    House Special Chop Suey
    Kyra K.

Pretty mid-Chinese food if you know Chinese food. Pretty decent Chinese food if you live in Reedley, lol. My Grandma only likes three cuisines--Chinese being one of them. Being in town, she requested we get dinner here. The restaurant has been around for years. I remember coming here as a kid but now as an adult, we rarely dine here. Not much has changed. It gives a neighborhood restaurant vibe--cozy, and smallish, fish tank, and artwork. Service was alright, not really friendly but just that they were trying to get their job done. I called in our order and everything came out fine and semi-fast. Grandma and I shared the House Special Chop Suey and Sweet and Sour Pork. The portions are quite big and the entrees come out to over $15 per dish. A bit steep for the quality. The Chop Suey was our favorite--a bit of everything and nicely sauced. We'd order this again and again! Sweet and sour pork was underwhelming. No seasoning, vegetables are practically hard and still raw, and barely any pork under all the fried stuff. Wouldn't order that again. If you live in Reedley, there are only two Chinese restaurants and Sun China Chinese Restaurant is one of them. Depending on the dish it can either be a hit or miss. I wouldn't come back for myself but would if my Grandma or family were craving it.

Wow! Haven't been here in years! The food was awesome! They made my mom a special plate due to dental issues, they have the R E A L hot mustard w/ ketchup that I love, food was piping hot and delish! Service was awesome! Erin was our server! Helpful and friendly. Ambiance was cool. Overall we just found our Chinese spot in Reedley.

Food was really good we all got plates with soup that was made fresh as they were busy the night we went . This was our first time there. And I really enjoyed it.

Great service, very welcoming staff , they go the extra mile to make the customer happy. The food was prepared quickly and was tasty and fresh.. only negative was it's under staffed, one waitress for the whole floor , but she really do a great job still. I will return, hopefully with more staff

#3 Broccoli, sweet & sour chicken, chow mein, fried rice, won-tons, fried chicken wings, shrimps, and if you dine in you get bowl of soup.

This is the #3-Broccoli chicken w/sweet & sour chicken, which was delicious! This comes with a won-ton, two fried chicken wings, and two fried shrimp for $16, plus what you see in the picture. So, they were pretty busy with dine-in customers & phone orders were off the hook! With that being said, the hostess taking the orders provided exceptional customer service in person and via telephone. I definitely recommend this restaurant. It has a gives off a chill vibe not to mention...restaurant was clean and they have large round tables (seats 6-7) to enjoy dining with friend's & family. Enjoy and buen provecho to all!!

Had to wait 45 minutes to get my takeout. I tried calling but got put on hold and they never came back. Food was okay but I've had better.

We were seated almost right away, which was a great start to the experience. We ordered several dim sum dishes, including the Pork Barbecue Buns, Custard Buns, Deep Fried Taro, Pork Siu-Mai, and Fried Squid, and every single item was delicious. The flavors were spot on, and everything tasted fresh and well made. The servers were also friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout our meal. Our food was for pickup and everything was ready on time and piping hot. We ordered a lot because we weren't sure of the portion sizes, but they were massive so we had leftovers for days! We ordered steamed pork buns, orange chicken, crispy sweet and sour pork, beef and broccoli, low mein, and Yangzhou Fried Rice. Everything was delicious and loaded with flavor. The standouts were the yangzhou fried rice which comes with shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Loved all the meat here and big chunks of veggies. We all loved the orange chicken and the crispy fried pork especially. I tried to get my kids to sample the steam pork buns, but they wouldn't, which just meant more for me! Pillowy soft and full of tender BBQ pork, they were my fave. Truly a hidden gem right in the heart of Clovis!

But my friends who recommended it they've came but only for the drinks on the Lum Lums side. Hong Kong is the the food side apparently. So I ordered the Shrimp Fu Yung. I got stir fried shrimp with veggies over a clump of breaded onion. The shrimp was over cooked veggies were fine. The breaded onion seemed like it might have been reheated from a previous unused dish. If it wasn't for the gravy it wouldn't have rehydrated. Wasn't this an Egg Foo Yung dish, instead it was a clump of breaded onions. That's how bad it was. This place was busy but don't know why. The other people I was with ordered lemon chicken, orange chicken, fried rice, fried plain wontons, sweet and sour chicken. They all seem to enjoy it. They received a lot of food. But a lot was taken home as leftovers. My friends are also non-Asian and not a big foodie like me. So take that however you want. It's sad when businesses close but to make a highly traditional dish like egg foo yung terrible, that is a sign.
