WORST EXPERIENCE IN FLEMINGTON! I went there at the end of July. When I called to make my appt, I said I already had color gels and and needed a fill. I told them I wanted "pink/whites" they gave me the price over the phone (can't recall exactly what it was, but ~$40). First opportunity they had to clarify that if I didn't have pink and whites on my nails that they would need to apply a new set and it would cost as twice as much. I wanted to try the place as many coworkers go there and seem to like it. I asked to be scheduled with the most popular/experienced person who does gels. They scheduled me with Lena. I walked into the salon and was impressed with it's cleanliness/decor. They also had an impressive gel color selection. (the only 2 positives of this place) I showed up on time, waited at least 30min for my appt. I was attended by a male (I believe he's one of the owners). Prior to getting started he DID NOT explain: 1. he would need to remove all my gels COMPLETELY 2. he was doing an INITIAL GEL SET OF PINK AND WHITES (which carries a significant price differential, i.e. $70, not what I was quoted over the phone. I found all this out when it came time to pay at the end). 3. in reality i did NOT need pink and whites since i wasn't planning on having a permanent french manicure. I told him i was testing the salon out for my wedding french manicure and that I usually get gel color over my gel nails. at which point he should have just offered to fill my gels and do a gel french manicure. I'm new to the world of gel nails and didn't realize at that time that it was even an option. So he proceeded to completely remove all my gels and file down my nails to completely nothing. He did NOT put on the sticker extensions to elongate them after. I explained in the beginning before he got started, I like a NATURAL look (NOT TOO SQUARE AND NOT TOO ROUNDED) with a thin/elegant french line. he started doing the gels and was applying a very thick line. I kept saying, "it's too thick, I want it thinner." He kept reassuring me it's going to look great this is how it's supposed to look. When he was filing my nails at the end they were complete wide square boxes and again I repeated I wanted a natural look with round soft edges. 1.5 hours later and $70, I left EXTREMELY upset and taken advantage of. I told them that when I called that wasn't the price quoted to me. In reality, it was def my fault for not confirming the price prior to him starting. Icing on the cake- The moment I walked out and the sun hit my nails I noticed several bubbles in some of my nails. I walked back and tried to politely show it to them. They weren't interested. At that point they already had my money, so what was the point of trying to make things better? WORST NAIL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. I got my acrylics removed and gel put on and they looked terrible. All of them where completely uneven and three of them bled. When I asked the lady who did them (the owner) if there was anything she could do to fix them she got angry and refused to help me. This has happened to me multiple times, when you ask for anything to be fixed or redone the staff becomes very irritated and rude. Absolutely do not recommend. read more

This salon deserves more stars! They were all very friendly and my artist did exactly what I wanted asking me questions along the way. No cuts and they're shaped nicely. I got gel nails and they looked awful. There was extra polish all over my nails and they did not look neat. They only did two coats so the polish is extremely see through. My polish is also starting to lift, this shouldn't happen in six days. When i walked in they were very pushy with gel nails and promised it would last 2-3 weeks and it only lasted six days. I was happy here until my girl left, I had the owner do my nails and had to go back because they were all uneven and the gel was really thick, I wondered why her husband was watching her like a hawk the whole time she did my nails, she's not very good! She also took personal phone calls while doing my nails, and she kept getting up and walking away and was very distracted, they actually said that I should go to another person in the salon the next time I came in, THAT SAYS A LOT! I just had a pedicure and a gel manicure here, there was a sign in the salon to speak to the manager if I had any concerns, I'm pretty sure the manager was my technician- she continually took calls while doing my nails, I hate that- but the real reason I put this bad review are the FILTHY, STAINED towels she was using, I was too embarrassed to say anything but I assure you I will NEVER return, and the entire salon stunk of fish, I find a recurrent theme at salons, they open up, everything is clean, then eventually everything gets seedy but the prices stay the same, I still left an appropriate tip, but this is the real tip, clean up your act! read more

My first experience here was a very good one. I had an appointment that started on time. The staff are all very professional and polite. The technician that handled my acrylic fills did an excellent job. I am very fussy so that means a lot to me. I would definitely patronize this business again. Horrible experience unless you are a regular customer. I made an appointment for myself and 11 year old daughter 3 weeks prior. I was taken at 10:05, my daughter not until 10:22. She was then done at 10:30, this was suppose to be an experience, it was just not very good. We won't be going back again ever. read more

THE worst manicure- pedicure I have ever had! I will not go back. The pedicure was painful and rushed. She poked me with the cuticle cutters the whole time- I thought maybe she was unable to actually see, but when I watched her I realized that she was just going as fast as possible. She skipped scrubbing the soles of my feet, gave me a non-existant "massage" on my legs for 3 strokes and squeezed my feet twice. The same went for the manicure but she also washed her hands and forearms over the bowl that she gave me to soak my nails... in her dirty water! Surprisingly, the nail polish looks decent but the nail shape is not that good To top it off she made rude comments about black people. I am white but I was really offended! Owners are rude to their customers, I don't know why they even bother taking appointments over the phone. They almost never follow through with scheduled appointments on time because they will take a walk in if they enter before you , you snooze you lose I guess. Psh. Not to mention, they have no respect for their employees, who are constantly being publicly belittled by the bosses. Nothing is personalized to the needs of the client. I will never go back there, especially because of how pretentious they are these days. I had a 1:00 appointment and when I walked in (on time!) they sat me down and said 5 minutes. Then a walk in arrived, with her Louis Vuitton bag, Chanel sunglasses and Burberry jacket, clearly this women had it made. They took her immediately and I ended up waiting 45 minutes after the 5 I was told to wait... Because she can clearly afford to give a higher tip... and I also went one other time to get acrylics and I asked to have the owner and because she took someone else I got left with Jimmy who cut my finger with the drill. A friend and I were trying to find a reputable nail salon to go to that was open on Sundays (not an easy feat), and three coworkers had recommended that we try out Dior nails. From the time we walked in, to walking out with the finished product, I have never felt more confident in a nail salon or technician! They did an excellent job of doing my nails exactly the way I described them. They helped me choose some colors based on my description of what I wanted, and their picks were right on point! The atmosphere was quiet and calm, without the typical televisions that most nail techs pay more attention to than doing my nails. I was able to have a conversation with not only my nail tech, but the others as well, and they were all incredibly friendly and welcoming right off the bat. I moved to Hunterdon county 3 years ago, and had yet to find a salon that was up to par with my expectations. Now, I will never go anyplace else. The prices are better or on par with other salons in the area, but the quality is way better than any other salon I have tried in Hunterdon county. Can't wait to go back in a few weeks for my next manicure, and to try out all of their other services as well!!! read more

Good enough job on my nails, BUT BEWARE OF THE UP SALE. I've gone here a few times when they weren't too busy and they did a good job in a decent amount of time, but today I went before Fourth of July weekend and it was the worst experience I've ever had. 1. They were 30 minutes late and I had an appointment 2. They rushed me out of the door. 3. I told them repeatedly that I wanted a certain basic polish and without saying a word to me they started giving me a gel manicure (that costs an additional $15) I asked them if it was more money and they said nothing. Then when they tried to switch my color and I protested they told me it was too late they had done the gel and now I had to pick a gel color (which wouldn't match my outfit). I'm ok with someone trying to make the up sale but at least give me the option. The lack of honesty is what lost me as a costumer forever. It's a shame, but if you're looking for a place I would suggest Princess Nails in Flemington. They are always busy, but atleast they are upfront with you. read more

I went there for the first time today, and was pleasantly surprised!! Everyone was super sweet and welcoming upon arrival, and were able to sit me down as soon as I got there. Some places are understaffed for the weekend (when you would think they would have more people working for the busier crowds) but not this place. I had never gotten acrylics before, but they explained everything, and were so helpful! They have so many options, and after talking to some regulars, I found out that they get new colors very often. I even got a color changing polish! It was really clean, and such a great environment. My nails came out great, they took their time to make sure they were perfect, even asking me before they were done if I wanted anything fixed. (I did ask if they could make them into more an almond shape, and they were glad to do it!) I am definitely going to come here again, it was so worth it!! They even gave me a 5$ discount after I let them know it was my first time getting acrylics! I won't go anywhere else after this visit. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!! I used to go here on a regular basis along with my sister and mother. At first we absolutely loved them, until they got busier and busier and SO MONEY HUNGRY. They now have a girl walking around salon at all times asking the customers over and over again to get their eyebrows waxed...even if you tell them you just got them done yesterday!! The owners don't even care to keep their true customer basis... just get people in and out as fast as possible-meaning their work is not good anymore. I went on vacation and the day before I left i got a full set of acrylics. The very next day three fell off in the shower?!?! ...Return home and go back in.. they make me pay full price per nail, and then two days later even more fell off. Decided to not go back for a while. Called two weeks ago to get a specific person, the owner, to do my nails so if anything happened to them she would fix.. and she kept forcing me to have someone else in the salon do my nails. SCREW THAT! Hung up and called Topline nails just down 31 and sufficed to say my mother, sister and I haven't been back to Dior since. Dior nails and spa in Flemington NJ. Well this place is horrible!!! I went there last Sat and had my nails done and toes, paid 65 dollars and in one week my gel polish on my nails started peeling off and chipping?? I never have had this happen in 30 years of getting my nails done. So I went today to ask that they change the polish and I was told by the owner there is no way it chipped off!! Well I said look 3 are totally polish free and 2 others where chipping. So they where going to just fix the 3 the nails that had no polish and I said please I just want the polish taken off. So they took it off and they where going to just put clear on and I asked if I could just have a red put on? It didn't have to be gel but anything. And they had the nerve to charge me 13 dollars to do the job they should have done a week ago. The man who painted them gave me a second coat on all bu 4 nails, I asked if he could do the last 4 nails, he says I did it, I said ahh no you didnt. This place is crazy!!!!!!!! I've been going to Dior since they opened a couple of years ago. Since I am a consistent regular customer, I would expect that when I make an appointment I would be taken on time, or even 10 - 15 minutes late, I know sometimes things happen. Appointment times seem to mean nothing to them, I have had to wait 45 minutes on many occasions, when they ask me if I'd like to go shopping next door at Stop & Shop instead of sitting in the salon waiting. The last straw was a couple weeks ago, I had a 1 PM appointment. I arrived at 12:58. At 1 PM the person I had an appointment with took someone else, telling me it would be about 20 minutes, when I knew it would be an hour for the other person to get a gel fill and color. My time is valuable, apparently the money I spent at Dior didn't mean much to them. I have seen others walk out too due to long wait times, or a staff member not showing up. If you have plenty of time to waste waiting, the manicures and pedicures are very good. I won't be going back. read more

I got my nails done for the first time at Dior Nails a few days ago and I will definitely not go back. I got a basic gel manicure and every time I look at my nails now I get madder and madder at what a horrible job they did. First of all, as a new customer, I would expect them to be nice and try to get to know me so they could win my future business. Nothing of the sort happened. I had three different people tending to me, one at a time, for the one manicure and no one bothered to tell me why one person would leave and another would come a few minutes later. The woman who did the actual polish (who i gather is the owner) did the worst polish job and just kept talking to other customers the entire time she was polishing my nails. Then when I asked the third person, a guy, to clean up the mess around my nails, he just said yeah yeah yeah and kept doing what he was doing. The one redeeming part of the visit was that the price is $5 cheaper than my usual place (Galaxy Nails, which I would highly recommend), but that savings was totally not worth it considering that I will have to get my nails done very soon again since they look so bad. read more
