Cookies are delicious! Service was quick, helpful and patient with questions. No place to sit- the space is setup for takeout only.

I couldn't decide on a cupcake flavor, so ended up buying a mini dozen cupcake box: hot cocoa, red velvet, and candy cane ..... Also, a mini raspberry cheesecake to-go! The cupcakes were light and flavorful! The cloud-like frosting was just perfect- well balanced and not too sweet. We kept them in the refrigerator, and after a day the other ones took on some of the candy cane peppermint... yet all still tasty and cake texture was just as divine. The cheesecake looked small, so we ate it straight from the box. The cake is a bit denser - not a complaint! more like homemade than big box store! - so the frosting and fruit topping was a great combo to add to the mouthfeel and contrast of the cake and the graham cracker crust. Next time, ill enjoy this lovely mini cake by the slice instead of spontaneous fork'fuls to get a better balance of cake:fruit top:crust ratio per bite. The cake round was maybe 5 inches and would've been lovely in slices of fourths or sixths. It was a great spontaneous dessert buy and we'll be back again. I saw the other community reviews of the specialty cakes ordered, and look forward to ordering a special cake for our next special occasion. Friendly service and clean storefront and cake display. No long lines, so no wait! Thank you, Cakery.

Btw, I have been to France many times on business, have eaton at some of the best restaurants in Paris, really good, just not to my taste. Ok, we went here last Sunday, I wasn't hungry, but my wife was, so we thought we would use the card. Wife ordered a beef dip, one of her favorite sandwiches, not on my top 10 list. I ordered a charcuterie plater, figured we could take it home, which we did. Anyway, I took a bit of her sandwich, and even though I wasn't hungry, I ate about half of it. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had of any kind. Very simple but delicious. Baguette was amazing, beef appeared to be cured somehow, huge flavor, au jus was great. Today I am going to Timnath to meet a friend for lunch and I am going to make a 30 minute detour to get a sandwich for us for dinner. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Life is too short to eat mediocre food, plus I am a stingy with my calories, like to spend them on delicious food. Thank you La Boutique. Sincerely, Bret and Michelle

I just love the FoCo food scene and wanted to try something new. The barista made a few suggestions. It was before 11am, so that eliminated all the pretzel roll options on the menu. I decided to go with the Roma. She was right! It was refreshing. I loved every bite. Very bread-forward but clearly a high quality bake. My partner got the French Dip and enjoyed it. There's a few small tables as well as barstools along the wall, but most people ordered to-go. Check out the marketplace items, too. So cute!

This fine sunny and warm Sunday morning found us hopping in (again, we came last year) to La Crêperie to fight the crêpe withdrawals--it's been too long. Interior is very "Parisian cafe", period art, TVs showing videos of the pastry chefs doing their thing. She ordered a hot chocolate to start, and a Parisian crêpe (berries, whip cream, raspberry coulis). I ordered a galette (think square envelope-crêpe) from the savory side. I'd had it last visit and had been looking forward to a redux. I ordered the Professeur Steve, capers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach and brie, which arrived with smoked salmon arranged like a rose at opposing corners (keeps it cold). Oh man, this brie-gooing mushroomy sweet-caramelly onion spinach umami explosion goes perfectly taken in a bite with the salmon. Addiction sated; withdrawals saved off until next June's visit. Wife's crêpe was delicious--everything sweet-toothers love. Hot chocolate is real. Like not from a packet but from a chocco chunk and paid labor somewhere nearby. Whipped cream was real, and thick enough that it could have been sliced and served on its own. Absolutely freaking delicious. Love this place. See you in a year!
