An absolutely beautiful venue with such a kind hearted owner. Lindy was amazing during our whole wedding planning process. She was so accommodating. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful. This is a truly hidden gem in north San Diego for a quaint backyard style wedding.

My daughters Girl Scout troop used their cookie money to go horseback riding here. Brandi and all the teenage instructors were excellent with the girls. They explained how to care for the horses, saddle them and ride without fear. They were exceedingly patient and made it an incredible experience for everyone who rode. After the ride we had a nice picnic lunch in the special events area that was very picturesque. This is definitely a place we would return to ride again!

This place is MAGICAL. An overwhelming number of our guests walked up to me wide-eyed and said "this place is amazing!" So many wedding venues provide you with their own vision of what your wedding should be - Quail Haven Farm truly is a place where you can run wild with YOUR vision. We had a medieval theme....and as far as we were concerned it was the most perfect spot in the universe for the wedding. Lindy is an absolute angel. Her and her husband (who is responsible for most of the gorgeous garden and foliage rambling about the property) made us feel like family...she let our imaginations run wild and was so supportive! They really went above and beyond what we would expect from a vendor. QHF allows you to bring in all your vendors (which for me was huge) and they included the table and chair rentals in our contract - that made life SO easy! Their staff was awesome too - cheery and low key (I barely saw them but magically the work was getting done!) We also ended up getting a HUGE treat on the day of the wedding - they were able to provide some amazing extras (like a huge dance floor at NO cost) just based on the sheer luck and good timing of some of their other events. We were over the moon. Our guests joked that our wedding would have to become an annual tradition - Quail Haven Farm was a huge hit...this place has some serious heart.

Gorgeous property, Wonderful owners, Perfect wedding. If I could do my wedding over again, it would still be here. So worth it.

This place! James and Lindy was nice enough to let us take our maternity photos here and it couldn't have been a more perfect place. From the garden to all the flowers and plants around it. It's literally like a secret garden. It's so beautiful. They also have a red Barn that's perfect for any background photos.

This was our wedding venue and let me just tell you that it's the most gorgeous place in southern ca. Lindy is the owner of quail heaven and she was just amazing! She made our dream wedding possible! She worked with us on everything we needed and her and her sister were so sweet and professional. Thank you lindy for making our day so amazing!!

All of us at Spotlight Studio love this venue! It has been a beautiful place to capture spectacular images of a lifetime. It is tucked into a very serene space with a very classic prettiness, we look forward to our next event at this amazing farm.

Quail Haven Farm, is truly a magical place to get married, Lindy and James went beyond and above to make sure our day was perfect. It really was a fairytale wedding!! No matter where you looked it was magical down to the flowers being epically amazing!! The bridal cottage was perfect for hair and make up to be done, and for me to hang out in. The groom's room was great for all the guys to get ready and then have a cool refreshing drink. There is this one spot with the swing that I just found myself sitting on and just reflecting on the day, and was able to enjoy the peace and calm atmosphere before our wedding started. As the sun set the lighting in the guarding became a fairytale setting, even as it got dark out the lighting with the twinkling lights was perfect in every way. And let's not forget about their cat Ninja, who made sure to be in many photos. Hands-down the best wedding ever!!

The beautiful ceremony area can be customized to your own liking so easily!

SOON To be BRIDES & GROOMS!!! Your dream wedding starts HERE at Quail Haven! Our nephew had his unforgettably beautiful wedding here 5 years ago, so when our own daughter got engaged, my husband said, "You HAVE to get married at Quail Haven!". This beautiful yet organic venue left such a beautiful impression on us upon our first visit there. You can really save a lot on floral decor because of all the gorgeous vegetation and photo ops that surround you, from the barn to the ceremony garden, cocktail patio and reception area... all so conveniently accessible and beautiful in views! The quaint bridal suite was just so cozy and perfect for our bridal party too. You MUST see it! The owner, Lindy was the perfect hostess and made sure all our needs were met and that our day was in order. She customized a package for our needs that totally suited our budget and made our daughter's dream wedding come true! We couldn't have been happier. Our guests remarked on how much they enjoyed the venue as well! And to this day, even six months after the wedding we are still reminiscing the wonderful day and how it just unfolded like a beautiful dream. Thank you so much to Quail Haven and Lindy for everything! Best day ever!!!! ~ Angela Nunez, mother of the bride

Prior to camp, we arranged a simple system where he could signal me through a snack purchase if he needed help. Early on the third day, he used that signal. I called the camp and did not receive a response. After approximately eight hours, I called again and requested to speak with the camp director, I was eventually connected with the camp director, who indicated there had been an issue earlier that day involving my son and wrong medication being given. After insisting, I was allowed to speak with my son. He was clearly distressed and informed me that he had been given the wrong medication that morning. Instead of his usual over-the-counter allergy medication, he was given a high-dose antidepressant not prescribed to him and not intended for a child his age. According to the information provided to me, staff at the health office realized the error and attempted to have him self induce vomiting with a spoon, (he was instructed to stick the spoon down his throat), which was unsuccessful. They then contacted poison control for guidance. At no point during this process was I notified. After speaking with my son, I decided to pick him up immediately. When I arrived, I found communication from staff to be limited, and I was unable to get clear or detailed information about the incident despite asking direct questions. I requested to speak with the camp director, who eventually met with me. During that interaction, I found his demeanor to be notably nonchalant given the circumstances. The situation--a child being given the wrong medication and the parent not being notified--was presented in a way that did not reflect the level of concern I would have expected. When I attempted to ask for clarification and express concern about what had happened, the conversation became extremely tense. There was a clear difference in how seriously the situation was being viewed, and the discussion escalated into a heated verbal exchange. Given the lack of clear communication and the response to what I consider a serious safety issue, I made the decision to withdraw my son from the camp that same night. Following the incident, I contacted the camp multiple times. I was initially told that a refund would not be provided, though I was offered a credit for a future summer. After further communication, I did receive a refund. I also attempted to reach out to members of the organization's leadership to share concerns about the incident. This experience was extremely concerning, particularly given the seriousness of a medication error involving a child and the lack of timely parent notification.
