I texted a friend in the area, shouted out to my Facebook friends from the local area, and called another groomer booked solid until 16 May--they could not do anything for me. Next, I called Pampered Pets and let them know my 17-year-old fur baby needed a full service. They were booked solid too (why shouldn't they be - they are an amazing full-service doggie daycare and groomer), but they said to give them a couple of hours to see if they could work me in. I should mention I was only in town visiting family for two more days. As promised, they called back after their noon rush was complete and were able to accommodate us first thing this morning. They were gentle and my Eskie looks beautiful. I highly recommend them to all my friends and family in the Tri-City area and I believe they are expanding their services, so give them a call and let them take care of your pampered pets too.

Sitting pretty has multiple locations and i've tried them all, whitehall is wonderful, muskegon is…read morewonderful, but grand haven sucks. i took my bernese mountain dog there 3 times and every single time was bad. 1st time they cut his paw and said nothing to me about it (it was still bleeding when we got home) 2nd time they didn't call me and tell me that my pup was ready to come home and he sat in a kennel for 2 hours, and the 3rd time they shaved my dog! he has a double coat and he's regularly brushed... absolutely no reason to shave him! months later and his hair is still growing back. on top of the bad experiences my dog had, the staff is so rude! especially the older woman at the front desk. do not take your dog here, definitely go to muskegon location or whitehall.
