I recently used Dirty Deeds for a short distance move in Fort Collins and could have been more pleased. Stefani answered my question for information promptly and Jeremy was here the next day with a very reasonable quote. My husband had died just a few months before and both of the gentleman who came and packed were patient and consider with me as I had to made some difficult decisions as to what to move. I have already made arrangements with them to make a final move of garage stuff (summer tires, Christmas things, etc) when my garage at the apartment becomes empty in February. Being a retired NPS ranger, I am so impressed of their reused of cardboard boxes and look forward to returning mine to them. I used Dirty Deeds for 4 separate moves. The first three times I found that most of their employees are hard-working and diligent. The pricing was fair and the owner were friendly and easy to work with. On my last move I was unable to be present at the pick-up location. Rather than doing a formal "walk through" (as had been described to me when I hired them) with the person who was supervising the move at the originating destination they departed and left items on a book shelf that had been pointed out to them AND that was clearly labeled with the same identification as all the other items they had moved. When I let the owners know what had happened, one of their employees tried to cover up for their oversight on doing a formal walk through (he described it as "we asked them to do a 'lil look around") and even lied and said they ran out of boxes (even though his coworker openly disagreed with him and pointed to boxes that were still in the truck). The honest worker owned up and said "we made a mistake" and apologized. None of this seemed like it was going to be a big deal - I wasn't angry and let them know that if they could just pick up these items at some point during the next 3 months that would be fine. At first they acted like they were going to follow through and then, out of the blue, I got a very accusatory email stating that their staff had done exactly what was needed, that the items had not been pointed out as needing to be moved (untrue and documented with photos) and that the oversight was my fault because I was not at the originating location. In fact they tried to state that their mistake was caused because my items were being moved as the result of the end of my marriage! Furthermore, they claimed that the honest employee (who had pointed out to his coworker that they still had boxes and acknowledged that they had simply made a mistake) was the one lying in order to smooth things over! I feel very sorry for this employee who is accused of being the one who is lying when we all know his coworker is flippantly throwing out excused for a mistake that could have been easily rectified. I'm sure the owner will respond with her own side of the story, she always seems to, but take a look at the tone she takes in these responses and you will understand the kind of email I received...These items were on a shelving unit in the same room where they packed up other books. It was mentioned to them AND was labeled for move the same as all the other items they moved that day. This had nothing to do with the reasons the items were being moved and everything to do with their employees not following the process of doing a formal "walk through" of all the rooms. Ultimately, it seems like certain Dirty Deeds employees don't have attention to detail and are willing to lie to their employers...and the employer is willing to believe them over a repeat customer. They act like they care about referrals and repeat business but this doesn't seem like a good way to make that happen. read more

Moving. Is. Stressful. Dirty Deeds took the stress out of the move! First, when I realized my move date was in 2 weeks, THEY picked up the phone! They were able to schedule me in and provided a 30 minutes arrival time window. I was called right before that window and was told the truck had left the dock and the movers would be there in 15 minutes. Prompt! The 2 young men who showed up to do my move could not have been more upbeat and positive with great, willing, helpful attitudes.. they even gave me layout opinions when I asked them! Dirty Deeds responded to my urgency, made themselves available, were on time (actually, they were early), responsive, communicative along the route, and very efficient. My Mom has lived in Ft. Collins for 30 years and finally needed her MASSIVE garage cleaned out. It was very close to a hording situation, with all kinds of things packed in there: wood, trash, furniture, and even haz-mat stuff. These guys did a GREAT job of working with her (she's in her 70s), and were very responsible. They came on multiple occasions, were sensitive to her needs around the house, and hauled off ALL KINDS OF STUFF. Plus, she found the guys (Jeremy was the main contact guy) very likable and trustworthy. I even met Jeremy on one occassion, and found him to be very straight forward and competent. NOTE that there is another outfit in Ft Collins called "Dirty Deeds," but that one is a landscaping outfit. These guys are totally different and do hauling and moving. I highly recommend these guys and would use them for moving or hauling junk. read more

I've been in my house over 20 years and called Dirty Deeds to remove junk from the property before selling. I scheduled with them right away. Fast and efficient service on the job! The movers were a bit late due to circumstances beyond their control. That is my only complaint. Otherwise, the service was great, men most accommodating, quite apologetic for the delay, and pleasant to deal with. I even got a discount because of my wait. I moved from a two-bedroom in Fort Collins to a two-bedroom outside of Fort Collins about a month ago and am very satisfied with the service. There were two minor problems but the big picture is good. One problem was a weather related rescheduling. It was appropriate to reschedule, the receiving area was unsafe because of snow on a hill but the phone call about it was at the last minute. The other problem was getting the price quote. They sent it electronically a couple of times unsuccessfully and I finally received a cell phone shot of the screen that cut off the bottom of the pages. (I'd suggest putting a couple of hundred dollars into Quickbooks. The quote is automatically emailed as a PDF to the customer, it can be printed for mailing, and the address, date, amount, P.O., etc. is automatically transferred to invoicing.) Their price quote was the lowest, and other quotes varied from about $100 more to double. Once the truck showed up, everything went smooth. The guys on the truck were on-time, friendly and fast. They didn't have to ask a second time for clarification on anything and the entire job was done right. There was no breakage or damage and the move-in was also fast. The final bill was very close to the quote. The guys even helped look for my lost dog after she darted out the open door. I'd use them again for any local "Dirty Deeds". read more

You always go through the answering service, only call backs from the firm. The answering service collects all your contact info. To get an estimate, I waited for a call back, it was OK. When I wanted to hire them, the same process. This included all the contact info a second time, when I asked for a transfer to set up the service. All I could get was a call back. I declined and used another firm where I made a call and got a date and time. read more

I've stewed on this for the last month or so debating on if I should write this review and I just can't leave it. I used Dirty Deeds 3 years ago moving and had a great experience, and I have recommended them over the years. So when it came to moving again, it was a no brainer for me to use them again & even encouraged my boyfriend to use them for his home in the Denver area as well. What a mistake and fiasco this move turned out to be. This was night and day compared to the move of 3 yrs ago. They did not come to the house to see what I had to move nor did they send me a contract as they did prior. Maybe this should have been my first clue, but I though, okay, times have changed and this is the new Covid way. The price jumped up 3 times what it originally started out being on my place, even when I gave Stefani a list of what I had to move. (Jeremy the owner told my boyfriend he had been in my home to look at , which was a complete lie as I have cameras & knew I never let him in & could see that all he did was drop off a couple of wardrobe boxes to the front porch).... Anyway, the guys moving were nice enough, but they unfortunately got caught up in a day that they were not anticipating. Without the contract or correspondence from Stefani, it was a lot of we can't do this, we can't do that, from the movers, as far as taking anything liquid, standing on a ladder to take things off the shelves in the garage where I had placed boxes to be loaded, we can't take anything with liquid, etc. It seemed to be they couldn't take more things than they could take. I was pressed to try and get more things loaded into my vehicle because of this (lawnmower, outdoor bug lamps, etc, because they had liquid in them). And my fridge, which they knew they were taking, all of a sudden became a big deal to do that. They can't unhook or touch the water line. I had to do that myself then rehook it up at the new house. In the process, of moving my fairly new fridge over, it was scratched and dented up badly, which they only gave me a $50 credit towards my over $1200 moving bill (which started out being around a $600-$800 cost). Now onto my boyfriend. They were moving him about 3 days later up to the new house. They had him scheduled, went down to Brighton and the movers told him that they only had a short period of time to move him as they had another job scheduled in an hour and a 1/2. His job had been scheduled for close to a month. Who schedules a moving job and then schedules another one on top of it when you know that it will take some time to load the truck and it will take an hour anyway to drive back up to Fort Collins. That is insance. My boyfriend told them so, and the movers said that they had to do what they had to do. They dropped the sofa there on the front sidewalk, closed the back of the moving truck and left. We were left scrambling to find another mover then to move his house belongings up here. Thankfully, we did the next day and they were wonderful. Colorado's Best Movers came over looked at all his items, he got a contract, they wrapped his items before loading and it was a far cry from Dirty Deeds (and much cheaper) even with moving from a different City. I know of other businesses that have used Dirty Deeds in the past and no longer use them and I wondered why at the time, and I guess now I know why. Sad that they took this turn, but I can say I will never ever recommend them again. I work in the real estate and property management field, so I do look for good customer service and businesses that I can rely on to provide a great service to my clients. We had such a great experience with these movers! The communication was outstanding. I must have texted and emailed 20 times and the response was always super quick and friendly. Stefani is awesome to work with. The crew the day of move were fast, safe, and efficient. Throughout the process, they worked with us to make sure we stayed within budget and, sure enough, they were spot on when it came time to pay. Not only did we stay within our budget, they were half the price other movers we had contacted. So glad we found this LOCAL business and will definitely use them for our next move. I thought this was going to be at 5 Star when I first was communicating through text with this company but it went sour uduring our first conversation. I am going to hope that I caught Christina during a stressful time in her life. Even though I am the one moving. Not that I towish stress on anyone but rather to excuse her "customer service skills'. In short she got impatient and cut off our conversation before I could absorb what she was saying. I think she thinks her company is the best place ever... Maybe, but there are plenty of others. I originally was deciding between two. When I decided to go with dirty deeds, she made it clear that that choice was wrong. So, I went with the other. Not only less expensive but he guaranteed he could move me within 2 hours or to do the remainder was on him! That's how you do business and win over customers. Not intimidate when they are already stressed. I am happy she acted that way early on because if they showed that nastier side during the move it would be worse. Things happen for a reason!! I went with Pro Movers and they were excellent. Courteous, respectful, tireless, lifted dressers and awkward pieces like they were toys. Thank you Pro Movers for a job well done! I have hired Dirty Deeds three times now for helping us move into our new home. They are trustworthy and so very careful. They even moved a piano from our neighbors split level across the street into our house without a scratch to it or either of our houses. It takes a lot for me to review something, but these guys are worth it! I have only been in northern Colorado for a little over a year, and making my first in town move, I didn't know who to use as a moving company. I was 8.5 months pregnant and needed help moving into my second-floor apartment. I used yelp and found dirty deeds, along with a few other moving companies, and found dirty deeds to be the most inexpensive. Setting up my move out day was easy. Stephani worked with me, she thought that my moveout and move in would take about four hours, but I only had a budget for three hours. She re-estimated my move out and move in for three hours, which was really helpful with my budget. I had pretty much everything packed and ready to go, but the guys that came to move me were so incredibly fast and efficient I could not believe it. They came into my apartment and made sure that the doors were protected from dings and put mats down on the floor to protect my floors as well, then didn't waste any time hustling things into the moving truck. They literally ran back-and-forth from my apartment to the moving truck and worked so fast! They moved my dressers full of clothes which were so heavy! Super strong guys. Then they drove the moving truck to my new apartment and I could have never moved my items so quickly into my second-floor apartment. They didn't take any breaks, and we had to force them to take a break to drink water-it was a super hot summer day. They ended up finishing my total move out and move in in 1 1/2 hours. Quicker than I could've ever imagined. I was shocked for all the stuff that had to be moved! These guys are super efficient and I appreciate that they didn't slack at all to make the time and payment longer. Tipped them as well as I could because these were the hardest workers I have ever encountered. I can't thank them enough and I will definitely use them next time I move! read more

Used Dirty Deeds two times. The first time was a great experience all around. The guys were very friendly, fast, and efficient. When the need arose for a moving company once more, I only thought of one place so once again I hired Dirty Deeds. While the movers did their job and did well considering the snow and icy conditions, I had a very poor experience with Stefani, whom I worked with on the pricing and contract. We had a conversation prior to the move on who and how things were to be charged. I was not able to be present for the move and when the move went over the assumed time, I was not notified about the increase and the person that was present for the move was ultimately charged. When I contacted Stefani for an explanation for the overages and why I was not contacted for advisement or payment, I was met with confrontation and a rude, condescending attitude. Dealing with her was enough to make me change my mind on this business and where I recommended them once before, I now advise against this company. This move was a difficult one emotionally and Stefani made it worse. read more

This company goes way above expectations. If I could give a 10 star rating I would. Jeremy and his guys were awesome. They handled the furniture with such ease. No damage at all. We had some heavy pieces and these guys picked it up like it weighed nothing at all. They had to keep our belongings over night because our closing didn't go as planned and the price was way less then expected. This crew had to work in the rain. They were professional and in great spirits. They were constantly joking around but stayed professional. Cost was much less then we expected and less than quoted.
