Located in Bonsall. I got to visit on Sunday and was very glad that I did. Fun experience with a great guide and animals. We heard about this place through a friend and signed up to visit. They are a non profit and help sick and abandoned animals. You can contact them at their phone number and they send you some release forms to fill out and you can venmo a 50% deposit.   After filling out the forms and sending the deposit you get a text with the address, and all the pertinent information including the instructions to show up 5 minutes early but not earlier than that. You will need to get the gate code to be let in. Our guide was Michelle. She was very nice and friendly, and knowledgeable. She started off by guiding us to the parking spot and giving us an overview of the ranch, and a discussion about some of the animals. Michelle then ushered us over to the first stop to visit some roosters, a rabbit, some guinea pigs and some pigs. We got to hold a rooster and a guinea pig and the cutest little baby pig named Simon came over and we got to pet him and hold 1 of his brothers or sisters. We got to meet Simon's parents too. Then we got to go over by the goats and feed them. There are several and they love to be fed all sorts of green leafy veggies. Then we got to meet a mini cow named cow girl and a small horse. We got to feed the cow and hang out with them and then they called out to some animals. We waited a few moments and over came a bigger cow and some alpacas and sheep, and some of the herding dogs. We got to feed all of them too. It was so much fun. Lots of pellets for the Alpacas but the cow and dogs ate them up too. Right before our 1 hour tour was up we got to meet 1 of the 3 tortoises too. Michelle was so nice and told us all about all of the animals, some of their stories, most of their names, and answered all of our questions. Definitely a fun experience that you should try out if you like animals and helping non profits out.

It was such a fantastic experience! Candice was great! She answered all of our questions and very politely communicated with us. She had so many different animals on the property to see and pet. As she toured us around she helped us hold animals to take pictures as well pet them. She made us feel very comfortable and didn't make us feel rushed off her property which was nice. I highly recommend we really enjoyed it!

Such an amazing caretaker of this group of misfits! The best part is the Private Encounters! Knowing that these rescued lives get regular interactions with humans and animals free range is awesome!! They even come to their care-taker when called!!!! Shows you how much they love the environment they are in.

    They give great snuggles!

This lovely little ranch brought us so much joy! The owners and people that work there have a true love of animals and have rescued so many. All of the animals are so happy & well cared for. We were able to bottle feed baby goats & pigs as they are raised on the ranch for sale to other property owners. This place is literally an hour from Orange County and an hour from San Diego. It's a wonderful place to take the kids, and seniors who need an outdoor day. I cannot express how much fun we had. Afterwards we had a great lunch at a little restaurant called "Z" that is five minutes away. You must make your reservation via text or online it's very simple and money well spent. Just think, by visiting you're helping to care and feed these rescued animals. Donations are always accepted as well.

Hidden gem of place! We made a reservation with Candace the owner for my husband and I to get some ranch style therapy. When we pulled through the front gate we had ostriches to our left and we were greeted by free roaming baby goats, piglets, and dogs. My husband and I looked at each other before parking with huge smiles on our faces thinking to ourselves,"this is gonna be good!" .... The place did not disappoint. We were able to hold and pet baby goats, a silky chicken, Guinea pigs, and piglets. Not forgetting the alpacas, cows, ponies and horses. Too neat! I think we have found our new special place!! We can host events here, book riding lessons with Rachel and they are accepting high school volunteers to help for the teens to get their volunteer hours in!! I heard they are also hosting summer camps for littles so I will put a pic with that info below. Awesome place! Totally check them out!

This place is awesome! The team that runs it is the very best, so professional and kind and on top of everything going on here daily. The llamas are my favorite -- so funny and hilarious. There's an abundance of horses, chickens, pigs, goats, a sweet loving cow that just loves to follow you around... all the things. This is just a wonderful, heartfelt farm with so much love, care, and fun to be had for all ages. We are going to have to go back next week since my kiddos keep begging me. Fun times!!!

This was the best experience I've had with a petting zoo yet! So many cute animals for my son to pet and learn about. Very easy to find and everyone was so friendly & sweet. I'd like to point out that my son is on the spectrum and he really enjoyed this experience.

We can't say how amazing the outlaw corral was for our daughters 3rd birthday party. The staff was so friendly and great with the kiddos as they showed and taught about the various animals. So many amazing animals from goats to chickens, tons of pigs, cows, horses, Guinie pig and some very peculiar alpacas. The sheer joy seen on our kids faces makes us 100% sure we will be planning another event to visit soon!

Dirty Bird Ranch is a pure gem. The vast variety of animals and friendly staff make this farm a five star experience. Michelle and Candice are genuine, animal knowledgeable and their hands on approach with the critters show how much they love and treasure their roles as caretakers. DBR is a must visit for any animal lover. You might even get lucky and get a kiss from Bugs the cow.

We brought my daughter here to the dirty bird Ranch for her 5th birthday to have a tour of all the animals . As soon as we pulled in the driveway we were blown away by the amount of animals we saw, and that wasn't even scratching the surface of what we experienced. Michelle gave us a great tour of the Ranch and was so knowledgeable about all the animals and just as great with the kids and teaching them how to interact with the animals appropriately. The piglets were without a doubt a highlight of our day :) But what great memories were made here for our whole family !

Where do I even start with this little gem? This little ranch is just the cutest and most hidden wonderland I've ever seen. I text Candice to set up a time to come by and she told me they were about to have some goat kids born and I could come right then with my daughters to see them be born! The experience was so magical and my girls will never forget it. When we drove up we had dogs, pigs, mini cows and a tortoise all great us! The animals are so well cared for and with over 80 animals there is something for everyone. We didn't even get to tour the entire property because we got to witness 2 goat kids be born and I wouldn't have wanted it any other way. My daughters got to pet the kids almost immediately after they were born and hold 2 day old kids...it was incredible to say the least. Candice and Michelle are so welcoming and it feels more like hanging out with friends at a ranch rather than a stuck up petting zoo that hardly lets you touch the animals. All in all I would go here every day if I could.

This place was absolutely amazing! We took a 3 year old, almost 5 year old, 7 year old and a 9 year old on a private tour and they all had so much fun. There were so many different types of animals. As soon as we parked, there were dogs, pigs, goats, alpacas, and cows (to name a few) coming from every which way to greet us. The tour was lead by Candace, the owner. You can tell how much she loves and cares for all of her critters and the tour was laid back, interactive, and informative. Additionally, the children had the opportunity to feed all the animals including some emus and ostriches. I feel that it was worth every penny and we would love to visit again!

I already win, because I love magic. :p I'm not going to give away the different aspects of the show and the magic involved, because it's way more fun to be surprised by everything. But there was something for everyone. He made sure the audience were involved in every trick (illusion? I always think of Arrested Development at times like this) and the children were delighted every time they were called to the stage or asked to contribute. For the adults, there was the added bonus of genuine comedy and good humor. Not too long, so the kids didn't get squirmy and restless, even in the blazing heat. Not too alarming, so it was obvious he had considered the young age of the audience members and tailored the show to fit their age group while not making it childish. And on that note, I think the mark of a really good entertainer is that ability to go beyond the standard step by step of an act, and ensure that they deliver an experience that feels personalized. Prior to camp, we arranged a simple system where he could signal me through a snack purchase if he needed help. Early on the third day, he used that signal. I called the camp and did not receive a response. After approximately eight hours, I called again and requested to speak with the camp director, I was eventually connected with the camp director, who indicated there had been an issue earlier that day involving my son and wrong medication being given. After insisting, I was allowed to speak with my son. He was clearly distressed and informed me that he had been given the wrong medication that morning. Instead of his usual over-the-counter allergy medication, he was given a high-dose antidepressant not prescribed to him and not intended for a child his age. According to the information provided to me, staff at the health office realized the error and attempted to have him self induce vomiting with a spoon, (he was instructed to stick the spoon down his throat), which was unsuccessful. They then contacted poison control for guidance. At no point during this process was I notified. After speaking with my son, I decided to pick him up immediately. When I arrived, I found communication from staff to be limited, and I was unable to get clear or detailed information about the incident despite asking direct questions. I requested to speak with the camp director, who eventually met with me. During that interaction, I found his demeanor to be notably nonchalant given the circumstances. The situation--a child being given the wrong medication and the parent not being notified--was presented in a way that did not reflect the level of concern I would have expected. When I attempted to ask for clarification and express concern about what had happened, the conversation became extremely tense. There was a clear difference in how seriously the situation was being viewed, and the discussion escalated into a heated verbal exchange. Given the lack of clear communication and the response to what I consider a serious safety issue, I made the decision to withdraw my son from the camp that same night. Following the incident, I contacted the camp multiple times. I was initially told that a refund would not be provided, though I was offered a credit for a future summer. After further communication, I did receive a refund. I also attempted to reach out to members of the organization's leadership to share concerns about the incident. This experience was extremely concerning, particularly given the seriousness of a medication error involving a child and the lack of timely parent notification.
