I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly we were able to get a new fireplace insert installed. It was much faster than we expected. This is one of the worst companies I have ever experienced. They installed a Lennox furnace and…read moreheat pump for me, all of it installed incorrectly. installers refused to believe me when I told them it was not blowing warm air and just walked out leaving behind garbage, scratches in the floor, damaged flooring transition and sawdust everywhere. That night I set heat to 22 and woke up freezing with temp showing 18.5. The system didn't work so I called the next day and a technician was sent out. He said the whole thing was installed wrong and he made it safe to operate and gave us heat through furnace since heat pump not working. Second set of installers spent another whole day fixing all the problems from the first guys. now that summer is here, cooling function on heat pump also not working and they have been back 7 times to try to make it work. Last going off they simply told me to close the vents in the basement, which meant no air flow and extensive dampness. They clearly sold me a defective heat pump and are unable to make it work and are trying anything to prevent having to replace the system, even if it means creating space too warm to live in and causing mold. I have requested they replace the heat pump with an air conditioner and they have so far refused. Do not hire these guys. They don't know what they are doing and they don't honor their warranty.

The duct connecting the bathroom fan to the exhaust opening out the roof became disconnected. So moisture from the bathroom was being blown into the attic space (and creating moisture damage). I called the guys at Dr. Duct and they were able to come a few weeks later. When the guys came, they were very courteous and even took their shoes off as not to track dirt and snow into the house. The climbed up into the attic and took a "before" picture. They then re-connected the duct and held it in place with 2 screws and some duct tape. They then took an "after" picture. They showed us both pictures to show us what they had done. It was a quick job and they were in and out in less than 30 minutes. The cost was reasonable. I have not had any other services from this company, but I was happy with the job they did, and I would not hesitate to hire them for duct cleaning in the future.
