Finally -- something fun to do indoors in Temecula that isn't Target or Costco runs. Portals Entertainment Center might just be my new happy place. It's got everything -- mini golf, laser tag, neon dinosaurs that roar at you like they've had a bad Monday, and enough themed rooms to make you feel like you're on a Universal Studios budget... but without the drive. The Jurassic World area? Straight-up awesome. Neon-colored dinos, jungle vibes, and sound effects that made me look over my shoulder a few times just to be sure I wasn't about to get eaten. And here's the best part -- they have a 21+ adult lounge. Yes, I got to sip a drink and pretend I was a responsible adult while the kids went full chaos mode. 10/10 would recommend for families, date nights, or just an excuse to act like a big kid with a cocktail in hand.

Absolutely in love with this place!!!! SHOUT OUT TO STEVEN!!!! Steven was amazing when my 5 year old was having a "tooth" emergency and scared. Thank you so much for helping my girl, and the special treatment. For everyone else on staff, you guys did awesome too. Our friends birthday party was great with laser tag and mini golf. Even living 2 hours away in Long Beach we loved it!!!!!

Super fun place for the kids to play games, mini golf, and laser tag. Jordan and staff were super friendly and attentive to our party. We will be returning soon.

Pirate themed mini golf room

We just visited Portals for the first time and had a blast. We were pretty impressed with what a unique, fun concept it is, we've never seen anything like it. A great vibe and very refreshing change from your typical family fun center. We noticed right off how clean and organized it is, and the employees greeted us and were friendly and helpful in explaining everything. There were various activities, and we chose two rounds of mini golf. We received a card that we used to get glow in the dark golf balls from a fun machine and glowing golf clubs. The two golf portals/rooms were pirate and dinosaur themed. I loved the pirate course, it had an undersea look with sea creatures. It actually reminded me a bit of Disneyland and the pirates ride. Then onto the dino room, complete with glowing dinosaurs, some that moved and made sounds. The difficulty level was just right, and the blacklight element made it fun and unique. We bought more credits on our portal card to play some arcade games. The games were state of the art and had a good playing length. We were able to play several for $10, and somehow won enough credits/virtual tickets for a prize (a stress ball). The prizes weren't junky like you usually see, but a lot of quality stuff including Pokemon toys. Kids will love that. Portals is good for both kids and adults, groups and parties. There's a variety of food, treats, and quality adult beverages. The prices are affordable and just right, in my opinion. We noticed they also have designated days for people needing reduced sensory stimulation, so nice! And being indoors, it's perfect for rainy days or more common here, hot days. It's well designed with a lot of attention to detail (ie hand sanitizer stations). We saw a party room set up with glowing cups and utensils. What a great, *much needed* addition to our community! I wish the owners many years of success bringing happiness and fun to those who visit.

Ready, Set ,Glow! Time to get lost in a maze-terpiece of excitement. There are two types of mini golf courses. 1st you set sail on a pirate ship the second enter the world of jurassic where you will have a roaring good time. Tumble into an explosion of fun. When you blast your way through laser tag. And the best part is it all Glows in the dark except the arcade games. Don't forget to power up with the food menu. Pizza , French fries, and nachos to name a few. The service is mind-bending talent. Swing, shoot, or claw your way to Portals for an epic experience

Nice and organized. Clean. Nice place for a party. My kids friends had a party here and the kids and adults had a fun time. I would do a party here after seeing how things are here. I hope they keep it up and keep the nice workers here and not hired rude workers in the future.

Very small Dino course

My daughter and I were very excited to drive up from Escondido to play time-travel mini golf at Portals in Temecula. 2 players, both courses (Pirate & Dinosaur Themes) 9 holes each, cost $34. At 11am on a Monday morning there was only one other duo on the courses. The courses are small. The Dino course fits in one small room. The Pirate course winds around a bend. With nobody in front of us, we finished both courses in about 30-min. The Pirate course is much better than the Dinosaur course. The Pirate theme has videos, voices, songs and better decorated. The Dinosaur course only has a consistent "roar" going on, with wall paintings and a few standing Dino's. The course seemed like an afterthought, like the Company was running out of money and built a course in one square room with glow in the dark paint. Like I said before, we were both done 30-min in and my 8yr old was quite bored. We then perused the arcade and quickly found out the prices are similar or higher than Dave and Busters. But D&B has half off ALL games on Wednesday's (hint). We passed. Portals is great for a one-time visit because once you see the art, vids, and hear the songs the actual courses are not worth another visit at around $1/minute. I cannot see ourselves returning. We did not experience the laser tag. This review is for anybody who wishes to hear my opinion...

It was super fun. Took the kids for some mini golf and we all had a good family night. The air conditioning wasn't working in the dinosaur golf but I'm sure that's fixed by now. Then we went into the pirates. The displays for both were epic and in such good condition. The staff were super kind and offered us a free stuffie at the end of the day. They don't have a wide variety of arcade games but the few they do have are fun. I highly recommend going for the mini golf.

I'm so glad I stumbled upon this gem! I liked that it wasn't too big, I think it was just the right size. They utilize the space so well you'd never realize there's so much by looking at the outside. Having everything contained indoors is fantastic for weather. The amount of glow in the blacklight is so impressive! As far as cost, I think it's right on target with any activity you take your family to. It's extremely clean in all areas including restrooms. Such a nice surprise in a public area! Great staff and excellent junior promoter in the arcade. =) Will absolutely be back. My kids loved it. Much more enjoyable than other venues of this sort in the area and very similarly priced for parties.

It's tucked in a tiny plaza right next to Panda Express, and the parking is super convenient -- there's plenty of space so you don't have to circle forever. This place is absolutely adorable inside, with tons of claw machines full of plushies, anime figures, keychains, gacha machines, and fun collectibles that make your heart go . They also have snacks, drinks, and lots of cute merch to browse while you play! Play Card / Ticket Tips: They use a play card system -- you load tickets/credits onto a card and then use it to play the machines. I recommend grabbing enough credits so you can play a few machines without having to reload right away! (It just makes it more fun & less stop‑start.) Pro tip: If you win something, staff are super friendly and happy to help you get your prize out of the machine or exchange it! What I LOVED: The customer service is AMAZING -- had the same sweet lady helping us both times, and she made the visit extra special. So many adorable prizes and anime figurines that are actually worth trying for! Cute shopping vibe, great for kids AND adults who love kawaii stuff! What could be better: One machine wasn't working the day we went -- kind of a bummer! A few machines sometimes have repeats of the same plushies if you've visited before. But honestly, still cute overall! If you're into claw machines, cute anime merch, and fun little hangouts, this place is an absolute must‑visit!

You go here to redeem and each of us received a card. they had stickers to label the cards to tell them apart. We did the 18 hole miniature golf, go karts, and batting cages. The go kart has a separate toddler track near the batting cages. I actually got bored on the track because they have you out there for a good 10 minutes and all you do is go in circles. The batting cages were tricky based on the speed of the ball. Make sure you wear your helmets. Afterwards we played in the arcade. We ordered nachos for $3.75. They asked if we wanted jalapeños, we said on the side. Turns out, it was $1 charge for a small container! At least be honest and give heads up. I was wondering why nachos cost almost double. The package gave us 2 1/2 hours with four lanes and included $20 arcade credits per guest, which kept all the kids entertained the whole time. The setup was absolutely perfect--our kids' names were displayed, and the decorations made it feel so special. The staff was wonderful and attentive, and the management went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. From start to finish, they made it stress-free for us. Having our daughter invite all her cheer friends from Shivela Middle School made it such a memorable celebration, and the whole group had a blast bowling, playing games, and enjoying great food. One of the best surprises was the food service. They do refills on almost everything--pizzas, appetizers, drinks--pretty much everything except the fruit platter. For each setup, they brought out four pizzas, and when those were gone, they replaced them two or three more times. Same with the unlimited drinks. You're not just getting a single set of food; they keep it coming, which kept all the kids (and adults!) happy and full. Yes, the total came out to a little over $800 with the package, some extras, and tips--but honestly, it was worth every penny. Compared to hosting at home (where we'd be buying food, drinks, decorations, and then cleaning up afterward), this experience was way easier, more fun, and far less stressful. This was by far the best birthday party setup we've ever done, and we will absolutely continue celebrating this way in the future. Highly recommend Bowlero Murrieta if you're looking for a fun, organized, and memorable party spot!

What actually happened was disturbing, traumatic, and handled with an alarming lack of professionalism. During the party, one of the children in our group was violently assaulted by older boys who were roaming the facility unsupervised. The injured child suffered visible facial injuries, including bleeding. While this was happening, staff response was minimal to nonexistent. The aggressors were allowed to continue playing freely, without being removed or even meaningfully addressed. What was even more upsetting was the impact this had on my 7-year-old stepson, who witnessed his friend being assaulted. This was not rough play, this was a frightening, violent incident. My stepson was visibly shaken, confused, and distressed by what he saw. This was supposed to be a joyful birthday celebration, and instead it turned into a traumatic experience that he is still processing. Law enforcement showed up and found out that other kids had become visibly assaulted as well. Multiple employees on duty, many of whom appeared very young and poorly supervised themselves were seen laughing, pointing, exchanging comments, and sharing images related to the incident, rather than helping the injured child or ensuring the safety of the kids involved. At no point did it feel like the staff took the situation seriously. The general manager on duty failed to step in decisively, failed to separate parties, and failed to prioritize the emotional and physical well-being of the children. There was no immediate first aid offered. No quiet or safe space provided. No reassurance to the injured child or the kids who witnessed the violence. The behavior of both management and staff created the clear impression that the incident was being treated as entertainment rather than an emergency. To make matters worse, parents of the aggressors were allowed to come and go freely, with one parent returning to the area where our group was standing and openly threatening members of our party again, with no visible staff or security intervention. The lack of concern for child safety was staggering. Not once did anyone ask how the injured child was doing or acknowledge the emotional impact on the other kids who witnessed the assault. Offering a small discount afterward does not begin to address the seriousness of what occurred. Until this location prioritizes active supervision, trained staff, real management accountability, and child safety, I cannot recommend bringing your children here especially for birthday parties. What should have been a happy memory became a traumatic one due entirely to staff inaction and poor leadership.
