As soon as you walk in you are facing a glass counter that displayed a large variety of the biggest cookies. They also serve ice cream and you have the option to create your own ice cream sandwich. My husband loves chocolate and I am allergic. So I always apperciate a sweet shop to have good options for both of us. We got 3 things from here: an indiidual sized fruit pie, original chocolate chip cookie and a double choco cookie. The fruit pie is small but very very soft. It breaks apart on touch and that's a wonderful thing. I don't remember much about the flavor. It was not overly sweet and I was very satisfied. Husband loved both cookies too. It's a great place. The way the cookies were packaged created a messy disaster. I went for lunch and decided to treat myself to some cookies for the weekend. They put them 4 to a small plastic bag. Stacking heavy cookies on fragile ones. This caused my cute cookies to break and the frosted cookies to smear onto all the other cookies. I heard this was a must stop place in Fort Collins and as a huge cookie lover I had to check it out. Upon walking in I noticed the cookies were gigantic. There was a lot of variety. We settled on an oatmeal raisin and a cookie sandwich with chocolate chip cookies and chocolate frosting. The cookies were good. I've definitely had better. I prefer a more soft underbaked cookie. The frosting between the cookies did not have much flavor. I think being from Amish country PA and having their baked goods has me spoiled. I'd like to say that I tried these cookies today because I couldn't walk past this store. However, I couldn't walk past because their doors were wide open and they were apparently making peanut butter cookies, and the smells pervaded the sidewalk for 20 feet outside their doors...and I'm deathly allergic to peanuts. With peanut allergies being one of the largest (and increasing) allergies in this country, kids are regularly told they can't bring PB&J to school, and today I couldn't even use a public sidewalk because of the overwhelming smells coming from your store. Can you at least put up a warning sign for passers-by? At least I'm not a kid with this condition.
