love there food I always brought my kids there but know they don't let people sit inside anymore they only do pickups.

I've been coming here since i was a kid and i love it!!!!! I read all these crazy reviews and while they do make some sense you gotta remember that this aint fine dining and it's cheap!!!!! i kinda expect stuff to be bought in bulk and some of it frozen lol.. For what it is, the food is tasty, made to order and it comes out fast with a bill that wont burn a hole in your pocket. It's a Dinuba MUST!!!!!! read more

I think for some Dinubians it comes down to what side of town you grew up in. As far as everything else I really don't care for. This was such a disappointing experience! I'm in Dinuba for work and have never gone to any of the local restaurants so I was excited to find this place until I actually got there. Waited for 20 minutes for my food only for it to be the wrong item, (I wanted broccoli shrimp and got some scary looking mush instead) then waited another five minutes for them to fix it only to find literally 6 shrimp in my order LOL! The Kung pao was anything but that, so needless to say all I had was rice and a few shrimp for lunch! read more

This is THE BEST Chinese food in the world!!.. I must admit though, that I only ever get one thing there (haha). Ask anyone who's been there (with operating taste buds) and they'll tell you, "Get the FRIED CHICKEN SPECIAL, no salad" haha.. And every once in a while I forget to say "no salad", and the salad is good too! So it's a simple dish.. FRIED CHICKEN, and RICE.... That's it!! But I'd eat it every day, all day if I could.... I often drive to Dinuba JUST to eat there. The staff is always very friendly and accommodating. And they're always working so hard because the place is always so busy! I can't say enough good things about this place. To me, it's perfection! ..... and now I'm hungry... Dang it! read more

I have to agree with most post about the Chicken Special all rice being the best plate! I'm 26 and the place has never changed, there was a rumor about the chicken special being made from alley cats, very funny. cat or chicken I love this place and most of my friends from out of town enjoy it very much. Omgsh worst experience ever! My grandparents love this place and invited me out! I was excited to try it since they both said great things about this place but this place was the opposite. While waiting for my food (i was sitting by a window) a cockroach crawled out but the crawled back in the hole: I didn't say anything. Food got here and it wasn't tasty at all. While we were eating a cockroach is on the floor the total opposite of where i saw the cockroach before meaning it was a different one was crawling by my grandfathers feet. My grandfather stepped on it and as he went to tell the waitress the cockroach crawls out by the window. We're never going back again we saw 3 roaches in the span of 35 minutes. read more

Today I ordered Mongolian beef plate. The food had a smell of old oil. The beef had a freezer taste to it. Vegetables had a film on them. As if Bennett in refridgorator too long. This is so below the standards I remember for this place. When I informed the owner. I was refunded my money at my request I was treated very rudely and my money was tossed at me rather then placed in my hands. Such a disappointment! I would no longer recommend this as a place to eat and further more I believe the restaurant needs to be inspected be for health violations. read more

I ordered a combo plate: fried rice, crispy chow mein, and sweet and sour pork. Nothing special. The fried rice was too bland, that I had to cover it in sweet and sour sauce. The chow mien had ok flavor, not amazing. The sweet and sour pork was very disappointing, too sweet. Not the kind of food you would expect from a good chinese place. I hadn't been to this place since I was a kid so I thought I would go with my dad and sis to re live some memories. Worst decision ever! The food was absolutely disgusting! And this is coming from someone who isn't a picky eater. I got a chicken dish with both rice and noodles. The chicken tasted old and as if it had been in the freezer for too long, rice and noodles were flavorless. I also ordered egg rolls which were swimming in oil, I used about 7 napkins to try and soak up the oil. My sister got won ton soup and broccoli chicken. The beef in the soup was chewy, I had to spit it out from how gross it was. Sister said the same about the chicken taste. My dad seemed to have not minded his shrimp dish but he eats anything lol! Oh and they charge for sweet and sour sauce. Wth? Who sells egg rolls and charges for sweet and sour sauce?! Ridiculous. read more
