I have been bringing my dogs to her for years now...she's awesome and as sweet as pie!! The lady on the phone that you descibed is long gone...(I was not a fan of hers either, she tended to be very rude to customers.) The "nice" lady from the back that you spoke of is Lynn, the owner. I wouldn't bring my dogs to anyone else..she even watches them for me now when I go on vacation!! Her shop is always clean and welcoming.......:-)

I can't stand when I have an appointment and the dog is there all day. I understand some shops work in that manner like an assembly line, but when dogs have anxiety, it's not a positive experience for them. We have 2 dogs which are rescues and don't do well with extended stays. So kudos to SD for sticking with appointments and getting the dogs out as fast as possible. 2nd - the shop doesn't smell like wet dog, they do their due diligence to ensure the place smells good and clean. 3rd - owner / employees, they're all sweet, they converse a bit and make you feel comfortable about leaving a piece of your family with them. 4th - fair pricing, some shops are ridiculous. 5th - they offer a good product. All in, we live close to the shop and happy with the service they provide.
