Sun China has consistently served good meals to my family for over a decade now. We've ordered dine-in and take-out, and have enjoyed our food, which has primarily been: chicken salad, chow mein, and rice. We've ordered other menu items, such as sesame chicken and egg foo young and we've liked those as well. While there's nothing wrong with dining in, I've personally preferred picking up food for take-out. Part of the reason for this is that the restaurant can get a bit cramped during peak times and there can be a lot happening with ordering, bussing tables, and whatnot. However, dining in during non-peak times has been delightful. I recommend eating at/ordering food from Sun China! I'm glad to eat here when visiting home, and am happy to experience a consistent level of quality when it comes to the food and service. read more

We came to get our take out order and there was the dirty looking woman talking to customers and taking plates to the back. She had revealing clothes and messy hair. I heard some body say that she is a local homeless woman around here. That's not appropriate! I'm never coming here again!! read more

We have been frequenting this restaurant for years. The service and especially the food have always been excellent. The orange chicken and pork chow mien are favorites. Don't pass on the Pot Stickers, very tasty. The interior appears to have undergone a makeover, this is very noticeable. We will definitely be back. read more

Pretty mid-Chinese food if you know Chinese food. Pretty decent Chinese food if you live in Reedley, lol. My Grandma only likes three cuisines--Chinese being one of them. Being in town, she requested we get dinner here. The restaurant has been around for years. I remember coming here as a kid but now as an adult, we rarely dine here. Not much has changed. It gives a neighborhood restaurant vibe--cozy, and smallish, fish tank, and artwork. Service was alright, not really friendly but just that they were trying to get their job done. I called in our order and everything came out fine and semi-fast. Grandma and I shared the House Special Chop Suey and Sweet and Sour Pork. The portions are quite big and the entrees come out to over $15 per dish. A bit steep for the quality. The Chop Suey was our favorite--a bit of everything and nicely sauced. We'd order this again and again! Sweet and sour pork was underwhelming. No seasoning, vegetables are practically hard and still raw, and barely any pork under all the fried stuff. Wouldn't order that again. If you live in Reedley, there are only two Chinese restaurants and Sun China Chinese Restaurant is one of them. Depending on the dish it can either be a hit or miss. I wouldn't come back for myself but would if my Grandma or family were craving it. read more

This is the #3-Broccoli chicken w/sweet & sour chicken, which was delicious! This comes with a won-ton, two fried chicken wings, and two fried shrimp for $16, plus what you see in the picture. So, they were pretty busy with dine-in customers & phone orders were off the hook! With that being said, the hostess taking the orders provided exceptional customer service in person and via telephone. I definitely recommend this restaurant. My mom has been going here for her won ton soups and she's really sick at home and has no way of getting some of their delicious ,soothing soup, full flavorful, like how grandma makes it - war won ton soup for the soul ! I called them and told her I'm her daughter but I don't live close ( LA) and I wanted to get her some soup . They were kind enough to take some to her !! I went in twice to this restaurant and I did not enjoy their food. Once was for their egg foo young and it tasted nothing like it! The second time I went in I really wanted some crab wontons and for 6 it was $14! Way over priced! They weren't good either.I was trying to give them a second chance to see if maybe the first time was just a bad day for them but nope! Not going back there again. I'll just go to a closer town and get the same amount of wontons for $5. read more

I've only been here one time for dine in and had a great experience. I've had take out from the Sun China in Sanger a few more times-equally as delicious. Large portions served family style.
