I loved the food at Golden Dragon! Great service, too. The ladies there were super nice. Our car club was there as a group of 40, so we had 8 at each round table. Large glasses of ice water were waiting for us already when we arrived. Our appetizers and dinner items were served family style, a big serving to pass around the table. She recommended a good dish with black bean sauce and garlic that was very tasty. The pot stickers were delicious, and you get eight pieces! We stopped in Selma on our way back to Washington. Glad I read the Yelp reviews before dining here. Old school Chinese restaurant with old school menu items. Thought I was in Chinatown in Seattle! The owner chatted with us for a while as we were early for the dinner hour. Very nice lady who has been in this family owned authentic restaurant for over 30 years! We talked about how the Asian businesses have changed over the years with the majority of her loyal customers are now deceased and their children have moved away. Being Japanese I can relate to having a go-to Chinese restaurant with the family for special occasions and just a family outing. The food was sensational! They had items on the menu that are only available at REAL Chinese restaurants! We ordered Beef Chowfun, Chinese green beans in black bean sauce and chicken with snow peas. The flavors of eat dish was out of this world! Each had its own distinct flavor and texture. This is how Chinese food should be cooked, served and enjoyed! My husband and I started going to Golden Dragon when he became pastor of First Friendship Baptist Church. What started out as Sunday Dinner soon became the only place for us, as we will drive from Fresno sometimes twice a week. Stopped by here for lunch while out in the area for work. I was a little reluctant, but went on a whim based on the good reviews. My coworker and I went around 12:30ish and the place was pretty empty. It was just us and one other table during our time there. The lady that helped us was super friendly and welcoming! Reviews do not lie about how nice she is. During our time there, it seemed like she was the only one working. She worked the front and back. One man team! Except, while she was in the kitchen prepping and cooking, someone had come in to pick up their order and was waiting for awhile til she came out to help her. That could be frustrating to some customers if no one was around to help for awhile. I ordered the lunch combination which came with Chow mein, fried rice, egg rolls and broccoli beef. The egg rolls were ok, but the Chow mein, fried rice, broccoli beef all came out pretty good. My coworker said his mushroom with beef and chicken plate was good too. Overall, the food is good. And the lady is super nice and hardworking! Kudos to her for managing the front and cooking and being a speedy worker, but could be a bad thing if it was busy. read more

This place has a home cooked Chinese feel. Wow, is the food tasty! Honestly for the pricing and the amount I can't even complain. The restaurant is ran by a family and the lady at the front is so sweet. She always asks if the food is good and if not she tries to make it better by throwing an order of appetizers or flat out remakes the dish. I just fell in love with the humbleness of this place. It literally felt like you were having dinner at home with family. It is a family owned restaurant. Husband and wife cook all the food. Please be understanding when they do close, it is because they are spending time with their three wonderful children. The customer service is EXCELLENT! Everything we tried was delicious. The fried rice was addicting. You can't stop eating it. The potstickers were cooked perfectly, great tasting, with the perfect sear. My usual personal favorite, the bbq pork did not disappoint.
