Variety of tasty cookies in cute packaging
    Bec C.

A friend ordered these for me from California to have delivered at my home in Fort Collins for my birthday. Great variety of cookies. They were very tasty - soft and chewy. Cute packaging, too. I moved to Fort Collins less than a month ago and I am forward to checking out this shop myself!

Visiting from FL to attend my nephew's graduation from UNC. We heard this was a must try so the whole family went. As soon as you walk in you are facing a glass counter that displayed a large variety of the biggest cookies. They also serve ice cream and you have the option to create your own ice cream sandwich. The Reese's chocolate chip and the pistachio cookies were a family favorite. The kids enjoyed the ice cream as well. So many flavors to choose from so it was a great stop to accommodate a big family with different tastes.

I have generally loved Mary's mountain cookies each time I have gone to the one on colllege, however my last experience at this other locations was not as great. The way the cookies were packaged created a messy disaster. I went for lunch and decided to treat myself to some cookies for the weekend. They put them 4 to a small plastic bag. Stacking heavy cookies on fragile ones. This caused my cute cookies to break and the frosted cookies to smear onto all the other cookies. These cookies were still good even with the frosting smeared onto the wrong cookies, however it is very pricey to not have my cookies be presentable for more than 5 minutes

Not sure what happen, I've been told if we were in Ft Collins to try these cookies. We got the buy 6 and get two free. They put all 8 cookies in plastic bags. The two girls that worked the counter were super sweet and awesome. The cookies itself were pretty bad, I love cookies too. I'm very disappointed in the taste and if I'm going to spend over $15 for 8 cookies they should be in a box. They taste like baking powder, not very good.

If you're Celiac and dairy free, don't bother getting a cookie here. Raw, sickly sweet slab of dough.

Btw, I have been to France many times on business, have eaton at some of the best restaurants in Paris, really good, just not to my taste. Ok, we went here last Sunday, I wasn't hungry, but my wife was, so we thought we would use the card. Wife ordered a beef dip, one of her favorite sandwiches, not on my top 10 list. I ordered a charcuterie plater, figured we could take it home, which we did. Anyway, I took a bit of her sandwich, and even though I wasn't hungry, I ate about half of it. One of the best sandwiches I have ever had of any kind. Very simple but delicious. Baguette was amazing, beef appeared to be cured somehow, huge flavor, au jus was great. Today I am going to Timnath to meet a friend for lunch and I am going to make a 30 minute detour to get a sandwich for us for dinner. Not inexpensive, but worth it. Life is too short to eat mediocre food, plus I am a stingy with my calories, like to spend them on delicious food. Thank you La Boutique. Sincerely, Bret and Michelle

I just love the FoCo food scene and wanted to try something new. The barista made a few suggestions. It was before 11am, so that eliminated all the pretzel roll options on the menu. I decided to go with the Roma. She was right! It was refreshing. I loved every bite. Very bread-forward but clearly a high quality bake. My partner got the French Dip and enjoyed it. There's a few small tables as well as barstools along the wall, but most people ordered to-go. Check out the marketplace items, too. So cute!

This fine sunny and warm Sunday morning found us hopping in (again, we came last year) to La Crêperie to fight the crêpe withdrawals--it's been too long. Interior is very "Parisian cafe", period art, TVs showing videos of the pastry chefs doing their thing. She ordered a hot chocolate to start, and a Parisian crêpe (berries, whip cream, raspberry coulis). I ordered a galette (think square envelope-crêpe) from the savory side. I'd had it last visit and had been looking forward to a redux. I ordered the Professeur Steve, capers, mushrooms, caramelized onions, spinach and brie, which arrived with smoked salmon arranged like a rose at opposing corners (keeps it cold). Oh man, this brie-gooing mushroomy sweet-caramelly onion spinach umami explosion goes perfectly taken in a bite with the salmon. Addiction sated; withdrawals saved off until next June's visit. Wife's crêpe was delicious--everything sweet-toothers love. Hot chocolate is real. Like not from a packet but from a chocco chunk and paid labor somewhere nearby. Whipped cream was real, and thick enough that it could have been sliced and served on its own. Absolutely freaking delicious. Love this place. See you in a year!
